Turning her attention breifly to the girl she frowned and shook her head. "You are mistaken..." She 'said' calmly, once again trying to comfort her, "Any harm that comes to you, would be from a force more powerful then I, and currently there are none so, fear not..." Her voice echoed within the air again, apparently she left Dereks mind breifly to announce to the girl that it was safe.
As long as the girl hid, Arachna did not invade her mind, as she would have normally, showing her a large ammount of respect.

The Iccaari's smirk did not fade. He kept his hand out for the girl to take. His deep purple eyes flashed but not with hatred and anger, but with pitty. The girl hides from everything doesn't she? He knew the Ave could read his mind. Infact, he had created the message in his head so she only she could hear it. The Iccaari had a specialty of clouding their minds. It made the Ave's mind reading ability have to work ten times as hard just to get into the surface. Thus, many Iccaari created messages when they wanted no one to hear except for the Ave. It is said that the Highest of the Iccaari Clans could actually read minds as well. Oh, and Ave, what did you mean by, different. He looks, smells, and uses the same weapons as the humans. But yes, I do sense something strange about him. Perhaps one of his parents was human and the other a different race? It wasn't uncommon for Iccaari men to mate with different races. Made up more Clans to bind together under the Great Stars. But the human didn't look like an Iccaari. Iccaari were pail skinned and had graceful features. He couldn't be part Iccaari. This Iccaari however, wasnot particularly interested with that at the moment.
His hand stayed in mid air, extened towards the Chamaeleon woman.

Myst stared a moment longer before her body relaxed, though it left her muscles slightly sore. At the same time her coloration returned to what it had been before the attack, excepting the actual blood spatters on her - ew.
Rubbing her arms and legs a little to soothe them, she stood and fixed her wig, remaining ready to run should there be any sign of danger again. "So what do you want?"

Nothing dear one.
The Iccaari turned to the Ave. He frowned. His pale smooth skin was almost ghost like. He began to think, making messages for the Ave.
Ave, the prophecy is coming true.
The Ave should know what he meant. If she didn't, then she learned nothing from the Ave schools. He had a feeling she knew what he was thinking though. He turned back to the Chamaeleon girl. His voice serious but still magical and musical.
You must come with the Ave and my-
Just then, a sound could be heard from the door. The Iccaari spun around, unsheathing the obsidian scimitar and wielding it with his right hand. Two cops were in the door way, guns raised at the Iccaari and the Ave.

Derek didn't quite understand all this, but he learned a long time ago to be silent until the time was right for whatever had to be done. His body ached from the blows of this 'Icaari', but was nothing compared to the anger he felt at seeing all those dead bodies.
However, even he had spilt blood before, it was what he has done his entire life and form what he had heard, he had figured that there was a reason for what had transpired in this place.
Derek heard the girl in his mind, but paid it no heed. Just another question that had to be answered. He was curious of how she could 'see', but disregarded this as well. There were other things at the moment that had to be dealt with.
The chameleon girl had finally come out of hiding and now there were two police officers at in the doorway. Derek pulled out one of his guns with his good arm and fired on the authorities trying to get them to dodge his fire.
'Please dodge. Enough lives have been lost today,' he thought to himself as he pulled out the gun and pulled the trigger.....

Like the start of a race, Myst ran at the sound of a gun shot, not even caring who had fired. She was always aware of as many exists as possible whenever she went anywhere, and she knew she could get through the window in the women's bathroom.
She burst through the door and skidded to a halt, suddenly remembering her laptop. Instinct of preservation versus material wants... it left her standing on a toilet seat in a locked stall, waiting for when it might be safe.

The Iccaari turned to the Ave. He knew she could put thoughts into people's minds, make them see things. His deep purple eyes flashed as his magical and musical voice filled the air.
Ave, make them see us as humans! Make them see nothing of any sort of violence!
He turned, sheathing the obsidian scimitar at his side. The Iccaari began a sprint, grabbing the Chamaeleon's laptop before entering the bathroom. He burst through the stall doors and grabbed the frail girl around her waist. His great white wings extened, breaking through the walls of the stalls. He lifted into the air, swiftly slicing through the roof with the obsidian tanto. He flew into the grey sky, still holding the frail girl tight. As he did this, he thought a message to the Ave.
I will take the girl to the Rai Mountains. You know the way, take the human if you wish to.
With that he began to fly east, towards the distant Rai Mountains.

