As his heart began to slow down and hi vision beginning to clear of the excitement and the rush he got from the feeding, he realized his transformation had quicken after this incident. He could feel the changes happening inside him. He had not drank his fill yet he felt much more stronger than he had ever felt before.
He realized it was part of the acceptance to actually feed off someone, once he passed the barrier, his body responded readily accelerating his transformation. He would now truly belong somewhere, and not just in his mind.
He felt he could hold her forever like this. He knew one thing for sure, he would never leave this vampire, someone who had given him so much so readily, trusted her life with him, all the while bearing the immense pain that should have been his.
"Thank you..." he whispered and kissed her again replicating her gesture this time with his teeth.
As he slowly pulled back he pulled something out of his pocket. He smiled, "I have something for you." He pulled out a belt like piece of chain mail, molded mysteriously on one side to a soft, smooth hide. He placed it on her neck, licking off the little blood that remained from the bite, tying it around her neck.
"Something to protect what is more precious to me than my own life... you."

Tears came to Myre's eyes... She had just meet this half-breed, but it had taken only two nights and one drunken episode before she had fallen head over heals for him. "Thank you... No one's ever given me anything before... not like this at least." Mysteriously, her strength was returning faster than normal, as she was now able to sit up without feeling dizzy, and speak without interruptions. "I... I can't tell you how much your words mean to me... I've never felt this way before, towards anyone. You... you spared me before, when I was fighting back every urge I could muster. I thought I was only returning a favor but... It seems we are both more deeply indebted to each other than we thought."
Abruptly, she giggled, something that she hadn't done in so long... "Its funny... Just last night you were a stranger who'd dragged me back to my room somehow and stuck his hand out telling me to bite it. And now..." She gently kissed him, holding the moment as long as she could. It was straining, but she didn't notice the pain anymore. The void in her life was slowly being filled, filled by a passing stranger who, either by pure coincidence or Fate itself, had offered himself to her. What a fit her parents would be having right now, but she cared not. Myre's heart and body belonged only to Kraven, and she would never leave someone who'd shown such kindness to her, had shown such love to her heart... had given her a feeling she would not forget as long as she lived.
As the sun started its daily grind upwards, Myre fell asleep in Kraven's arms, her lips locked in his like a statue, her eyes closing slowly as she gave in to the darkness and separation. This time, however, it would only be for a little while before she could wake up to see him again, the only one she could truly call her own...

Kraven just lay there with Myre in his arms sleeping peacefully. Even though he knew she was fast alseep, he whispered in her ear, "Sleep well my Merandl. You are safe."
He then closed his eyes observing his transformation from within, always on guard for any urges that may suddenly surface. He could feel his senses growing even more sharper, his strength increasing slowly all the while his eyes and skin constantly changing as time passed.
While he waited for the darkness to fall, resting, his thoughts went back to the lychens they had encountered. The bite hadn't had any effect on Myre and he felt something was different about these lychens. Maybe it had something to do with that demon...

Mikeal woke up slowly, slightly dazed, it had been a hard night though his money had come in handy getting information, not about any sertain places, just a few important people around in the city...
He was just sitting up when a familiar face comfronted him, "Old geezer, waddya want?" Mikeal asked as he stepped up and started to dress himself up... "Mikeal, I know of you yes... Don't look so suprised... I warned you though and right now I am giving you a fair offer." Mikeal was suprised to find that the man knew of his name, though that surely could've have been bought as info last night aswell. "I am listening." Mikeal said as the old geezer smiled, "Very well, my name is Tsume, I've guarded this towns precious secrets among those the Stone of Alexander..." Mikeal's eyes widened and his ears sharpend, "I am willing to share my purpouse if YOU are willing to do me a... What shall I say, favor?" the man named Tsume spoke, "What?" Mikeal asked as Tsume smiled, "Slay the Sin-Beasts for me..." Mikeal smiled, "Gladly, I am a demon hunter, a such who takes down Vampires and Lycans as well for a good prize." He spoke and swung his spear across his shoulders, "So when can I start and where to?" he spoke and walked towards the window and litted a cigarette...

