Myrg had entered the old suburbs of New York city. Though many ruins of houses were still standing, most had long ago been pilfered for materials, or to free up ground to grow food. It was always quiet here, but it would get pretty rough once he got to the city center.
Myrg remembered what he had read. The Stone was hidden in a secret bunker underneath Manhattan, the roughest place in these ruins. He decided stealth was better than strength here and had taken only two undercover soldiers, heavily armed with guns, silver swords and even holy water, to be delivered through ancient 'super soaker' guns. And fortunately, a demon wasn't a very odd sight in this wretched place.

Kraven now truly realized the extent of the growth of his powers. He was literally slicing through the lychen bodies with the sword, and this without his frenzy. His eagerness to kill more of them combined with the urge to go into a frenzy, but he was trying to control it yet again. He was very close to Myre and she was trusting him to keep her in control. If he himself lost control at this point, well, he would imagine Ikoret would end up trying to kill one or both of them. So he stopped himself from going after them, only taking care of those that came his or Myre's way.
She was burrowing deeper into the pack of beasts, ripping apart anything in her path, while he kept up with her clearing the sides. The demon almost seemed to be enjoying himself with the lychens shouting at them like a hyperactive killer.

Myre was actually enjoying herself and these new powers. She never did that; every hunt had some joy at the end of it, but that was from finishing the job, not from killing everything in sight that she could. She could feel the frenzy waining, but Myre remained in control; even if she couldn't outbest Kraven, who was still on her heels, she could at least keep her own mind and not have to let go of that.
Shredding a few more lychen like paper, Myre abruptly came to a stop; her eyes widened at the sight of a small child standing in the midst of so many lychen. A maternal instinct came over her, and suddenly protecting that child meant everything to her, although it seemed she was being ignored by all those around her... No child should have to see what this one was seeing right now...
Landing next to Kraven, Myre motioned towards the child as she continued fighting. "Get that kid out of here" she said, blocking a set of claws and tearing off the arm that they'd come from before cutting out the beast's heart. Turning back to him, she said "Are you deaf?! Do it now! I don't care what species it is, just get it out of here fast!"

He had heard her the first time. It was just that he knew this was not a little girl, it was definitely a demon and a very deceptive one at that. It had already tricked Myre into thinking it needed help. But he couldn't be sure. Who knew what went on in these ruins.
So he approached cautiously, cutting down two lychens that were retreating from Myre in one strike. He kept his sword in hand. To his amazement, the lychens' were giving him enough room to make his way to her. As he turned his neck and looked back that the path he had made to his present position was now slowly filling with lychens. He already knew he was walking into a trap when he took the first step.
As he turned around to look at the girl, he froze. The girl seems to have moved further away from him. There were enough lychens between him and Myre that they couldn't see each other. Ikoret was nowhere to be seen either. The lychens were not attacking him but the ones closest to him were growling no doubt in anticipation of a meal to come. He kept walking slowly further into the ruins as the girl kept backing away, cut off from the rest...

Ikoret finished off a few more before noticing the pack of lycans pressing in on Kraven and the little girl. He moved towards the back of the pack and started to slit throats with a dagger he had pulled. Very soon they noticed him and he was forced to fight again. He wasn't the hyperactive killer at this point though. Lives were at steak and he wasn't about to be caught messing around. At least some of the heat was off of Kraven though, but he was suddenly reminded of the danger he was in when a claw clipped his shoulder.

*not exactly what i was looking for, but i can work through it*
Myre fought through behind him, tearing apart any more that stood in her way. She sensed a change in the air, and she didn't like it. The lychen were getting harder and harder to push through now, and she'd be needing blood soon. Her body was wearing out from the fight, and she was sure that she'd ran through her adrenaline long ago.
It was when she was about half-way to Kraven when she felt the earth shake; a sudden rush of terror came over her as she quickened the pace. Something was definitely wrong, and Myre cursed herself for leaving Kraven's side as she rushed forward, jumping over some lychens as she got closer and closer to the closed-off ruins... abruptly, she was tossed back, thrown out of her frenzy by the force of it... looking up, she saw two warrior-type lychens standing in front of her, directly between her and Kraven, their crude plate armor signifying their stronger state above the rest. "That's something you'll come t' regret, beasts!" Myre growled, frenzying again with as much ease as last time while the two lychen continued standing in her path, not budging an inch...

