He was surprised at how fast she was recovering. A few moments ago, she was lying on the bed, close to death. Now she had enough strength to move around. He realized it was his blood that was helping her recover and possibly transform as well. But how could a pure vampire transform anymore! He couldn't fathom it.
"Myre, you cannot die before me you understand? You are the only one that can control my beast, the only reason I can control my beast...", he said as he got up from the bed, his wrist already healing. e pulled down his sleeve again and put his knife away. "You have to be careful when you feed now. Your urges will get harder to control now, especially when you feed. You will not feed alone again." This wasn't a suggestion. He needed to take care of her as she had done for him. He was the experienced one now. As a result of her transformation, most probably into a state he was in right now, she didn't know what to expect, when to expect the urges to surface, or how difficult it was going to be to control them. After that last duel, he was confident he could handle her beast if she lost control. What he meant was he would survive long enough to get her back in control. But this would be a temporary situation. If she kept growing stronger, he feared he would need his frenzy to contain her, something he wasn't ready to unleash, not yet. In principle, Myre still knew more about how to control it but now she would be a stranger to her own.
Only time will tell how this turns out. He knew only one thing for sure now, that Myre needed him more than ever before and he needed her just as much. "So Myre would you like to take a bath now?", he asked her smiling, trying to distract her from what had happened before. But more so, trying to distract himself from the guilt he still felt about what he had done.

"You think I haven't done my time before?" Myre stated defensively, "I may be born of a vampire's womb, but I have had to fight for my abilities many times over..." However, she quickly softened her mood. "But you're right... things won't be easy anymore... whatever you are, that blood of yours is potent. I must warn you, however," she sat down next to him, hugging him as she continued "others will come for your blood, and mine as well now, once they find out about such miraculous properties. You will need to be on guard at all times... protect what is yours, and I will try hard to do the same."
She knew their lives were going to be a roller coaster ride from now on; feeding separate would not be an option as the urges between them could have drastic and horrifying consequences. Myre had wanted Kraven to become familiar with his urges before she'd let him free, but now that she came close, if not matching, to his abilities, she would need to control them too. However, due to her life of constantly having to conquer such needs, Myre knew she'd have an easier time reigning those feeding frenzies; this made it all the more dangerous if she became complacent. "Oh god... what did I start?..." Myre was frightened, even from herself. Everything was strange and new to her all over, just like when she was a child going through the painful lessons of teething and biting...
At the mention of a bath, Myre was taken aback, immediately blushing in embarrassment. "A bath... us... together?? I..." She stammered, unsure of how to bring this about... "I guess that would be ok... But... Isn't it a bit early for this?" Myre wasn't talking about the time of night; their relationship had just started, so was it right for them to just jump in head-first like this? What if something happened and she got... well... Myre held him tightly again, not wanting to ever let go, but thinking that she was leaving something out; abruptly, she remembered something she'd nearly forgotten in the whole mess of what had happened...
"Kraven, there's something important I need to tell you about..."

He smiled again. "No I didn't mean together, not yet." He kissed her as he said it. "You go ahead, I will wait for you to finish." As she held him tightly in her embrace, she started telling him about her encounter with the mysterious man in the street the other day. As she told him about the task, he frowned. When she told him about the money, instead of showing surprise, his frown deepened. *Why would somebody pay so much for this particular object? Why was it so valuable?*. He didnt have the answers to these questions yet, but he intended to find out.
"If you want to go for it, we will go. Besides its not like we are doing much here except trying to kill each other...", he smiled and tried to joke about it but the guilt didn't go away.

"Well, I really don't care. The more money I have, the better off I- we'll be." That stammer was an accident, as Myre was still getting used to talking in second-person; she'd been alone for so long that everything had been about her and her only. Now that there was Kraven, it was time to start learning how to talk about both of them together.
"Yeah, I know... And its not that far away either; we could start out in the evening and make it before dark. Actually..." She held back the question, and she didn't know why; it was like she could read his mind, but only what he would think after she said it. Finally she quirked "What about that other half-breed in town? Do ya think he'd be up to helpin' us? We did, after all, pretty much save his ass earlier..." For whatever reason, Myre had a feeling that Kraven wouldn't like that idea...

