Myre waited outside while Kraven whacked the half-demon awake. She didn't much like it either, but he wasn't malicious, and he did owe them a bit for pulling his ass out of those lychen; saving his life might be a bit of an overstatement, but he was alright thanks to them. Pretty much the same thing either way.
She felt another chill, and looked out towards the window. However, even her extremely enhanced night vision couldn't spot anything outside, so she let it be. Whomever it was, whether Brian or another figure, they'd show themselves eventually. That was well enough with Myre, who had never been one for witch hunts or turkey shoots. A well-hidden opponent was a challenge to her, as she loved flaunting her impeccable tracking skills, even against allies...

Kraven went to Ikoret's room and knocked again on the door. "Hey Ikoret, time to go...", he waited for Ikoret to open the door still curious how and why he had agreed so readily.

"Alright, alright....." He sat up and put on his usual trenchcoat and gloves in addition to the dark pants he was wearing and put on his combat boots. Then he put on the face mask he usualy had on. (he looks like my avatar) Ikoret walked over and opened the door, "Alright.....now where are we headed again?" He said grogily.

"Did you forget already? Ruins of New York, like I said last time", he said, but getting suspicious at his behavior. He was trying to understand why he was acting dumb. He definitely wasn't.
"Follow me...", he added and turned around to go where Myre was waiting for them.

He yawned and walked after him, wondering why he was still so tired.....he had slept for almost a full day! Thinking on it he still had no idea.

(she's already outside the door silly see my last post) Myre tried not to giggle at the sight; Ikoret was obviously not completely here at the moment, judging by his reaction. "Come on you kids," she butted in, trying to remain composed as she did, "We ain't got all day here to play dumb... or be it for that matter." Taking the lead, she walked out the door, knowing the two would be close behind her. Myre's sense of directions was sharp as ever, and even though she'd only been to the former New York once, she remembered exactly which direction it was, even from this new standpoint. Walking slow so the others could catch up, Myre looked ahead; they were going to pass the area where she'd nearly died not long ago. Dollar signs dancing in her head, her footsteps glided over the ground with ease, taking sense and purpose to keep a smooth rhythm as she strode off away from the settled sun...

Having never been to the ruins, Kraven wasn't sure of the time it would take them to reach any shelter. "Myre, would we be able to reach New York before dawn?" It wasn't that he didn't know how near it was. He was just calculating, thinking whether they would have enough time to reach if they got 'delayed', attacked...

"Like I told you when you weren't listening," she began sarcastically, "its only a few miles. No biggie. If dawn comes to soon, we can hide out just about anywhere... the place is pretty big, but most of the biggest buildings are still in one piece, or at least still standing. Trust me, its pretty awe-inspiring to see..."
Her mother had taken her there once long before, when things weren't so ugly as they were now. Now, of course, lychen crawled everywhere, and the few settlements that were scattered about were lawless towns where the strong preyed upon the weak. Not as if it was much different anywhere else, but it was especially bad here. "Just keep your guard up and y'all do just fine." 'I hope...' she managed to mumble under her breath...

"Ah New York.....even before the darker races came up in force.....the place was an absolute rathole of human scum.....But in the daylight it was more hectic than dangerous......a very interesting place....." He seemed to be waking up again, he certainly felt much better.

As they walked, the tall ruins came into sight. They would have looked magnificent in their time, he thought. As they grew near, Kraven could clearly hear a few growls. He looked at Myre to notice even she had heard them.
"Hey Ikoret, we are about to have some company. If you aren't awake yet, this should certainly help." he said, taking his sword in his hand. His mind was filling up with rage again. But this time, he kept his guard up for any urges that might surface with his rage.

He drew his katana and held it backhand style. The temperature seemed to drop as he got ready, "This is going to be fun....."