Mikeal had rested well and healthy by now, the other night a explosion had errupted about 5 miles away from Mikeal's current point where he majorly just stood still and watched out the deserted city...
Swallowing the darkness away in the city was a flashing light of battle... *It seems I am not the first one to find him... Gluttony...* Mikeal figured and jumped down and grabbed the fireladder and started to walk towards the area. A mist was laying low and had started to grow thicker the further into the part of the city he went... *He must be really annoyed by now... And my enter will just enlighten his life with a silver tipped spear right through it's head like a nut trapped in a nut cracker!* Mikeal thought and rested a little while leaning against a wall and litted yet another cigarette...
*This place is already starting to piss me off!*

The girl had stopped moving. As he reached close enough, he saw the girl smiling. He looked around. Although it was pitch dark in this cave like structure, his sense of smell alone told him, he was in the middle of the lychen lair.
The girl suddenly spoke in a hoarse voice, "Too bad you filthy half-breed, you are dumber than I thought. You walked right into my trap...".
Kraven cut her off, "Yes, and planning on getting out as soon as I am done with you, demon."
"Ah yes, the all powerful Kraven.", she said, still smiling. Kraven froze in mid stride. She continued, "don't look so shocked. You think I cant smell that blood from miles away. You and your mate, Myre, are unique. And... we want your blood." She raised her hands and the lychens came forth into the dim light. He realized he had misjudged his position. These were not normal lychens. These were wearing some kind of strong armor.
His thought went back to Myre as he fought dozens of lychens trying to keep them from reaching his neck. Within a few moments he realized he was losing. His blows weren't doing as much damage because of the armor while the lychens were shredding him apart. His only choice was the one he didn't want to make. As he backed away trying to get back in the open, he realized he might not make it. If he didn't, Myre would be next. It was the last thought that crossed his mind before he let the frenzy and the urges took over.
He let you a scream that pierced the ruins like the wind. It was instant not the slow process he was expecting. He lost all awareness of his body and his surrounding as he sensed his body change a little...

Myre punched a hole through the lychen warrior's armor, tearing out his still-beating heart and bit into it. Tossing it behind her at the other one as she spit out the blood that had gotten into her mouth, she turned and managed a foothold on the crude plate; pulling herself up as the stunned lychen tried to recover, she wrapped her legs around its head, then jerked her whole body to one side, twisting the lychen's less flexible neck around a hundred-eighty degrees and snapping it in two before she let go, tumbling backwards as the beast fell.
Then she heard it; Kraven had awakened. Fear once again struck in her heart, as she knew she couldn't control him. Myre was only a fraction of his strength; he was the full-blooded reality. Still, she rushed head long inside and saw the carnage unfolding; dozens of warrior lychen surrounded Kraven, all of them trying to get at him. The girl sat off to the side, a wicked grin spread across her face as she turned to Myre. "And now, its time for the main event. M'lady, if you will..."
Suddenly and very abruptly, the child tore in two, and a bulbulous form emerged, rising up to the ceiling as Myre could only stand and watch in terror. Even as one lychen attacked her, she couldn't move; it was only until it bit her that she reacted, and with the ferocity of an enraged tiger. Turning around, she grabbed the thing by the head, feeling the changes inside it already happening, and snapped its neck; with a mighty knee snap, she tore the thing's head off and sent herself into a half-blooded frenzy, her wounds healing faster than they could be made. Still, there was the problem behind her that needed taking care of...

