Her heart tugged again... even after how rough she'd been, he still treated her like another person, and an adult, something few people did. "Thank you..." she managed to get out before tears started coming to her eyes, tears that she wiped away quickly as she affixed the chain plate underneath her clothes. It was probably comfortable enough to wear against her bare skin, but she didn't have the time to put it there at the moment. Besides, now wasn't the time to be worrying about such things...
Heading out the door, making sure that he was in tow closely behind her, Myre wound her way through the streets in the opposite way that they'd gone the last time, towards the other side of the city. When she'd passed through before, she'd seen an area that was perfect for fighting; spacious, but rough terrain that would test both of them as they tested each other. Myre kept a watchful eye about the city, her eyes glowing a dark red as her latent night-vision became active, a specialty of vampires. Lychen could see fairly well in darkness, and demons were pretty much the same way except they could sense obstacles; only vampires had night-vision capabilities, something that made them deadlier as they could see their prey before it sensed them.
She wasn't so much afraid of people attacking; more or less, she was spotting those females that chose to stay out at night, a foolish thing to begin with, but one that many practiced anymore. Their blood was infected with half of everything she could imagine, but if she were hungry, Myre could overlook those inconveniences and use them if necessary. She didn't know why she preferred feeding from human females, but they tasted better than the male-kind for whatever reason; not that she was picky, but she did have discerning tastes.
As they walked out of town, Myre kept her sensed at a high guard; if anyone was nearby, she'd see them quickly. Abruptly, however, she turned around; Myre had totally forgotten about the UV lamps that guarded the city by night, but apparently there was a guard watching them for the moment; he must've lowered them when he saw Myre walking straight into them before she could get herself hurt. Perhaps these humans are more appreciative than I originally believed she thought privately, smiling at the notion that someone actually appreciated her work and not just looked at her weird.
As they came into the clearing where the fight would take place, Myre set her satchel down and sat on a rock next to it. "Rest for a moment" she commanded, "And when you're feeling ready, just tell me." She herself was feeling a bit winded as her body desperately tried to process the blood that was left; thankfully, that girl was clean of most infections, but it would still take her a few minutes to fully ingest the remaining contents of her blood and add it to Myre's own. She waited for Kraven's response, observing the injuries that she'd gotten earlier and feeling the bite that she'd just gotten not a half-hour ago...

He walked out the door behind her. As they walked through the bar with all the fights going on, he noticed all of them took the care to avoid coming in contact with them. He saw Ikoret sitting on one of the tables smiling as he watched the fights. Kraven had satisfied his hunger enough that if he didnt think about he didn't feel any urges as he passed through the human out tonight. He just kept his mind alert for hostiles and concentrated on following Myre out the town.
As they reached the limits of the town, he realized Myre was distracted. She hadnt noticed the lamps yet. He had already covered his exposed head with the hood of his cloak, covering his skin. He looked around for the guard hut and spotted the guard watching them intently. He raised him hand to draw his attention, pointed at the lamps and made a gesture across his neck telling him to cut the lights.
The guard knew these two having seen them the previous might going towards the source of the horrible howls. He hadn't been sure about them until then. Now, he knew that they probably saved a lot of lives that night. If they hadn't been around, it would have been him doing the dying. He saw the man with the big blade telling him to switch off the lights. He thought it was the least he could do given the circumstances. He didnt think the town was in any danger if he did as these two would probably take care of whatever came this way. After he switched off the lights, he waved at the man as if saying you are welcome.
He nodded at the guard as he had done what he asked and caught up to Myre after a while. With the lights off, they wouldnt need to worry about any problems if they accidentally exposed each others' skin.
As they reached a clearing, Myre said that they should rest. Rest? He was surprised but he didnt show it, he just nodded and checked his weapons and looked around the area to check if anyone was around. The night vision, something he had had before, was now enhanced enough to see even in absolute darkness.
He sensed Myre was having some trouble with the less blood that remained in her body and was waiting to recover her strength before the fight. He was also concerned. He had never really fought a duel, at least not without an intention to kill his opponent. If he frenzied while fighting, that would pose a totally different problem.
He took his sword in his hand. It seemed much lighter than before, a sign the strength in his arms had increased. It gave him better control, something that was lacking earlier.
"I am ready, whenever you are good to go..."

