Tala groaned as she sat down under a tree. She was hungry and tired, having been attacked at the last town she went to. She would have fought back, but they were humans! If one of them had gotten hurt or turned, the entire town would have come after her.
So she had to get out of there as quickly as possible. It was a poor town, so she knew she didn't have to worry about silver bullets or guns in general, but a pitchfork hurt just as much, as did a hail of rocks.
As it was, the rocks were enough and after running and then walking away from that town for a good hour or two, Tala was too tired and worn down to go farther.
She didn't want to be out doing this... She wanted to be at home, with others of her kind, but ever since humans made those d**ned guns...
No where was safe, some of the most remote lycan villages had been found and destroyed because the humans were so confident with their d**ned guns.
It was because of them she was even out on this stupid search! If they hadn't destroyed her home... Her family...
Now she just had to find Kano... finding him and staying alive was all that mattered.
But if he was really dead... then her entire journey was pointless, and she put herself in danger for nothing...
She let out a groan, which changed to a growl as she slammed her fist into the ground.
It was all the damed humans fault!

He had done it again. He had let down his guard down in the town and some humans have seen him transform out of the wolf form. Paranoid as the humans were, they had quickly and very efficiently gathered themselves into a mob and come after him. The worst part, this town had guns. He hated the guns. Even if the normal bullets didn't kill him, they hurt like hell. The bullets were something he was hoping to avoid at all costs.
So he ran, having not been able to find food again. He was just hoping to get some food in the town, but now it wouldn't be possible. He didn't know how long he could go without food having been running in his wolf form through bushes and trees for the past half hour. He slowed down making sure nobody was after him yet again. He suddenly stopped in his tracks when he heard a barely audible growl nearby. He recognized the smell an instance later. There was another of his kind nearby. He wasn't sure whether this one would be hostile or friendly. So as he approached quietly, Cezar, still in his wolf form, let out a soft growl as if to inform the other of his presence if he hadn't been sniffed out already.

Tala heard the growling and sat up straighter. If this new werewolf was here to fight, she had to be ready to do something, though she knew she'd be screwed either way.
Her wolf form was going to be just as hurt and tired as her, and she doubted she could muster the energy to go to her lycan form.
So all she could do was sit up a bit, ready to move if she had to, and just wait for the new comer.

As he got closer, he couldn't hear any movements from the stranger, as he circled round the tree, he saw that it was in fact a girl, a very attractive one at that. He was surprised to see no hostility from her side which was not common for such encounters in his experience.
Seeing as she had not made any move to attack him, he thought it would be best show the same courtesy. He stopped moving, sitting down a few feet away from her and changed into his human form. He stayed down on his knee, at level with her.
"My name is Cezar...", he left it at that, not sure what else to say.

She looked at him curiously for a bit before responding, "Tala... what do ya want?"
Her eyes held defiance and some hostility, but as of now she was in no shape to act on it.

"I am sorry, but I wasn't really expecting to find another. If you must know, I was just chased away from the town few miles south of here. All I was looking for, was food. How... Why are you here?", he asked, still on alert for any sudden movements.

"pretty much the same thing, except a different town in a different direction." she sighed and relaxed some. Seeing as how he was out for the same reason, and seemed to be in the same predicament, she didn't see the harm from lowering her guard around him a little.

"Well, it seems we are looking for the same thing right now.", he said smiling a bit. He relaxed a little, sensing the hostility dissapearing from her voice.
"Look, I know its an unusual offer, but I think we should stick together... for the time being at least", he added quickly not wanting to sound desperate. But, truth be told, he was desperate. He wasn't sure whether he would be able to outrun the next mob or fight it alone for that matter. And he thought he might be able to learn something from her...

She bit her lip and thought about it.
It seemed unusual for werewolves to travel together, or maybe it was just her. Since werewolves lived in groups, she guessed it made sense to travel with another. But it's not as if she really had any references, she didn't know anyone who went travelling for fun now a days...
But it seemed a good offer... and it would be easier to get food if there were two people working instead of one...
"I guess... for awhile anyway..." she nodded.

He smiled, glad she had accepted. He got up, hesitated a bit before extending his hand offering to help her up. It just seemed like the right thing to do. "So, pick a direction... just not the way I came from..."

She sighed and took his hand, stumbling a little as she got up, but catching herself.
She couldn't help but still be sore and tired.
"well... we need to get some food, but I don't think I can actually hunt right now... so we should try another town... can you run?" she looked at him curiously.

Her skin felt soft in his hand. He tried to safe her from falling as she stumbled but she recovered on her own. So thats why she hadn't attacked him. She was as tired as he was, maybe more.
"Yes I think I can, though I am not sure for how much longer without food. I agree, I am in no position to hunt either. Can you run?", he asked her the same question, not sure what the situation was with her. She did look pretty weak.

"I can do whatever I have to." she sighed and took her hand from his, changing to her wolf form.
Her normally clean fur was a little dirty and tatty, and it was easy to see grey patches where the dust of stones were when they hit.
But she ignored it and just stretched, trotting forward a bit and motioning for him to follow.

He changed into his wolf form. He was surprised to see the white fur. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen it. He made a soft growl, as if saying he was ready.

She just nodded a bit and started off at a trot before going faster, building up to a run so she didn't get tired too quick.
Once she hit a run, she looked to make sure Cezar was with her and then kept that pace.