(another long one ;D)
as Myre slept, her mind stayed active, trying to sort out all that had happened recently. That human she'd seen, the half-demon, that f**k-ugly demon... and above all her newly formed relationship with Kraven, and the changes they both were going through. She had always heard the rumors about what happened to those vampires who gave their own blood to other vampires, and they'd always made it out to be sackreligious, improper, and morally wrong, only to be done in the most dire of situations, and most CERTAINLY not simply for pleasure. However, she also knew that it was commonly practiced between lovers. But how could something so wrong feel so d**n good? she wondered herself, still trying to figure out just how long everything had taken...
The sun was just creeping over the horizon when she invited him in, and by the time she'd drifted off, it was at least a third of the way into the sky. At this time of year... only forty-five minutes? It'd seemed like days though... And he lost control so easily, if he hadn't backed off... Myre realized why it was condemned so much; most vampires didn't have self-control in their dictionary, and if they were just let loose upon each other and started biting total strangers, then an entire population could be reduced to just a few overly-strong vamps that couldn't stand up to an entire flood of lychen, or worse yet, demons...
Strength in forced numbers... it makes sense I guess... As the day wore on she slept more peacefully than she had in years; not since she'd left home had she had this much rest at one time. And probably not for a long time to come, darling she reminded herself, so enjoy it while it lasts. At least I'll still have Kraven...
Just that mere thought woke her up, as her heart had started racing. She sat up, looking around; her eyes adjusted to the mid-day light that filtered into the room through the curtains, and she saw Kraven passed out next to her. Running her hand gently through his hair, her heart fluttered again. She felt like a child with her pet, although this pet was also the new-found love of her life, and if she could help it, he would stay that way. She couldn't imagine anything getting between them at this time, although more than likely something would come up. And she'd like to think that she was ready for whatever that would be...
Unable to go back to sleep, she was driven out of bed by her hunger. Being careful not to wake the sleeping Kraven, she tiptoed into the bathroom to wash up before leaving the room. After washing the blood out of her various scraps of covering, she affixed the still-wet rags to her skin, wrapping them around to cover as much as she could.
A pair of goggles she'd gotten the day before finished the head part, and a pair of leather gloves finished off the rest of it. She hated fighting in long pants, especially during midday, but if she could help it she'd stay out of such trouble. All she wanted was a simple meal, nothing more than that. She'd heard stories that the sun burned everything in vampires, even their bones, and she didn't accidentally want to get caught up in that. However, she knew she couldn't wait either; her strength might have returned for a good part, but she was still a bit shaky in her walk, much like a mildly drunk person would have a slight stagger in their steps. She needed to feed, even if it meant doing it in midday from the shadows.
Besides, if she were going to help Kraven get over his issues with biting humans, human blood in her system would be the easiest way to do that. She was his only partner for now, and probably would be for a while to come; she doubted that he had gotten rid of his human mentalities and 'morals', a common problem with turned ones, although most didn't hang onto them for this long by what she'd heard. Then again, he was the first person she'd seen who was turned and not naturally born a half-breed, which was actually common as human concubines received protection from other vampires in exchange for their blood and their wombs, both of which were apparently smaller sacrifices when compared to having their lives taken.
Myre couldn't imagine living like that, but she doubted Kraven could, let alone would, do that to her; he was too kind, too naive to do that, and just too plain caring of Myre. To an extent, she felt the same way, although she would extort him if it meant that they both could live better... Myre wasn't one to mess with morals, but if opportunity presented itself she wasn't one to turn her back on it. Right now, however, she was hungry. Enough thinking; it was time to hunt for a different kind of prey...

