He had forgotten about those razor claws. I guess those would be a better way to stop him, or at least bring him back in control again.
He listened carefully to what Myre had to say. It was actually calming his rising frenzy, the wait. He saw how badly he had done last night, biting into her bone and muscle, probably the reason for her elevated pain. He realized he had a lot to learn still in the ways of a vampire. He was also glad that there was somebody so caring, so tolerant to teach him. His love and respect for Myre was growing every day.
The blood on her hand had strengthen his urges suddenly. It took everything he had to not go for her right then. He realized he 'needed' her, something he thought he would never feel towards another vampire again. As she drew closer, his vision was beginning to blur a bit at the edges, a sign his frenzy was returning. But this time he was ready. *Slowly this time...* he reminded to himself. He concentrated on getting the place of the bite right, like she had shown him.
This time again, he bit down as gently as before, thankfully at the right place on the neck. The new taste of the blood, human blood he guessed, suddenly made him go over the edge, and for an instant his speed increased, a sharp pain in his arm made him realize this and after some effort he slowed down considerably, sucking at intervals rather than how he did it last time. He put one of his hands around her waist and the other on her neck on the other side, pulling her body closer to his, as he gained control of his urge at least for the time being. He could feel Myre pulse rise as he drew blood slowly...

The feeling was even greater than the last time it started out, as Kraven had apparently hit her soft spot. However, he started going over the edge a little bit; she let him know that with a handful of razor-sharp handful of claws clamping down on his right arm. "Good..." she said quietly, her pulse rising just as it should while he brought himself under control, the feelings that rushed through her making her groan.
She felt his hands slip around her, and she complied, relaxing her arm and trusting him with her body. As she laid herself on his body, her mind kept wanting to wander, to think about something other than this, but she didn't allow it; she was the only one who could completely control herself, and that was only most of the time. Her bloody hand she used to brush through his hair, letting him know that she wasn't stopping him.
Myre's body could be drained for hours, pretty much as long as it took to end Kraven's hunger, but it was the rate of drain that mattered; too fast, and she would end up like she did the night before, a complete mess. She had to keep him controlled, as soon she wouldn't be able to and it would be him that she'd need to fully trust. Despite her nature of being a control freak, she found a strange comfort in letting someone else that she could trust do the work for once.
In a way, she felt like a mother nursing her child, except this child weighed somewhere around two hundred pounds and could crush a man's neck with a fraction of his strength. That was a prospect she needed to mind if she wanted to stay alive; keeping him well fed for now was the best way to do that. For a moment, she thought about telling him what she'd heard, but decided against it, vouching instead to do it later when neither needed to feed...

Once he got accustomed to the pace of the feeding, he started enjoying it. He was glad to see that Myre was more in control this time and conscious of the process. He wasnt sure yet how much he could drink but he was mindful of her pulse with his hand on her neck. If he felt it slow down even slightly beyond a normal rate, he would stop, or he will try to... He was still on guard on any new urges that might arise and was determined to stay in control of his body this time. He was amazed at how Myre had placed her life in his trust yet again, almost letting go.

(if he keeps this up i think we're just going to leave him behind >.> I know Grim is busy and all, but he could at least post some filler...)
Myre was still tense inside, but refused to show it or acknowledge it in any way, shape, or form outside her subconscious. It was a technique she had gotten from her foster mother, who had spent hours upon hours training Myre as a child, and she had passed on the technique to Myre involuntarily, namely because Myre was a very observant child. Just as with an animal, if even the slightest signal that fear is present things could get out of hand very quickly.
She continued encouraging Kraven, impressed with how he had so quickly gotten the technique down that had taken her much of a childhood to finally grasp. She felt him starting to gain on her, and pinched the back of his neck increasingly hard until he got it under control again; once he did, she went back to 'petting' his head, trying to get her own rush under control now.
Suddenly, she felt him bite down hard, and she let out a yelp, panicking for a second. Then she grabbed the back of his head and tried to forcefully remove him. If she could back off for a minute or two without him attacking her, she'd let him back, but this was a definite no-no, and maybe one she'd need to get used to noticing ahead of time...

Kraven also had his limits to the control he could keep on the now overwhelming urges. His body was using up the blood at the rate he fed now. It was almost like his instincts were shouting at him from within to let go and enjoy it. It was like a guard sleeping on watch. He knew he shouldn't and he thinks he wont but shuts his eye just for a moment and...
He wouldn't drink any faster so his body involuntarily responded to the urge by biting down a bit harder. He understood the tug and the sudden increase in the blood follow in the jugular under his hand in her neck, and retreated. But again and again the urge grew within him tiring his mind even as his body strengthened, a dangerous combination.
His mind had wandered for a moment, when suddenly he registered a yelp close to his ear and Myre's attempt to pull his head back. She wanted him to stop. Now came the real test. Would he be able to stop or not...
His hands were twitching like he was fighting his body for control. He knew it had gone beyond the point when he could leave it up to her to force him back alone without any help. *Think about her, you are going to kill her* he thought. It certainly helped a bit. With the combined effort of both, he was able to release her for a moment, finally relaxing his mind, a mistake!
He suddenly lurched up as she was getting up going for her throat again...