Myre was weaker than she'd thought. "Give me a few minutes here" she said, anxiously waiting for her body to return to full strength; it irritated her that the blood was taking so long to digest. Usually, she couldn't keep blood in her system long enough, and now she seemed to have too much, but her body was slowing down and taking its time. After a minute of no change, she gave up; "f**k it all... let's do this."
Standing up, Myre didn't even wait for Kraven to prepare himself; it was the best way for her to see if he was getting stronger, or if it was just her imagination. She immediately pulled on her frenzy and, whipping out the kukris midstride, lunged for him, intent to kill burning in her eyes... Of course, she wasn't looking to kill him, but enemies would waste no time with niceties and such, and she wanted to see his new-found abilities at work under the most dangerous of situations. In short, if he didn't move or block, she could take a chunk out of him easily, although in this she would more likely leave cuts and bruises on him as a reminder of what being slow does to one...

He had hoped to test his speed against hers, like what she saw in the fight with the demon. But something wasnt right. Either he could follow her much easily with his faster reflexes or she was much slower than before. He didnt see a need to go over-board with the duel and he still wasnt sure about his strength, so he decided he would defend himself and not strike as long as possible.
As she pounced at him, he saw how she could be a formidable opponent when she was faster. He withdrew his sword from in front of him which he had kept there to protect against her crossbow. He changed his stance a little and as she came close enough to make the strike with her kukris, he caught her wrist in mid-strike and pulled her towards himself and then past behind him sending her off-balance past him. He turned around to face her, ready for another strike with his sword secured behind him in his hand.

Myre was caught totally off-guard; she had no idea that Kraven had grown so strong and fast that he could dodge her strikes so easily. It was more as if he were toying with her, an idea she didn't like. She'd only used half-blood for that last strike, and as she saw him going defensive, so Myre decided to up the ante.
Turning around and planting her foot, she brought out about three-quarters of her frenzy, the changes becoming more drastic than before. She was still afraid of full frenzy, as the last time she used that it d**n near killed her on a full stomach; to most, she was no longer a blur, but a flurry of footsteps that kicked up dirt as she raced around, then lunged, having pulled one of her knives and aiming for the throat, which if she reached it, would be an easy kill. Myre doubted that it would actually kill him, but more likely at least put him out for a long while...

He was suddenly surprised by a new burst of speed. He could still follow her moves but a stunt like last one would probably end up with his arm on the ground now. As she went for his throat, he thought, *Thats more like it, thats the speed I expected*. He wasnt sure about his frenzy yet, so tried to suppress it for now. As the knife came closer to his neck he did his best to move aside. Her knife had made a small gash nonetheless. It wasnt deep enough to cut anything vital but it had drawn a trickle of blood. As she moved to recover from the strike, he went around her and caught her wrist, twisting it a bit to loosen her grip on the knife. He was successful in the move and the knife fell harmlessly to the ground. He jumped back from her, a little too far than he intended, and waited again.

Myre finally let go, annoyed that she was being toyed with. At full-blood, she was faster than any other being alive; not even a demon could match her speed, let alone a half-breed of any kind. Her eyes actually bulged for a second at the onset, as she pushed herself to the limits of sanity; everything she had left went into both feeding the fire she'd set and into controlling it as best she could, a feat worthy of note anywhere.
d**ning the weapons, she brought her natural set out; longer, thiner, scalpel-sharp claws extended from her hands, more terrifying than the smaller, more curved claws that she'd exhibited earlier, and far more deadly as she knew how to wield them. Blazing like a rocket-driven bat out of Hell straight for Kraven, she feinted at the last second, bringing the claws within an inch's reach of his stomach, missing on purpose, then pivoted and dodged away before he could recover.
Bounding over his head, she landed in a crouch, moving at lightning speed all around him, trying to bring him into a dizzying spell of confusion before she would find an opening. And it seemed to work perfectly. As he spun in circles, seemingly trying to track her again, she lunged, full-speed, straight for his heart; even at the lowest power rating, such an attack had debilitating and crippling powers. Myre was at full strength, her extra blood nearly spent. It was all or nothing, and it looked as though she were the winner... at least it seemed that way...

