Myst waited ahwile before she shut the computer down again, wondering what she should do now. Once it was closed, she looked over to the man who called himself Ajenta. By now he looked like he was asleep - she doubted she should try running off though. Even if he didn't follow and couldn't track her, she had no clue where she was and something was bound to come along. And should something come along anyway...
She sighed and quietly moved over toward him. The way he'd been behaving, she doubted he would do anything to harm her. And if he did, she'd be no safer sleeping apart from him than near him - if anything she'd have more warning from him getting up. This way, if he really was worried at all about her, she'd have less to worry about herself.
Besides, it was a cold night, and he had body heat.

"Assassin....why me? I have no time for this..." Arachna said, with a deep sigh of loathing. Her sheilds were up, and strong enough to block nearly anything, and she was waiting for the moment to strike, to break his neck in a single blow.
However, that moment never presented itself.

The Iccaari fell asleep just the Myst move towards him. He could use the warmth anyway. He would wake her in the morning to finish the journey to the Rai Mountains. They were only about a five hour flight from here anyway. He drifted further and further into the blackness called dreams until he was totally asleep.

Seryn stepped around a corner when the smell of blood, human blood filled her nostrils. Loooking ahead, she saw an Ave, and a–– Seles? Perhaps, but Ryn just took a stronger grip on her naginata and kept walking toward them. She stopped a few feet away when she saw the dead. Her knuckles turned white. "Which one of you is responsible?"

Derek had been listing and watching for this new foe and had one of his guns out ready to fire. He wanted answers to what was happening, which meant he had to go with this girl. However, first they had to get out of the cafe.
'This girl has a hit on her. This just keeps getting better and better,' he thought sarcastically to himself.
Then, he heard a voice.
"What the?" he said as he saw this new girl, his gun aimed at her.
"Who are you?" he said watching her, and trying to watch the shadow...

Ryn was trying to hold her temper in check, murdering such as this, regardless of what race they were, made her heart rise like heat off of rocks in the middle of summer. "I am Seryn A'Taara, who killed these humans?" Her accent made her words a little longer then they were usually pronounced, and though she had spent many years among humans, she could not fully master their accent.

"The one who is responsible for this is not here," he said,"Seryn A'Taara, whoever or whatever you are, we aren't your enemies."
Derek's head was throbbing and his arm was still bleeding. Not to mention this girl. She had sustained some injuries herself. Derek was not going to let anyone else here die.
Derek turned his gun on the shadow and fired. Even if it were immune to his attacks, he hoped the girl could do something....

Seryn's anger almost vanished and her jaw almost dropped as the human, the only living one in the vicinity, fired a gun, the preferred weapon of the humans, at the Seles. Obviously he had never fought anything but humans.

The bullets flew and hit nothing but air, just missing the Shadow. He ran off to the side closer to the human and then vanished in a blur again, reappearing in back of the human, Falcion to his throat.
Shadow: Drop, your weapons human...
(((OOC: Sorry if i god modded, i won't be doing much more of it like that in the fututre, just to make a point that he is again, fast.)))

"Shadow...drop YOUR weapons...if you wish to maintain your sanity..." Arachna said, turning around and smiling at the poor creature. "Your mind is so very weak...I'm in there right now..."
In her mind everything went black, except for her and the Seles, standing together in the Abyss. By the look on his face he was there too. It was a mindgame setting most Ave could survive in, a mindgame that more often then not, resulted in the death of the loser. "So...do you wish to kill him and lose your sanity? Or leave him alone...and retain your mind?"
((Sorry if I god-modded althought I don't think I did...))

Seryn stood watching, if the Ave was truly inside Shadow's mind, anything she might do now might aggravate the situation.

Silence and suspense filled the air as the Shadow thought deeply about the situtation. His client's henchman warned him about her mind powers. He was supposed to finish her quickly and by surprise, but his thirst for a challenge told him otherwise. If he didnt give, there's no telling what will happen to his mind. He'd have to finish it fast next time. He dropped his falcions to the ground and backed away slowly.

"Good..." She said, begining to inflict her influence upon his mind. "You'll never raise a weapon on me or my kin again...you'll leave this cafe and never return..." Her words were strange, and as she said the last phrase her eyes...her eye's seemed to glow a strange irridescent purple.
Althought weak, the influence did just that- influenced a persons mind and body to do whatever they were told. It lasted a while, but in most cases was easily broken after a few weeks. Smiling, the Ave dropped her game and everything returned to normal.

Shadow remained silent as he slowly reached down for his falcions, sheathed them, and headed towards the exit of the cafe. He took one step outside, and stopped, waiting...

The sun. The cool breeze. The Iccaari woke up to find the girl he met yesturday huddled near him. His great white wings were wrapped around her. He stood up, brushing the grass from his armor and tunic. He bent down and placed a hand on her shoulder. His movements were silent and graceful. His hand shook a little bit before going back by his side. He straightened his back and stared down at the sleeping girl. The morning dew had made both his and her 'hair' stick a little to their faces.