Myre knew those eyes; the eyes of a predator... she didn't want to do this, but Kraven had obviously let himself wander for a second, and even if it hurt him Myre came first. With enough force to crush a human's windpipe, Myre delivered a painful jab with her elbow into Kraven's Adam's Apple, pushing him back into the bed, keeping her forearm and elbow where it was to keep him from moving. Her claws bit into his chest, probably driving him even more mad, but it proved her point that she could and would harm him should he continue frenzying.
"Fight it..." she whispered to him, her eyes pleading for him to get himself under control; if he didn't, she'd have to end his time right then and there. She held the bloody set of claws above him, ready to strike down at any moment; it was the rules that she followed, that anyone who went berserk would need to be put down for the betterment of everyone else. "Kill off your frenzy, or I'll have to kill you here and now... You know I don't want to, but I'll have to if you cannot stop it yourself..." Her words carried an edge, and her claws the meaning as well as the means. She had self-preservation instincts to worry about, and she'd be d**ned if she let them down.
Kraven was getting stronger, she could feel it... just in the short few hour's spans she'd been around him, he'd grown so much. It was as she feared; if he didn't control himself, he could overpower her and drain her dry. God only knew what would happene after that...

The pain was making it worse. It was becoming harder and harder for him to keep himself under control. The more injuries he received, more his instincts grew and his mind got distracted by the pain. He was concerned that if she didnt stop, he would start getting angry and then his mind will start working his body and the instincts and then even he didnt know what he would be capable of. After all he had never had this kind of power at his disposal before. He realized it was his love for her that stood between a complete frenzy and his current half resisted state of frenzy.
He had to chain the beast right now or he might die right now, by her hands. He closed his eyes again, like he did when it had started. He thought of everything that had resulted when he lost control before, he thought of the lychens. Slowly but surely, he could feel his body relax and his wounds already healing. His mind still raced but the urges were dying down, now much easier to resist.
His powers were bordering Myre's now, or had exceeded them already, he didn't know yet. Something he should not have while he was still unable to control the urges fully. Otherwise, the next time, this happened.... *No, this will never happen again*, he thought to himself.
When he was in control again, he nodded at Myre who had been watching him closely for any sign of aggression.

His frenzy had started to force Myre's hand, as her eyes were starting to glow with her own frenzy. But before she could unleash it, he'd already calmed down. She was scared of him now; scared that she didn't have the control she so desperately wanted, the feelings of helplessness returning from so long ago. His powers were succeeding hers, and she too began to realize that only his unwillingness to harm her, his love, was what stood between the beast inside him, and herself. Whatever sort of monster she'd created, it was stronger than she could reign at the moment, and almost certainly too much for the half-breed mind to comprehend fully at the time.
In no way did she want him to become more powerful than she was; it just didn't seem fair to her that she'd worked a lifetime to perfect her fighting skills, but only a few days for him to get ahold of his own. Still, as she backed off the seemingly controlled Kraven, Myre could feel the beast underneath him, and wondered how long it would be until he let go of himself again. It was a frightening prospect, especially given that his strength now at least matched her own. Myre thought this would be easy, but now she would have to train his body as well...
She looked up at the curtains; red splashed across them, signaling that the day was nearly at an end. Perfect timing she told herself. "Kraven..." she started, her voice low as she made a poor attempt to sound seductive, her throat still scratchy from her years of fighting, "I think its time we started breaking that beast into his reigns... We can't have you frenzying every time you feed, now can we?" She got up, getting her clothes back together as she checked her weapons also. Tonight would be one to test the limits, and afterwards perhaps a meal they could both enjoy if things went well...

Mikeal had it all figured out, "Man... You're strong, but how does your brain really work?" He asked the demon, who in response got confused and coutions, "What did ya do?" it asked Mikeal as Mikeal putted a smile upon his lips...
"So you seriously didn't notice?" Mikeal said drying off some blood from his mouth,* Mikeal jumped up into the air and swiftly aimed a kick at it's head and made it, following the kick a brutal combo by a dodge and landed behind the demon and kneeled him in the back also ripping his back with his steel buttons from his shirt purpously, he started to bleed and it ran down softly and perhaps all un-noticed...*
That was what had happened, Demon, ain't you feeling tired? A little too worn out, well... I bet your breath is heavier than usuall... Right? The demon nodded and Mikeal continuesly held back his own pain... "If you don't wanna wear yourself out to death lay down and admit your loss..." Mikeal said, *That is my only chance...* he thought to himself, the demon was still and thought for a long while, "I agree, so what did ya do?" the question came to Mikeal as he sat down and explained, he had won the respect of a demon, but for what purpouse, it wasn't like Mikeal to do so...
"Well, great fight but remember you're dead the next time we fight..." Mikeal spoke and left the area towards a First Aid shelter...