Now he had a problem on his hands. She was, what he assumed, on a full frenzy. This was to fast of him, while he was fighting in his 'normal' state. He wasn't yet ready for his own frenzy yet, he wasnt sure if he could control it. As he tried to keep track of his attacker, he was spell bound by the speed. A moment ago, she could have spilled his guts out on the dirt if she wanted, literally, but she didnt. This told him she was still in control.
Suddenly, while he was distracted, she went of his heart. He didnt have time to think or react. All he could do at the time, was turn as much as he could to avoid the direct blow. Her claws ended up deep in his left shoulder. He had a fraction of second before she would recover and get out of reach again. He would let that happen. In almost one fluid motion, he brought up his right fist into her exposed stomach, dazing her long enough to reach one of his knives with his wounded left hand and brought it up from his waist merely to have something if she lost control of this power now. What he didnt account for was that when he punched her, it was with such a force that it bent her chest forward, right in the path of the knife. Suffice to say she was unlucky it was a broad blade knife because it had cut through her clothes into her chest leaving a long and bloody gash from her chest to the right shoulder.
As he saw blood seep through her clothes, he realized what he had done...

Myre saw the attack too late, her eyes widening immediately before d**n near impaling herself on a rock-solid fist. She'd bit into his shoulder, but the force of his punch pushed it right out, stopping her in her tracks. She barely felt his knife; she was in too much pain as it was to process any more pain.
Unable to move or even breath for a full minute, she simply sat there, her ribs holding her on Kraven's still-outstretched fist as she tried to sort out just what had happened. Suddenly, and extremely violently, her stomach purged, spewing steaming-hot blood all over Kraven and herself as she finally slid off, gasping for breath as she fought to stay alive and conscious. The chain mail he had bought her was trashed, a long gash from almost the center of her left breast all the way over to her shoulder leaking blood grantuously. Worse yet, she continued emptying her belly, unable to keep any of her hard-earned blood down anymore.
The smell of half-processed lifeblood reeked in the air, her newly-bought clothes stained with the precious life she had taken from that girl earlier in the day so casually. Myre just laid there on her back, retching until she was in dry heaves, and even then they didn't stop
Her hunger didn't even register as she counted the wounds: two broken ribs, the least of her problems; her stomach and the organs immediately surrounding it (diaphram, liver, intestines, bladder, possibly her uterus and other sexual organs), which had been pulverized, or at least ruptured, in the punch, in turn causing a massive level of internal bleeding of what little blood she had left; those stomach muscles that had been around those organs, and were now little more than meaty chunks; her backbone, which had been snapped in two around the impact zone and crushed in the fault middle along with her gut organs, although not nearly as bad; finally, of course, her chest, which was actually starting to heal a tiny bit until she'd thrown up...
She swore with what little breath she had; she swore at Kraven, she swore at herself for having not seen such an obvious plan, cursing every angel and demon in heaven and Hell by at least a hundred different names... It didn't calm her down, but did manage to kill off her frenzy, which already had no extra blood to work from, as she'd either purged it all or used it in the latest battle.
"How..." she cried weakly, "how can... I... be beaten... by... a half...ling.... d**n...it...This shouldn't have... happened... this shouldn-" She was interrupted by another dry heave, but her message was clear; she hated not being in control, in power, but most of all, she hated being weak... she hated it more than anything else. "Please... kill...me... I don't... want to... suff...suf..su...." Mirandl could not get the last word out as she passed into darkness, still breathing but barely on that fine edge of life... Everything hurt so badly that it calmed her, as she thought she was surly going to pass on, going to a place without her meager aches and pains...
Unfortunately, Fate had a cruel sense of humor...