Things were getting colder. He was in a dark room and cold for one of the few times in his life.....It meant that he was in the presence of his father. He looked around, seeing nothing but the pitch black around him, "This is a dream, it has to be a dream....." He muttered as it slowly got darker. "Oh you wish...." A deep voice said behind him before he felt somthing hit him from behind, hard. He hit the ground and was tempted to lay there for a moment before he turned around and looked at the demon. The thing was over twice his size and it's skin had a blueish tint to it. It had the ears of a wolf and wore some unusual pelt around it's waist in adition to the dark pants. The thing that stood out the most was the things crystaline teeth, looking like the very ice that he controled. "You disapoint me as usual....." It took a step closer as Ikoret drew his dagger, throwing it only to have it plucked out of the air. "What do you want from me you bastard?!" He shouted seeing the attack fail. He drew his katana and started attacking. The demon blocked the swipes of his katana with a single finger, "I want you to obey!" it shouted in a booming voice, kicking him a good distance away. "You know of the stone of Alexander, and you know what it can do for us....don't you?" "I know what it can do for you!" "Good, you're not as foolish as I thought. Now.....you're going to get me that stone, aren't you?" Ikoret growled, "Go back to hell, I'm never going to help you!" "Oh, but you are my son.....I know that you've been having....troubles recently with your powers....keep using them in this way and they will destroy you. Surely you know this..." "What does this have to do with the stone?" "The fact that it can benefit both of us, you can use it to learn control of your powers, I can use it to escape. Think on it, after I leave you a gift......." Ikoret felt his hand becoming numb for a moment and watched in horror as it turned blue just before it started to freeze over and turned crystaline.
In his bed he woke up screaming. He looked around nervously before realizing that it was just a dream. Remembering the last few moments before he woke up, he looked at his hand and resisted the urge to faint. It looked as if it was made of pure ice.

Kraven had fallen asleep when he heard a scream that woke him up. As he looked around, he saw that Myre's things were missing and so was she. As he got up, he felt he was a stranger to his body. It had changed so much over the last hour or so. Except the drained colour of his skin, one couldn't see any difference. It was how he felt. He was actually enjoying the newly gained power and the changes he felt were almost coming to a stop.
He thought of checking out the source of the scream. He was sure the half breed, Ikoret, Myre had called him, was not foolish enough to harm Myre leaving him alive and specially while he was in the next room! He walked to the door, then came back and picked up his weapons as he walked to the room next door. He thought for an instance whether to knock or just walk in. Neither was a good idea. So he rapped his fist on the door as he opened it giving enough notice to avoid an accidental attack but not enough to give him time to prepare for an intentional one.
He was slightly amused and confused by the sight that greeted him. He saw Ikoret holding up his hand in front of him which seemed to be affected by a horrible frostbite... hell, it was frozen like ice!
"Are you... What happened to you? Did Myre come by here?"

Mikeal had paid good attention to the man, appearently if Mikeal was as good as the rumours claimed, he would be able to kill them one by one... But what if this all was a set up?
Mikeal walked out the door and bumbed into a guy without even excusing himself, though Mikeal didn't realise the man turned around and took a good look at him, "Human, Apologize to your superior!" The strong muscular male demon yelled to him as Mikeal turned around, "Sorry, didn't know you were such a woz who couldn't take a shoulder to shoulder thing..." Mikeal said mockingly and continued to walk his way out...
Reaching the outer door of the Dead Angel's Tavern Mikeal stopped, "If it is a settleing you want, lets make it outside!"
There where about 20 different being outside, vampires, lycans, humans and demons all around the 2 in the middle, Mikeal and that strong demon face to face, "No weapons if I may ask for it?" Mikeal said smiling, "Fine whatever with me..." the demon replied as Mikeal made his knuckles crack out sounds and shaking himself off before going for his neck to warm up.
"You know, you've made a mistake demon..." Mikeal said and got ready to fight!

He was breathing heavily for a moment before he got the nerve to answer, "No, she wasn't here.....as for what happened to my hand, that's none of your busness....." He said, still stunned by the whole enchounter. He noticed that he was still bruised underneath the clothes also, meaning that he really had been with his father and it wasn't a dream. He wondered how the demon had been able to contact him, seeing as he was locked in hell before he realized and nearly went pale. He was just dragged into a part of his fathers domain! "Uh....would you mind leaving?" He said, realizing that most of his forearm was ice as well. "I have to look this over....." He stepped into the bathroom shutting the door behind him and looked it over, stunned that he could see right through it. He could move it just as well as his regular hand, and he found that he could manipulate it as well. He made it into a set of claws before turning it back to normal again. "Well....looks like you came through for me.....for once..." He muttered, putting a glove over it so it and the long sleved trenchcoat would hide it.