Sitting in the corner of the tavern draining a bottle of brandy, he was almost stunned when he heard someone come up behind him. He wasn't after he heard what the man had to say, "Get out of my seat you little bastard!" Ikoret sighed and put on the half mask he normally wore, "You going to make me?" He stood up and faced the man, a brute by human standards, but nothing too special about him. "Yeah, I think I am!" He bellowed, trying to shove Ikoret out of the way in vain. When the man didn't budge he tried to punch him in the face, but the second he got his hand back to start the punch he bent over in pain as Ikoret kicked him in the groin. As he went down, Ikoret hit him with a vicious upper cut that sent him stumbling back to knock over a table filled with other patrons and their mugs. The four of them advanced angrily. The first one tried to tackle him to the ground, but his plan failed when Ikoret used his own momentum to flip him onto the table behind him. Seeing this, the other three charged.

Myrg rested. Through the past day, he and the few surviving werewolves had moved back to the temple. The village was probably lost - for now. He could come back later. Right now, he just relaxed with his modest library, reading through some new volumes which cultists outside his temple had sent him. There was even a book from the village he had tried to conquer. It was not very interesting - it was a rather dull treatise on focusing magic powers, but that wouldn't do him much good. Apparently, there was a project to apply this, but it was moved away just before human civilization collapsed, to a quite close city.
Only when he had put the book away and readied himself for some sleep, did Myrg realize the importance of what he had read.
The Stone of Alexander was within his reach

"Myre, I don't think I should feed anymore... for the time being at least. I realize I am getting harder to control, even by you." he said as he stood up from the bed and collected his weapons which he had kept out of reach for once in his life. *Even though I am still hungry* he thought to himself but didn't say it. It seemed to him, he was feeding to make up for all those years he didn't as a vampire.
He then suddenly remembered something. "You must have been very hungry to go to feed in the middle of the day today. Sorry for what I did last night again..."

"Stop it" she stated flatly, "you can't control what you've got on you right now. And even if you do want to go out, I am not letting you go anywhere without me." That wasn't a statement of love- the last thing she needed was someone in this town ending up dead with two marks on their neck or arm or wherever he could get to. Kraven was a beast that was barely under control at the moment; there was no way in hell that Myre could consciously let him out of her sights.
She ignored his second statement and grabbed her gears. "There's some training that I can start, but you'll have to keep it going if ya want to survive and stay sane. It's painful, but with practice, that pain becomes strength, and in turn that strength becomes control. You'll probably get scared, but that's something we'll work on together." She kissed him on the cheek, being mindful of him as she turned her back. Should he give in now, she'd place him flat on his back and drag his unconscious ass out to the training area. She knew he was still hungry; hell, she could feel herself starting to wane. But it was necessary for them both to understand just how powerful the two had become; a duel would prove that easily enough. And even if Myre lost or burned too much blood, she could find more easily enough as the town moved about a bit more freely at night when she'd slain the first lychen.
As she put on the assorted weapons, her mind watched the up-coming battle. It would be as close to a simulated one-on-one hunt as she would allow, and she'd be the one to initiate, and hopefully end, it. It was risky, but nothing at this point was going to come about for free; she was willing to start taking risks. Of course, if she got incapacitated, she could end up dryer than a desert if Kraven were still unable to control himself...
"I'd suggest that you just follow me for now," Myre stated, flatly as she had been for a while here, "and most certainly ignore any urges you get. You will feel them; this town is 90 percent human, and your senses will probably be going nuts as soon as you step outside. Your vision should change out there too, one nice thing about being a night creature. Just follow me, or my scent, either one works. We're going out for a bit here... if you start feeling hunger, kill it if you can. If you can't, tell me... just don't go attacking me from behind or anything, as I'm liable to kill you on instinct..."

The fight Ikoret got in sparked somthing, that was apparent by the fights breaking out all over the tavern. He just laughed and clocked some poor fool in the head to send him flying through the front door. He had always enjoyed a good fight..... He noticed in the corner of his eye that the man he had smashed in the head had not only taken out the door, but had nearly dropped it on a couple passing by the tavern.

He got the drift of what she was driving at. She wanted a duel, a fight to test herself against him. He was itching to try out his new found powers as well. This would be as safe a way as any. He nodded as he listened to her instructions. He checked the window to see that the sun had set completely by now bringing back the darkness he had gone to like. As he slung his sword over his back, it felt much lighter.
He picked up his gift from the table she had forgotten to put on. He bent down slightly to kiss her as he put it around her neck again. "You really shouldn't forget this, especially when I am around." He then added after a pause. "You lead the way, I will follow."