The sounds would give him nightmares, if he could manage to sleep after this at all. It was combined sound of the knife moving through the air and the crushing sound of the bone. Knowing it was him who had done this to her made it much worse. He stood there frozen in place as he saw Myre stare at her wounds in surprise, falling down on the ground, lifeless. As he got near her again, he was too afraid to even touch her, afraid he would cause more harm. He barely heard what she was trying to say. She was asking him to kill her! She passed out before she could complete her sentence. He feared she was already dead. He slowly checked her pulse. It was weak, barely there, but it was there. He knew he had broken her back with that punch. But there was no way he could leave her here in the open.
He looked around, unsure what to do. He collected all their weapons as quickly as he could, removed his cloak. Her wound had stopped bleeding, either because she didn't have any blood left in her or she was already healing. He hoped it was the latter. He wrapped her body in his cloak and picked her up. He started walking slowly towards the town.
As he walked, he kept his eyes on her, taking in every moment, what he had done. He had never felt this kind of guilt before. He had willingly hurt, almost killed the only person he loved. He whispered as he entered the town, "Please Myre... live. Dont you die like this. I will be lost without you. Please, stay with me..."
In a few minutes he was in her room, with everybody out in the town watching him wondering what had happened. He set her down on the bed carefully, removing her blood soaked, ripped shirt. She was in a very bad condition. There was only one thing to do.
He took out the same knife he had used on Myre before and cut his wrist at the veins. With one hand he opened her mouth and let his blood flow into it, hoping she would not choke on it.

Mikeal had found shelter, "That demon was surely someone to fight... Bad ass as hell, but nothing alike Adrian Faust..." He spoke to himself as he got patched up and layed in bed to rest safely... This was the second safest place in town, everyone working here worked to keep their kinds alive and while doing so they also protected the people with'in the First-Aid shelter even if it was a human guarding a demon the human wouldn't let go to easily...
*Hm... Adrian is in the City, I fear not his excistens... Just he prescense!* Mikeal thought to himself as he fell asleep.

Adrian busted into city!
Adrian got stunned by an presence! *Mikeal Arcadia!?* Adrian thought as he was going high speed on his Motorcycle!
"Hehe interesting!" Adrian said to himself and saw creature appear infront of him!
*They don't look nice! Maybe they wanna get ass kicked!* Adrian thought and drew both his firearms!
He aimed with his Costum Desert Eagle for the weaker beings shooting them down one by one as they began to rush towards him, the same time Adrian shot with shotgun picking down a few!
He knew this was going to happen.. it always does when he comes around a new town! Adrian putted away his firearms into it's respective holsters, as he still wasn't holding onto the bike he opened the gastank, he rose up and took a steady grip of his bike! as he came closer to the running creatures summoned a fire in his hand and litted the fumes from the gastank, he began to burn like hell after short seconds he jumped off the bike rolling on the ground getting beated up since he was going in 120mph!
The bike crashed into the bunch of creatures and exploded!
Adrian then looked towards the explosion!
"f**k yeah eat sh** and die motherf**kers!" Adrian said smiling cruely!
"Shut up Adrian... without me you wouldn't have dared to.. I'm the reason you survived the crash a**hole!" Adrian's demon yelled!
"No for f**k sake... I'm just a bad ass human kickin creature a**holes!" Adrian responded pissed off and he got to his knees and putted the left foot on the ground!
Standing in that position he picked up a f*g and litted it with a fire from his finger!
"hehe.. that surely did it... wonder if Arcadia have noticed us!" Adrian said to the demon as the demon made took over half of his body making his right side's skin darker with a glowing red eye!
The demon had a cruel smile, and laughed slightly!
"First of all it's not just you... but we're in the town and second of all, everyone who knows us must know we're in town now!" the Demon responded!
"Okey sorry mate... just an old habbit to not being stucked to you!.. I mean.. 53 years of being possed haven't really changed my personality!" Adrian said smiling while inhaling another piece of the f*g!
"Well shall we walk?!" the Demon asked Adrian..
"Sure thing!" Adrian responded and rose up completely! He drew his shotgun and reloaded it with shells and putted it back and the same thing with his Desert Eagle!
He saw a burning creature walking towards them as Adrian and his demon walked towards the town and the creautre itself!
They came up close and Adrian tightened his fists!
"You or me!?" Adrian asked the demon with a cruel smile!
"You..." The Demon responded and fell back into Adrian turning Adrian's skintone back to normal, as Adrian charged a bad ass punch onto the creatures face, the creature's face spilled a great amount of blood and it's pupils went up confirming he died at the same second he received the punch and flew about 2 meters!
"Weakling!" Adrian stated annoyed as he continued to walk as a cold blooded bad ass!