Myre slowly let go of the young woman she had just finished quietly feeding from in the shadows behind a building. As she let the young woman down, she could feel her body adapting to the new blood, as if just that one session were changing her. The animal blood certainly had halted her whole body's growth process, as it was like candy and junk food; one could survive on it, but growth was d**n near impossible, and eventually that human would probably die because of lack of nutrients needed to keep the body going.
She had actually over-fed on purpose, anticipating that Kraven would still be hungry; even though he d**n near drained her completely last night, she figured that the taste of human blood was what drove him there. If that was the case, she wasn't going to allow him out of her sight anywhere for a while, afraid that he could go wild and do something that would shatter his mental state completely; something along the lines of killing a young human would do that to someone who had formerly been one. Myre knew she'd be his blood-partner for a while now, so she decided that her training him to control the urges would be best, and that the same methods her adopted parents had used would work perfectly here too; if things began to get too harry, she'd push him off, forcefully if necessary. It would work until he was too strong for her... and that's when the real test begins she reminded herself.
Walking into the market after closing the girl's wound and laying her down carefully, Myre was looking for substance. It wasn't but two days ago that she wouldn't have been so gentle with the girl; it wasn't that she hated humans, its just that she didn't care that badly for her victim's wellbeing. After being treated like a ragdoll by someone she'd come to love, however, she gained a new-found appreciation for humans. To her, they weren't simply her toys to do with as she pleased, at least, not anymore; they were her only lifeline to growth, as she'd realized with Kraven, who had pretty much been starving himself on animal blood for so long. Even now its probably changing him drastically she thought as she moved amongst the vendors, looking for something tasty to pop in her mouth later, And the next time we fight, he'll definitely be stronger. He might even be-
A firm hand came down on Myre's shoulder, and she swore softly; she'd been so distracted that she hadn't noticed the person coming up behind her. As if reading her mind, a clean, steady voice came from behind her saying "Its alright ma'am, I tend to have that effect on people all the time." Whipping around, Myre faced a tall, immaculately suited man with a clean shave, and most notably dark glasses. "You see, I've been watching you for the past few days, and what I've seen impressed me." Myre growled, irritated that someone had been watching her, possibly seeing some things he shouldn't have, but she stopped herself from killing him; it wasn't just because she was in a crowded market with other innocents that could get hurt, but because she was confused about who this... man... was. She smelled something that was vaguely human, but he most certainly wasn't anything else... it was a mystery that intrigued her. "Most people who watch me are either innocents that aren't smart enough to distance themselves, or someone who's lookin' to get me out of the picture. Which one are you?"
To her surprise, the man threw back and laughed heartily; even stranger, no one stared at him, as if he didn't even exist. As he quieted down, the man replied coolly "I assure you, Mirandl, that I am neither of those. IN fact, if you would be willing, I have a contract to offer up to you. It involves a certain... relic from another time. A human legend if you will."
Myre was beginning to like this man less and less, and her face showed it; he knew too much, and somehow he was giving too little away. "Get to the point" she growled, irritated that the conversation was going nowhere fast, except to flaunt the point that the man was stalking her. "Ah, direct and to the point as always! Well, it involves the elimination of a few certain... beasts. The prize, along with more monetary value than you can imagine, is a relic known as the Stone of Alexander... the Blood of Sinners..."
Now, the money part Myre was interested in, but at the mention of the relic's name caught her attention in full. She had heard of that thing before, she knew she had; just what it was had slipped her mind. "When you say 'more than I could imagine', my imagination stretches quite far. Numbers; I need numbers." And she got some; the man leaned closer and whispered something into her ears, something that made her eyes bulge in shock. Satisfied, the man said "If you need me, the name is... Brian. So? How about it?"
Myre was in too much shock to talk; as Brian started to walk away, he shouted back "Your first assignment will take you to the ruins of New York... from there, it will depend upon how well you succeed or not. Take care, and don't take too long; someone else is already on that one's trail, and you might just be out of the race before things really get heated up!"
Myre turned away for a second, trying to think about what to say to that; when she turned back, the man was gone. Not in the distance, not hiding, just... gone... She couldn't feel his presence anymore, and there wasn't a trace that he'd been there. Myre was about to just forget the whole thing when she felt something in her hands; looking down at her clenched hand, she opened it up, revealing a piece of paper laying in the middle. It was a runic, something that allowed those who did not know magic or couldn't use it to do so once. She never carried any around with her, so...
The whole business was making her head spin; that kind of money didn't come easy, and the prospect of an actually good fight for once was enough to set her senses off. "Well, Mr. 'Brian', lets see how good your word is." Myre finished buying from the market, then headed back to the inn, all the while her mind wandering, thinking about this... 'Brian' character. She'd tell Kraven about it, and if he agreed to it, she'd take the lead; if things were as the man said they were, the couple were in for making some serious cash, as well as finding something of historical value that could make their names permanent in the history books. Myre liked that prospect... she liked it a lot...