He didn't say anything for a while. He knew Myre trusted him a bit more than he did. Thinking about it, he thought it might be a good idea to have some extra firepower in case all that money was for going up against whatever was between them and the stone. He sighed, knowing he might regret this. "Ok, I will go ask him while you take your bath." He kissed her again and moved his fingers over her right cheek gently. He then walked out of the room closing the door behind him. As he walked to Ikoret's room next door.
As he walked the short way he thought about the half-breed he was about to meet. He had not done anything yet to harm either of them. Infact, he seem to care about Myre, showing concern when he had seen blood outside her door. Yet there was very little about him that Kraven knew. *Oh well, no turning back now*, he thought as he knocked on the door and called out, "Ikoret, you in there? Open up, we need to talk..."

He mumbled some curse word as he sat up, not too happy about being woken up. *Of all the nights too......* "Yeah, I'm here....." He opened up the door and saw Kraven standing outside. "Well.....you seem especially dead tonight.....what do you need?"

He didn't know how to put it, so he just said it bluntly. "I and Myre are going to the ruins of New York in search of an artifact of some value. She was hoping you would come along with us, and you should. She saved your ass yesterday and brought you here after your little fight with the lychens... in case you have been wondering." He couldn't believe he was actually trying to persuade him to come along like this.
"Anyway I dont see you doing much here expect start bar fights to pass your time. Why not go up against something that may actually be a bit of a challenge? I am sure ruins like that have plenty of things to kill...", he added , now waiting for an answer.

Wow....he had just found help in recovering the stone.....things could become a bit messy if that's really what they're after.....but what were allies if not enemies you hadn't made yet? "Yeah....may as well. Not like I have anything better to do....When are you leaving?"

He had agreed too easily, he noticed. Odd. "We are leaving after the sun sets... for obvious reasons. I will come let you know when we are ready." He heard the shower running in the bathroom and added, "Uh, better not enter the bathroom right now by the way...".
He walked back to his room now, which he hadn't been to since he met Myre. Collecting the few things he carried and after washing up quickly, he was back in Myre room, sitting on a chair, playing with his knife.

"Just to let you know.....She always makes sure to keep it locked because of an accident a few days ago when she had just come in......anyway.....see you tomorrow....." He closed the door and went back to sleep.

Myre opened the door, walking out in her bathrobe as she went over to Kraven, sitting down on her bed next to him. "Are you gonna play with that all night?" she whispered coyly into his ear, kissing it lightly as she went over to the small fireplace, using a match she lit against a bare leg to start a small fire in there. She was in a fairly good mood, although the exact origins of it were not apparent to her; she did manage to ignore her inner voice which was screaming that she was playing dangerous at the moment with a man she hardly knew.
Laying down on the bed, she pulled the covers over herself, not even bothering to change clothes. Besides, all hers were wet and drying in the bathroom, and she would need replacements for the T-shirt and the chain mail, which had probably been her saving grace back there. Pushing aside the hair from her neck as if to say If you want it, here it is. You deserve and need it, she quickly went to sleep, not thinking anything about whatever else he might say to her actions. Besides, they both needed to be strong tomorrow; if her blood could help, then she'd gladly give it, even while sleeping... Perhaps she placed too much trust in Kraven, but she'd find out if that were true soon enough...

Kraven stopped spinning the knife as Myre walked into the room. He just looked at her as she approached him and kissed him. He couldn't be sure but it almost seem that she was trying to seduce him. As she got into the bed, under the covers all he could think about for a few seconds was how beautiful she was. She seemed extremely comfortable in his presence, again showing the trust he had seen on many occasion in the previous few nights.
He got up from the chair and approached her. Bending down to kiss her on the cheek, he stayed there for a while. He could sense her blood a few inches from his teeth. But surprisingly, he remained fully in control. By means of the greatest sacrifice a living being could give, Myre had given him the control he didn't think he could ever achieve, in the duel. He whispered in her ear, "Sweet dreams my love...", he paused for a few seconds and then added, "I will stay by your side forever, I promise." He then quietly walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
He hadn't forgotten about the journey they were about to undertake. For that they would need supplies. He put up his hood, staying in the shadows as much as possible, he moved around town swiftly but decisively buying a T-shirt for Myre among other things and went back to the metalsmith. He was happy to see his well paying customer again, even if he was a vampire! He stood in the corner while the metalsmith worked. He had said he would be using a stronger metal this time since Kraven had seem to have broken the previous one. Again Kraven paid him a handsome amount and walked out. As he walked back to the room, he could sense someone watching him. It was just a feeling but he had never been wrong about these things before. As he looked around discreetly, not spotting anything unusual, he made his way to Myre's room. Putting the things down on the table, he slowly and quietly laid on one side of the bed next to Myre. He closed his eyes and was asleep in a few moments.