During the several minuites the vampires were fighting, Ikoret managed to make a pile of knocked out bodies. "Well, thanks for the fun guys...let's do it again some time." He was in a very good mood at the time. He was singing a song from some old, unnamed band as he walked up to his room, and he was singing rather loudly...... That's when he noticed a few drops of blood on the floor. He immediately shut his mouth and drew his katana. He walked over to Myre's door and knocked, "Myre? You alright in there? There's a bit of blood on the floor out here on the floor.....I just want to make sure it's nothing to worry about....."

The blood woke her up with a start. Of course, she couldn't move her stomach at all, and so she was stuck in bed having nearly drowned to death in a pool of blood. Coughing, Myre realized as she tried to open her eyes that she couldn't see a thing; she was completely blind... quickly though, she stifled that thought, and tried to accept the blood that was pouring into her mouth.
However, her stomach purged again, and her mouth drooled blood in surges. She couldn't stop it, and it made her break down, even as she felt the insides of her healing. Myre cried; no longer because of this pain, but because she knew that she could never live this down, that she would be forcefully indebted to Kraven for life... that was, like, the next two-hundred years for her! The thought of it turned her stomach even more, but she resisted getting rid of any more and instead swallowed what little hadn't rolled off the sides of her face.
Suddenly, however, she felt a different kind of pain, something she had never experienced before; it was as if her body was growing, from infancy to adulthood in minutes. Except here, she was changing internally, but the metaphor described the kind of pain she was going through; her bones were setting, the muscles reconnecting, the internal bleeding had ceased, and her organs were quickly repairing. Myre couldn't grasp it, she simply couldn't, and after it was all said and done, she gave up on explanations, theories, and philosophy... she gave up on trying to demystify this mystery, and simply accepted it.
Her body changed, she could feel it, as if the changes he had gone through not long before she was now feeling... although ten times more painful. Her blood actually began reproducing itself and soon she was full. Her strength was back, but even moreso; she soon grabbed hold of the arm above her and began licking the wound, surprisingly hungry for more. Whatever Kraven's blood was made of, she wanted it... more than he could ever have. Her breathing returned to normal as the healing ceased, and she opened her eyes...
Oh, how she opened them... everything was clear as daylight, and even from where she laid, Myre could make out individual hairs on his face, pores on his skin, and even the separate parts inside his iris... She looked across the room, and even in the total darkness she could see the texture of the paint, the individual grains of the wooden table, the tiny speckles of the marble counter top in the bathroom... "Kraven..." she said softly, still wide-eyed in wonder as she reached up to touch his face, "You have no idea... no idea of what I see now..." Tears rolled down her cheeks; she didn't know what to say, what to react to.
She wanted to curse, to scream, to kiss him all the same... all she could do was cry... The two were closer to one than any couple should ever be, but she loved it, she loved the new feelings she had inside her, the new sensations that were arising every minute; the closest metaphor to describe it was opening an old, well-read story book, and discovering something completely new about it that one should have seen before... Myre had thought she knew everything about her body, but she had been dead wrong... her body was something more than she could handle, and Kraven was to thank for that... Mirandl ran out of reasons to cry, and simply began crying as she held onto his still-bleeding arm, tenderly licking at it as she cried, no longer interested in feeding...
She heard the knocking at the door, and was surprised to hear Ikorit's voice coming from the other side. Wiping the blood off herself as best she could (using the bed sheet of course, she managed to walk up to the door and crack it open. There he stood, bright as daylight, but Myre sensed that something was different about him too... "Um... Things got a little... out of hand up here" was her explanation before she practically shut the door in his face, childish giggling clearly coming from the other side... When was the last time she'd giggled so much?

"What in the nine hells was that about?" He muttered, heading for his room and beginning to pack some of his clothes. "Obsticles or not.....I can find help on the way there....." After he was finished he laid down on his bed and went to sleep. (Sorry about the short post, but I couldn't think of too much to add.)
