The second Rick started talking, Beebs knew she disliked him. He struck her as arrogant and immature. The way he talked automatically made him more annoying than Troy, especially the lack of respect he was giving the prof. There were a lot of words for guys like him. a**hole, jackass, jerkoff... She had little patience for people of his sort.
She said nothing, of course. BB simply rolled her eyes and then put her head on the back of her chair. She would much rather sleep than listen to this idiot talk anymore but secretly hoped the professor would rip him out or kick him out or something.

I actually prefer a smaller board like this. I know everyone here.

After Troy got in trouble, most of the class turned to look at him. BB sunk a little deeper into her seat, not appreciating the attention. She heard Professor Banks start to ask a question, but she didn't hear it because Troy started talking again.
"So you like the color pink?" he said quietly. He was trying so hard to strike up a conversation but Beebs was having none of it. She turned her head toward Troy and gave him a long, hard glare. He stared for a few seconds and then looked away. She turned her head back to the front and smiled. Victory.

Vampires are pathetic. BB thought to herself while flipping her book open. She was sitting in the back of the classroom, the best place to take a nap. From the way the professor was acting, she doubted he would care if she snoozed through his class. She slouched down in her seat and pulled the hood over her head. It was so big that it drooped over most of her face.
The only reason BB took Mythology 101 was because she needed 14 credit hours and taking an art class would require participation, something she wasn't too fond of. She'd heard it was an easy class and the professor wouldn't notice if she skipped a few sessions. Being the first day she decided to attend. That didn't mean she had to pay attention.
She showed up on time, intending to find a seat far from any other students. However, one boy ran in right as the class started and took a seat next to her, on the right. He kept trying to strike up a conversation with her, even though the professor had already started talking.
"Hey," he said, "I'm Troy." Beebs ignored him and crossed her arms over her chest. He looked kinda confused. She hoped that meant he would give up, but not even two minutes later, he started talking about vampires and vampire novels. BB resisted the urge to throw up. She knew already that this class would be long one.
((Just threw something down lol. I love the way you introduced us, btw. Very clever.))

Lol! Agree with all! I live in the HEART of rural Ohio. On a dairy farm. The "town" I live in doesn't even have a stop light and takes five minutes to drive to. The nearest Wal-Mart? Half hour drive.

I was leaving the name of the college ambiguous due to me being the only person involved who's never been to Ohio, but in the book series it's Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. And the class is Folklore & Mythology 101. Ape and I are in Ohio! Just thought that was kind of funny. We could make up a college. And a mascot. That would be lots-o-fun. And it could be really really stupid. Like, Luther State College, home to the Fighting Chinchillas. Idk. I still have to work out which roles your characters might play, although BB does have some similarities in looks and personality with The Witch Queen from the books, so if you don't object to her having latent magical abilities that really freak her out when they first show themselves then we can go with that for her. I don't mind as long as you give me a heads up and stuff.

Yay sounds good. And it doesn't have to be an Edward, but I loath how obsessed people have become. I mean, I've read the books and liked them and the movies aren't TERRIBLE but... Seriously people? Especially my friends. I feel like shooting them some days. ((And I'm Team Jacob... *shifty eyes*))
I have a few more questions, just so we get an idea of how this will play out. 1. Once the characters enter the mythological world, will they be able to exit it? Like, into the real world? 2. What's the name of the college and the class? (It is a college, right?) 3. In the bio you wrote about a "chosen one". Is there one "chosen one" or are all three of us "chosen ones"?
Oh and a suggestion. Since it seems it's only going to be the three of us in the beginning, I think it might be a good idea to have the professor teach a large class (like, thirty students), but only the three of us get dragged in. Idk what you had planned/what the book is like, but for the purpose of this RP, it might work better. Especially if someone decides to jump in later on.

I'm going to make a vampire character if that's all right with you Pinata. Like, a super-ultra lame vampire that stalks my main character because he wants to make her "his queen". But that'll be much later, cuz I'm busy right now lol.

K, mine is finished. For the most part. Knowing me, something is going to change.
This should be rather interesting with two brooding students lol.