((OOC: I apologize for the extreme cursing on the last post! >.< ohh and by I meant cigarettes when I spelled f*g.. it's just that cigarettes can be called f*g.. >.< and I thought it's a cooler word.. but anyways! sry mates! otherwise what did ya think about my intro post!... it was a flashy scene and surely was needed to get the attention he deserves! hehe!)) Adrian soon came to a place called Dead Angels Tavern, he putted a grin on his face and walked in! as he got inside he looked around at all these different sort of people, Lycans, Vamps, Demons, Humans and other kinds... everyone seemed to get along even though all of them would be seen as a creatures of chaos or evil nature... what could be guessed was that it was a free-zone, where everyone chills out without violence.. and by coming to this place everyone seem to agree that they're rather tired of fighting for the day or the week, probably that is the cause of some stupid dead corpses outside.. which must have been trouble-makers having everyone in Dead Angels Tavern getting really pissed, result for interupting their rest... DEATH! Adrian walked up to the bar-keep and ordered a glass of scotch, a 5cl to be correct, he paid 10 bucks for it and told him to keep the change, Adrian didn't really know what else to do with his cash, since he earns alot of cash taking whatever his prey has to give being dead and so on! The food is something he usually took from a store or something, but maybe not today! "Yo.. and a grilled beef with grilled potatoes and garlic sauce, make the beef medium grilled!" Adrian told the bar-keep! The bar-keep laughed at Adrian.. "What!?" Adrian responded annoyed! "This is not a resturant!" The bar-keep responded! Adrian laid his hand on his face! "Ofcourse.. sorry!" Adrian responded annoyed as he took a zip from his scotch!

(one thing you could be doing is not using so many bloody f**king exclamation marks >.> its getting rather annoying and looks more like a car commercial than an RP post...)
Brian had seen this new lover of Myre's, and was quite impressed. A sense of presence stood about him, even as he tried to hide. "They'll both be in the middle of this upcoming war, one that will tear apart a decades-old heirachy, and send all down a path they know nothing about. May God be with them all, and let the race begin..."
Disappearing into the shadows from whence he came, the man put a phone to his ear after flipping it open. "Yes, they are going to sleep now. No, I don't think the half-Methuselah will be a problem, but the half-demon might be. Yes... yes... But of course! I'll be there at the next board meeting to give a progress update." Closing the phone, he simply smiled wide; the knowledge he carried was sharper than any double-edged blade, more destructive than any weapon man could make. And he planned on using it, and them also, to bring down the order that had nearly destroyed man-kind at the beginning of the new century...
Several hours later, Myre awoke. Kraven sat fast asleep next to her as she stirred, pulling the towel around herself as much as possible. Why she wasn't feeling off around him intrigued her; she'd d**n near killed Ikoret a day or so before for accidentally peeking in on her, but she was doing this to Kraven... Turning over, she gently brushed her hands through his hair. It finally struck her; she'd been rationalizing for so long that her feelings were survival that she hadn't fully appreciated that she did truly and fully love him.
The truth was like a stiff wind blowing the fog from her mind; she saw now what she had been fearing was the one thing that she needed most to keep if they were going to survive. Separating the terrycloth robe, she carefully pulled him closer, placing him between her breasts before laying the cloth back down. She didn't care a bit what anyone else would have thought about the action; she loved him, and nothing else mattered, not even her own privacy, if it separated her from him for even a moment... she had sensed his leaving before but did nothing about it, but now she would make every effort to be near Kraven, even if it meant being ridiculed or looked down upon...
However, she soon noticed the sunset, and memories of her current contract, although unwritten, came to mind. For now, her facade could, would wait. "Sorry darling..." she said, carefully removing his head and laying a pillow under it as she got off the bed, grabbing the new T-shirt as she slipped off to the bathroom, finding her other articles dry after several hours of hanging around. Dropping the robe, she quickly changed, folding up the still-wet robe and placing it neatly on top of the toilet tank. Emerging, she grabbed the plate, which she assumed that he'd gotten fixed, and attached it in its rightful spot, then grabbed and placed the rest of her gear, checking and cleaning everything as she waited for Kraven to awake...

He had slept peacefully. It wasn't his body that was tired. It was his mind, it had felt like it would explode with everything that had happened in the past few hours. As he opened his eyes, he saw Myre fully clothed and ready to go. He was happy to see she had worn the new neck plate he had got her. Even she understood its importance now. It suddenly struck him that if it hadn't been there during the duel, she would have been in a worse situation.
"Time to wake up our traveling partner, dont you think?", he said smiling.