Kraven was even more confused by Ikoret's reaction. He was actually ready for him to attack him but it seems he had a lot more important things on his mind. Relaxing a bit, he walked back to Myre's room. He lay down on the bed again, waiting for Myre to return. He must have sucked her dry for her to be hungry enough to go out midday to feed, at least that is how he was explaining her action. He just hoped she would get back soon.
As he closed his eyes again, he could still feel the changes taking place, but much slowly now. Also, he was hungry again. Now, however he was in a fix. He was not hungry for the human food anymore. Now, he was hungry for more blood. *I will see, how long I can control this urge*, he thought to himself. At this point, his mind was split as he knew the hunger would eventually grow out of his control if he didnt satisfy it at the right moment yet he was still a bit reluctant about attacking human. He was sure, a human would have died long before if he had been feeding on one instead of Myre.

(hot d**n! i just realized how long that last post of mine was x-x no wonder it took over a half hour...)
Myre skipped up the steps, feeling more light-footed than ever before. She couldn't quite understand all that was going on, but it certainly felt good. And because of that, she didn't want to think too much into it.
Knocking before she entered, Myre set the packages in her hand down on the floor beside the door, placing a newly-bought old mirror on the wall above the desk as she went to remove the rags from her body. The sun was on its way down by the time she'd come back, and she was beginning to feel a bit sleepy. Her thoughts went back to that girl as she pulled the goggles off... was she ok? Had Myre taken too much that time? She decided that thinking about it would only make things worse, so she promptly pushed aside any feelings she had about that issue and turned to Kraven, who was lying on the bed.
Setting the kukris on the desk quietly, she went over and sat on the bed, brushing the hair from her lover's eyes as she spoke softly "Are you ready for dinner, dear?" She felt silly saying it, but then again, everything she'd been doing lately was silly; the childish giggles, the skips in her step, everything was out of place for her battle-hardened, scar-crossed self, but she hadn't minded it at all. She felt at ease, and in love, with Kraven; everything else anymore was secondary. Untying the strings that held on the surprisingly light chain mail, she set it aside and began playing her part as 'teacher'.
"Now Kraven, I want you to listen to me... Last night, that shouldn't happen again. You bit down too far, and you even went into a frenzy while feeding; not only are those things the mark of an amateur, but they are also dangerous. That's why, until I think you know how to handle your urges and properly bite, I will be your blood partner. For now, I want you to hold back and not bite until I tell you so; it might be hard, but just listen to me. Understand?" Her voice was strict and to-the-point as she leaned forward awaiting his answer; however, she held back, not wanting to get close enough to him so that he could easily bite her until she was ready for him, but just enough that she was sure he could sense the human blood inside her body now. It was a simple test; if he could hold out and listen to her, she'd reward him rightfully. And if he couldn't... then he'd end up in a world of hurt until he did. Myre was fairly sure she was still stronger than him, but didn't want to test that if she could help it, not after she'd seen what he did to her last night...