Myre growled, having most likely smelt the lychen before the other two; all her senses had been hyperpowered by Kraven's blood, and she could still feel their effects pulsing through her body. One of the more annoying ones being, of course, her superpowered frenzy, which she was desperately trying to control. Even as she did, she could hear more and more of them, as if the whole of the New York Ruins were being drawn to the three of them.
Myre was draining herself just trying to control the frenzy, something she had experienced only when she was young and inexperienced with controlling even a normal frenzy. The only thing was that this was a hundred times worse, and it was killing her as she stood there, her breathing becoming heavier and heavier as she continued fighting for control.
So what would she do when she couldn't hold back the tide any longer? Simply give in? Actually... she told herself, that's not a bad idea... She turned to Kraven, who seemed to be in complete control of himself as she was fighting with every ounce of her energy, sweat rolling off of her in waves, and commanded him "Kraven, if I come after you, put an end to me... no questions... asked..."
And with that, without awaiting an answer, she put away her weapons, closing her eyes and letting the pain wash over her... She felt her body change, both outside and in, as the frenzy overtook her body... When it was over, she opened her eyes, entering a whole new world around her...
Some of her ribs had caved in while others expanded; her flesh paled to a pure glistening white, like newly-fallen snow; her claws were now sharper than sharp, able to split anything in her path, down even to the molecule so she thought... Beyond those changes, her senses exploded, giving her a whole new dimension of vision all around her. And the strangest part of all was that she didn't feel a bit hungry; the frenzy replaced the blood it burned off with new blood inside herself, turning her into an endless killing machine as long as her body could take the strain. She looked much like a brutal goddess, one who craved for destruction and death at the moment...
The world had either slowed down, or she'd sped up to a speed beyond possibility, beyond her comprehension... Being careful not to move too swiftly, she slowly advanced on Kraven, giving him the softest kiss she could muster as she turned to face the advancing tide of lychen. More than likely, that kiss was burning hot, but if he felt her nearby, she didn't give a d**n...

He was afraid of, almost expecting this to happen. It would end with a blood being spilled, his blood he had to control her. Even though Myre had said it, it wasn't likely he would kill her, he wasn't sure that he could without using his frenzy. As she turn around to approach Kraven, the speed told him she was in control, but he couldn't be sure. Remembering what had happened last time, he gave took the chance and let her approach. The gentleness of her gesture took him by surprise. He hadn't though she would be capable of showing it in her frenzy. He couldn't let her lose control, not now, not ever. As she turned around, he spoke to Ikoret, "Listen, I know you can take care of yourself well enough, but make sure I am always between you and Myre. I don't want you trying anything if something goes wrong. Leave it to me. You understand?" He took a few steps forward to stand right behind Myre. He was going to have to fight beside her keeping one eye on her for any signs, that all in his state of fury which seemed to have died down temporarily with the kiss, but was arising again fast enough. ((Crow, you can start the attack ))

"I got you....Yeah!!!" He ran out with his katana behind him. He was headed straight for a group of lycans before he took a sudden step to the side and spun, lopping one unfortunate beast's head off. "Come on! Hit me you idiot!" He said, holding his arms to the side as the lycan took a swing at him that he could barely duck."That one almost took my head off!" He shouted as he ran his new claw through the bottom of the things head in an upper cut. He dodged to the side again as another tried to hit him, "Told you this was going to be fun!" He shouted as he nearly sliced a lycan's arm off.

Myre felt like a whole different person; even at a quarter blood, she was moving faster than she ever had at full blood before, and even now she had more control than she had at one-eighth blood with her last frenzy, and that barely even showed on her then. She could feel Kraven behind her, worrying as usual, and she figured the best she could do was to ignore that and say within fighting distance of him just in case.
Her movements were smooth as silk, her limbs flowing like water as she rushed forward, her body on edge but containing the rage she was experiencing, Myre cut clean through one lychen and sent another into a death spiral. Turning, she easily dodged another and tore into its stomach. So many of them all around, but she didn't care; as long as her body could keep up, she'd push herself as far and destroy as many of them as she could. Pausing for a moment, she looked back to see how Kraven was holding up...