Waking up outside Dead Angels Tavern Adrian felt that the heat of battle was in the city.
"Hmm.. Sinner!... hmph.. who cares about Gluttony!?" Adrian asked himself, though he wanted to kill him, he knew that before he was around that fat fella Gluttony or the other would have killed him!
Adrian litted a cigarette and inhaled!
"I might just go after...(short pause) no one... cause the trouble comes to me!" Adrian said and tightened his fists.
Adrian looked into the darkness, he saw a cloaked somebody and white evil grinning teeth, as he looked closer he saw electricity sparking out of the cloaked somebody's hand before that somebody shutting his hand and tighten his or her fists.
"I'm Gazette" The man spoked with a deep dark voice and uncloaked his hood.
Adrian looked at him and then untightened his fists and putted them each inside the pockets at the waist of his suit, he drew forth his left arm again and grabbed his cigarette.
"Okey.. Gazette.. so what is it that you want from me?" Adrian asked calm and eased.
The man gave away a friendly grin and responded.
"Your demon.... which is inside of you..." Gazette responded beginning to sound threatening.
"Hmm.. if you unseal him from me?... but I guess you ain't capable of that right?... so it means you must kill me to do such... since the only one capable of it is a creature of hell!... (short pause and change of personality) I'm afraid we'll have to kill you then since Adrian is right about this one!" Adrian and Wrath Trigger (his demon) said standing in a mocking, relaxed pose with the cigarette hanging loosly from their lips, they tighten the grip of the cigarette with their lips and inhale a last time before spitting it out.
"Make your best move!" Adrian said with his demon having controll over the other half of his body.
Adrian saw Gazette dashing towards Adrian in lightening fast speed having electric sparks flying from his feet, then Adrian felt the big smash right over his face.
*We.. we can't move!?* Adrian and Wrath Trigger thought at the same time!
"hah... you're sealed to the ground and I move lightening fast... don't you think I've figured it all out.. the only way for me to beat you is to seal you by the ground... I've studied all your techniques... all your moveability and your dangerous Ultimate Trigger, nothing of what you're capable of can beat me now!" Gazette said knowing he was right by his superior speed and his ability to seal people to the ground!
"I will electrify you body on the same place you're standing... with my lightening fast fists!" Gazette said with his long ocean blue hair flowing with the wind spitting smaller sparks here and there and his pitch black eyes with moving lightening inside.
"What can we say... we're totally amazed aren't we pal!?" Adrian asked his demon friend inside of him, "Yeah totally" Adrian recieved as respons from Wrath Trigger.
"Next move and you're down!" Adrian and Wrath Trigger said at the same time!
Gazette moved with his lightening speed once again raising his fist in head height of Adrian and Wrath Trigger.
Adrian's arm went up and grabbed the hand of Gazette!
Gazette with an amazed reflex shoot electricity through the hand trying to have Adrian releasing his grip, but Adrian endured and drew Gazette backwards and had Wrath Trigger's part of the body grabbing the other arm of Gazette!
"What will you do in this situation!?" Adrian and Wrath Trigger asked mocking Gazette, which mostly tried with his Electric shooting hands, but it didn't even bite on Adrian and Wrath Trigger!
"We have a leather suit... with leather gloves... and you think it transfers electricity?.. wouldn't think so... but ya know what?... we'll burn you NOW!" Adrian and Wrath Trigger said with a cruel smile and litted Gazette on fire, the fire spread quickly onto Gazette's body and soon he got turned into ashes...
Adrian's body got released from the seal as Gazette died and Adrian laughed.
"He had a nice plan though... didn't he Wrath Trigger?!" Adrian said smiling, "Well he sure did... sadly he didn't think about our suit... otherwise we wouldn't been more or less screwed yeah... sometimes I wonder why I am weak.. but it's because of your body.. I mean I've been trained by Wrath the Sin himself" Wrath Trigger responded.
"Yeah whatever!" Adrian asnwered calm and eased!