Ikoret walked outside of his room, nearly stunned to find that he was back in darkness with his father standing across the room. "Have you considered my offer?" Ikoret sighed in resignation, "I may as well. This world is doomed anyway. No point in trying to stop the way things turn." He looked up and glared at the demon before continuing, "If not me, than another.....right?" "You catch on very quickly...." He said, tossing a map to Ikoret. "This is a map to the general area of the stone's location. I haven't been to the mortal world since they sealed me here over a century ago. I don't know the area, but you should , at least. As for the stone's exact location you're going to have to find that for yourself." "And after I find it, you're going to use that gift you gave me to open the gate, aren't you?" The demon chuckled evily for a moment, "Already figured out the dual nature of the gift? You're right, that's what it's for. Now, a final warning. The stone is well guarded, by both the seven sins and the others that seek it's power. You would do well to find some help." "Yeah, I would." He said, walking out of the door and into the hallway he was supposed to walk out into in the first place. He sighed, "I'd say d**n him, but he's already d**ned...." He walked past the vampire's door and heard part of what she was saying inside but ignored it for the most part, walking to the local tavern.

As soon as Myre, opened the door, he could smell new blood on her, human blood he guessed! *So thats where she went*. As she came closer, his instincts grew in strength, trying to overwhelm his mind. For an instant, he bared his teeth and was ready to push her down again, ready to feed. But even as he was losing control, he saw that she was alert and ready to stop her this time. But he still wasnt sure if she had got back all of her strength, or whether it was enough to stop him if he lost control. He hoped it would be.
He closed his eyes trying not to concentrate on the blood he could feel pulsing through her skin. As he listened to her instructions, he nodded still with his eyes closed. On the prospect of blood, his frenzy was returning again, now with stronger effects.
He finally opened his eyes as she stopped speaking, "I will try my best to control it this time Myre. But if you see me losing control, stop me before I drain you enough to lose any significant strength. The urges are stronger than before, I don't know how long would it be this time before I would gain back control if I lost it..."
He paused, then took one of his knives and handed it to Myre. "Do it if you have to...", he said smiling a little.

"Oh, I plan on stopping you" Myre commented. "I don't care how long you feed; its the speed that worries me more. Don't worry about me, just keep yourself under better control this time. After a while, you should be able to keep those urges from taking over as easily; they will never go away, but you can quiet them with practice." She was dragging it out as long as she could hold it; the urges from her body were as strong as they'd ever been, and it took most of what she had to keep it back. She hadn't fully recovered, but it was plenty enough to keep herself from fainting at the moment.
When he handed her a knife, she grasped it, possibly a bit too hard as it cut into her hand. She winced, but quickly moved the hand away to keep temptation at bay. "I don't think that'll be necessary" she stated, bringing the empty hand back and protruding a claw, carefully scraping it against his skin, then quickly pushed down hard to prove her point. If he did get out of hand, she'd make sure to put him in his place as best she could. "Now then..."
Once more she leaned forward, wiping the bloody hand on her shirt before she continued "Feeding is a science, an art, and it takes one many years to perfect. Even then, mistakes can happen. There is a place on the neck" she pointed with her two fingers at a spot on her neck, speaking quickly as she sensed urgency in Kraven's voice "that, if you can hit it, won't pierce muscle, but will let just as much blood as anywhere else. Too far forward, and you hit the jugulars, killing your victim. Too far back, and you get muscle and bone, as you found out last night. Be as gentle as you can while being firm; if your victim struggles too much, they could end up killing themselves. Aim right here if you can, but don't kick yourself if you miss."
"Lastly, don't ever let your guard down, ever. If you do, last night could happen at any time, and a human will never survive that. Please, just... trust me on that part..." She leaned forward, one hand on the bed and the other ready to defend herself if necessary. If he did things right, she wouldn't need to, but even if it tore half her neck out, she would defend her life rather than let him have his way with her; she liked being in control, and the thought of having to depend upon someone made her cringe. Last night, had it not been for the elated feelings she had, Myre would have been pushing him off as best she could. Even if it was futile, she would have fought back if it meant sparing herself pain... The wound from the night before began burning as she neared, and she could feel his thirst and knew that he had to have much more will power than she'd ever manage to muster if this were to work...