When the Iccaari left the cafe, and it was only her Derek and the police, she smiled insanely. The officers pointed their guns at her but she reacted faster then they could, taking over ones mind.
Slowly, the police officer turned to face his partner, placing the gun against the poor mans head, as did the other one. "What the hell is going on!?" One of them said frantically, as both pulled the trigger simultaeneously. A shower of brain matter and blood erupted from each mans head as they both plopped to the floor- lifeless.
"Let us go..." She said, placing a hand on Derek's shoulder, and nodding to the front door.

Derek was speechless at what he had just seen. The girl was their target, but they fired one another. It seemed that it was not voluntary either. Derek looked at the girl.
The way she spoke, there was no sound of remorse in her voice. He knew that she had done that. Now she wanted him to go with her. Derek was hurting and was now a little afraid for his life. This one seemed as dangerous as the 'Icaari'.
"Go...go where?" he managed to say, trying to get his thoughts under control and rising to his feet still holding his arm. He look her in the face, where her eyes would be. He still didn't know what to make of this, and he was no angry with her for killing the police officers, but he owed her his life. He tried to suppress his anger, it would do him no good.

The dark figure listened on in silence from around the corner as the events unfolded. He thought to himself how it may be difficult to deal with them.

Myst remained very still in the winged man's arms, fighting the urge to struggle. Falling would have been a bad thing just then - not only would there be pain from injury, but an injury would very likely make it harder to get away from this guy, if she even could uninjured.
No, she would wait until he put her down, or they were at least a good deal closer to the ground, then try her luck. For now, she would deal with this... not that she particularly relished being unable to stand on her own two feet. At least the man wasn't all hideous and deformed though... Certainly not...

The Iccaari bent his head down. His deep purple eyes sank into the Fragile girl's eyes. He knew she was afraid of him and he also knew why. Not everyday a winged man drops in a cafe and massacres the whole lot of people within. A smirk spread across his pale skinned face. His wings flapped once in a while gracefully. His left hand came up to her. Something was grasped in a tight clench. He placed the item on the girls lap. It was her laptop. His head perked up so his deep purple eyes faced forward. He spoke against the wind, his voice was magical and musical but wavered in the wind.
You have nothing to fear from me, fragile one. I'm here to help you.
He could sense she was looking all around. He could also see the faint tips of the Rai Mountains. They would arrive in a few hours. The Ave and the strange human however, would take at least two days on foot. He tightened his hold on the fragile girl. He knew she would try to escape. There was alot of tention, the Iccaari thought it right to begin a conversation with the girl.
What is your name?

Myst looked at him a moment before answering somewhat snippily, "Not that it matters, but I've been going by Myst for quite some time now."
She turned away again, not wanting to look at him, or get to know him. He was too... beautiful, oddly enough, to risk it. Last thing she needed to do was fall for the sweet appearance of a potential preditor.

The Iccaari chuckled. Myst was a beautiful name. The name reminded him of the springs that made myst along the southern tip of Incarite, home land to the Iccaari. He looked down at her. He knew what she thought, and it amused him greatly. He spoke again, almost in a musical whisper.
The Ave and I need you, fragile one. We go to the meeting place of the Iccaari and the Ave. You will like it there. You will be safe there as well.
He looked back up to see the mountains growing closer and closer with each graceful wing beat. He closed his glowing purple eyes and began to slow their flight. The Iccaari began to descend as well. Darkness was creeping over the land. Day turned to night. He landed but didn't put the girl down. He walked into the woods and began to look around. FInally finding what he was looking for, he gently placed the girl under the a small tree that opened where it's roots had been torn out by something. He folded his great white wings and sat down in front of her, making a fire with wood and rocks.

"To the reunion..." Arachna said with a soft smile, "You will be my...shall we say? Prodegy...you see...your blood is different from everyone elses...you should have died from that cut on your arm..." Arachna said, pressing her ffingertips lightly against the mans wound, and smiling when he didn't wince in pain. "Most humans do...you however...you are different from most humans...more shall be revealed at the reunion...if you don't go then...well...lets not talk about unpleasantness..."
The ave smiled politely at derek, withdrawing her hand and folding then in her lap as she stood to the mans left side.