Kraven's frenzy was at work for the first time, as if trying to prove itself to its host. He was literally tearing apart limbs and heads of the lychens with his bare hands having dropped his sword long ago. As he was running out of lychens to kill the urges were already beginning to turn on the new being who had entered the cave. *No, not her!*, he shouted to himself. But it was the frenzy in control of his body now and his mind fighting back for control as he realized what he had let loose. The wounds were healing faster than the lychens were inflicting. And he was a monster that was hungry for more prey. The ground underneath had piles of body parts lying around him, some still twitching. As he turned around to see a weakening Myre fighting off the demon, instead of helping her, he went into the shadow moving with phenomenal speed behind her biding his time, out of sight, like a true hunter. The lair had gone silent except for Myre's breathing. He crouched on all fours waiting to grab her neck.
Kraven, almost trapped inside the monster's body, his own by right could only muster enough will power to whisper, "Myre... run..." before he lost himself in the frenzy again.

Myre turned to him, still in her own frenzy; apparently, she was wrong about Kraven having more control than she had over this new-found craving. The moment seemed like an eternity, but she refused to run, not now... "Kraven... can you still hear me?"
Myre grabbed him by the throat as he attacked her, cutting off circulation to his brain for a moment, and then brought him as close as she could bring him, kissing him long and hard on the lips as the demon behind them closed in... She could hear his thoughts now; they were so close that she could feel her heartbeat synchronizing with his... She forced herself to remain calm, to remain the one in control...
"Kraven, let me help... let me help you fight this... together... together we will beat this thing, both of them..." Offering her own neck as she relayed her thoughts to him, she bit down on him as well, expecting him full well to do the same... As the blood flowed freely into her mouth, she resisted the urge to bite harder, and hoped that the release of blood would calm the beast in Kraven, if only for a little while... She knew what kind of danger she put herself in, but it was the last option she had...

As the beast in him, tried to push her away, it was surprised by the kiss, giving Kraven enough time to recover. As his body reacted to the blood in Myre's neck and bit down, it was the memory of what had happened before, that brought him back in control. He was able to suppress the beast for now event though his hunger was rising. He pulled back, not feeding anymore, as Myre's still bit down, fully aware of the demon heading their way.
Myre had her back to it, almost protecting him from a direct attack. But as she bit down, he could sense that her frenzy was running on the last of the usable blood. Just as the demon got ready to attack again, Kraven, turned himself around her, putting himself in the path of the strike. He was ready to take the blow, but he was just waiting for the demon to come in range of his grip. As the demon, bit down on the other side of his neck, he reached back with one hand, keeping the other around Myre, pulling the demon from his neck and twisting its neck. It stop moving, dying right there in his hands.

Ikoret walked back into things with only a few gashes to show for the recent fight. "Not exacitally the way I would have done it......but artistic none the less ......" He flicked some of the blood off his katana and sheathed it, looking at some of the kills and letting out a low whistle. "You're sure you aren't anything more than regular vampires?"

Myre let go, renewed slightly by the blood inside her, and made a drastic move; she somehow instinctively knew the demon wasn't dead yet, and so she wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to move ever again... For some reason, this demon seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't pinpoint exactly why...
Using Kraven as a vaulting point, she launched herself onto the demon as it started healing and moving again. Climbing across the beast as it roared in fury, she found herself upside down, but kept moving, using a new-found set of claws in her feet to keep her attached. Her boots would be ruined, but it was a small price to pay at the moment.
She had to find the center of it, an entrance to the demon's core; if she could get a clear shot at its heart with one of her HW rounds, the demon would die almost instantly. The tricky part was finding an entry point; as she moved now, the demon was sprouting limbs all over, trying to knock her off. Dodging these, it took her a minute but she found a point; loading the last HW round she had, Myre used her left fist to punch through the soft membrane, plunging her right into the hole before opening up the crossbow. She was firing blind, but she kept her hand steady as she felt the sickly skin beneath her moving...
Abruptly, Myre was launched across the ruins like a ragdoll, her crossbow broken and bent up as she hit the wall with a heavy thud; about the same time, a roar could be heard for miles as the demon died, its heart torn open by the holy water. It continued shrinking as Myre watched, and she just caught a glimpse of a child crying in the center as a gooey mess formed all over the floor... about then, she lost consciousness for a minute, and could feel herself falling just as she blacked out...
