The wind blew across the bay of San Francisco, bringing the salty air up into harbor where a dark figure stood on the pier watching the sunset. His dark eyes looking off into the distance, reflecting upon the battles that he had fought and what was now in store for him after having done something his master had told him never to do, challenge Zork the Prince of Darkness.
The battle flashed before the man's eyes and he closed them, knowing that he had now created an opening for a greater evil, but he could do nothing about that until the time came, what's done is done. Now he just wanted to find his master. The one who raised him as his own son and taught him the ways of the Martial Arts.
The man opened his eyes again, now focused on the present, and watched the horizon until the stars came out in the sky. the night air chilled the man, so he button up his leather coat and turned around to walk down the pier....

A female figure stood at the end of the peir, her being shrouded in a large coat, and her face covered by the shadow of a wide-brim hat. She hat her hands in her pockets, but those were surely gloved.
A gleam, like light shining off of a shiny stone, flashed accross the lenses of sunglasses which stood over where her eyes would be, and the collar of the coat was up to cover her mouth.
However, once the man she was following turned, she immediately ran for the Warehouses on the peir...

Ka'ze sighed as he walked alone at the pier.
He had been through so many battles recently, that he had wished to die in one, but he hadn't... it wasn't meant to happen yet...
His blade shined in the moonlight as he listened to the sounds of the surrounding waves, tuning out the rest of the world.

The figure stopped, looking off down the pier having caught a glimmer of movement. After a moment, he began to realize that he was not alone. Something in his mind told him that someone or something was there with him.
He moved down the pier and began looking around for anymore signs of movement, but all he saw was a man moving down the pier, with a sword in his hand.
"What the?!" he muttered to himself. A man walking around with a sword wasn't something you normally saw, but as he got closer, his face became visible and he was clearly lost in thought.
"HELLO!" he shouted down the pier, trying to get the man's attention, he seemd familiar somehow.

Ka'ze froze where he was, looking at the source of the noise, wondering who it was that had called out.

'At least I got his attention anyways,' he thought.
He began to move down the pier towards the man, he seemed familiar somehow, so he wanted to know if they had met before. Not to mention that he had to try and persuade this man to put away the sword before some passer-by just happened to see him and call the cops.
The last thing he wanted was more people to be hurt and from the looks of this guy, he knew how to use that sword....

Ka'ze watched as the man came closer, his grip tightening on his blade, not sure of who it was.

As she ran the woman bumped into a precariously placed barrel, tripping over it but keeping her balance. The neatly stacked barrels above it crashed down to earth, making quite a noise that echoed down the peir. This didn't do much to slow her down in her flight.
"He saw me...this cannot end well..." She said to herself as she ran, hurtling over another barrel and coming to a fence at the end of the alley. "S***..." She muttered as she began to look for a way around the chain-linked barricade...

Ka'ze broke his gaze away from the man who had been walking to him when he heard the noise.

All of a sudden, the man's head snap in the direction of the disturbance just as he was about to ask who the other was. The noise he had heard had come down the pier a little to his left, and not far either. That's when he knew that it was that movement he had seen earlier. He had felt like perhaps he was being watched for sometime, but had paid it little heed believing that all his enemies had come and gone.
'Stupid,' he thought, 'Your master goes missing and you think yourself safe when you are trying to find him, however indiscriminately!'
He could have kicked himself, but instead a low growl emanated from his throat as was a custom whenever he was irritated, and took off in search of the noise.
He ran toward the warehouses where the noise came from and ran down the alley that he thought he saw movement. He was cursing himself for not paying attention and for the wind blowing in that smelled of fish and salt. If not for the wind, he probably could of tracked the scent. However, even if there was no wind, the place still smell of salt and fish guts.
He was about to give up looking, realizing that it was too dark to see and there had been no other sounds. However, just as he turned a corner, he caught sight of a figure down the alley. He knew not who this was or if that other man was still nearby, but he moved down the alley cautiously towards this strange figure, hoping perhaps to find out the whereabouts of his master or at least to find out why he or she had been following him...

Ka-ze quickly chased after the man and the noise, not knowing what was going on, but wanting to be prepared.
He held on tightly to his blade as he ran after the man, heading down the alley not long after him.

In a last ditch effort the fallen goddess leapt up and began to clamber over the fence, barely making it in time. She jumped down from the top as two men came up at the end of the alley way and began coming for her. When she landed, she sprinted off into the darkness...

He was beginning to sense something not normal about whoever this was, he wanted answers. Evidently, though, this person had other things in mind as she leapt over the fence.
"Crap!" he hollered, an old fear rearing its head into view. In the little light he made out the silhouette of what could only be a woman and now he was afraid that this person might be an old nemesis.
He ran forward and managed to get a hold of the top of the fence and lunge over it. Then he tore off into the darkness after the one who he believed had nearly killed him and was now afraid that she had done something to his master...

Ka-ze sighed, standing there for a bit and thinking about why he was even CONSIDERING following...
"There better be something worthwhile out of this..." he rubbed his temple, before putting his blade in a shieth and then running for the fence, grabbing on and pulling himself over quickly, following after the man and woman.

In his fury, he forgot there was someone with him. He slowed a bit to try and let the other catch up, but no enough to where the one he was chasing get too much of a lead....
