*Rayna glanced up at Fahne with a smile but quickly remembered that they had stopped in the middle of a path all because she had to stare at some flowers. She laughed a little nervously but decided that she'd much rather sit for a moment anyway. She stepped off the path to take a seat on a bench in the rose garden.* "You don't mind if we sit for a moment do you? I've always been a sucker for red roses."

Fahne sat down next to her, laughing quietly, "it's ok, I don't mind, me I prefer this one type of rose, but I'm not sure of the name. They're kinda multi-colored and the grow up walls and stuff, I think they were called Jacobs coat or something."
((those are real flowers just in case ya didn't know, my mom's growing them.))

*Rayna smiled at Fahne, a little surprised at that comment. Still, she supposed that it shouldn't surprise her... He had already proven to be quite different from other guys...* "They sound beautiful... I don't think I've ever seen anything of the sort... but I haven't really been taking the time to look at flowers lately." *She turned her head away to look at the roses again, resisting the urge to sigh.*

Fahne watched as she looked at the flowers, and smiled. *well, keeping her happy is also a way to protect her. It also makes me happy as well.*

Athan found that his feet carried him to the town's park. What the hell? he thought, second guessing his sub-conscious, not being particularly fond of parks in any way at all. The cold grey cement and sharp angles of iron in the city appealed to him much more readily than anything natural. It could have also been the fact that the cities carried an aura that was always buzzing with excitement, exciting wasn't the right word, though; it was more like and edge. Just neneath the surface there was an edgey feeling that you couldn't get anywhere else besides a city. Those places were real and gritty and it took a different type of attitude to survive there. the aura itself was a weird intoxicating thing and Athan found that he could almost live on the feeling alone.
Shaking his head, he let himself wander into the park, thinking in the back of his head that Fahne would probably love this place. He suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. As if that thought had summoned some bizarre apparition of his absent-minded refernce to his brother and turned it into to reality Athan found that Fahne was, indeed, sitting in that very park, not one hundred feet from where he stood. The same feeling of jealousy that he had lived with all of his life welled up in Athan as he saw that his brother, the perfect angel, (Literally.) wasn't alone.
Without a second thought or hesitation, Athan made his way down the path to where Rayna and Fahne were sitting. 'Hey, Rayna,' he said, stopping a few feet away from the bench, 'who's your friend?'

Fahne held his breath as he looked at Athan.

*Rayna nearly jumped at the sound of another voice, turning her head away from the flowers to see Athan standing there. She smiled, despite how awkward she felt in this situation. She had been flirting with him earlier and here she was with another man.* "Oh. Hi... I didn't expect to find you here. Parks don't really seem your style..." *She smirked slightly before glancing at Fahne.* "This is Fahne... The guy I told you about earlier... He's new around here too... Fahne, this is Athan..."

'Sorry to have startled you,' Athan said, laughing a little. 'Parks aren't really my thing,' he shrugged and glanced at his surroundings, 'but I was bored. And it's nice to meet you Fahne.'

*Rayna glanced between the two of them for a moment. Well this is definitely awkward... Way to go, Rayna...* "So... Care to join us, Athan...? Or are park lovers like ourselves too boring for you?" *She grinned slightly, trying to lighten things up and make things less uncomfortable.*

'Nothing can be more boring than staying in a motel room that looks like it could've been a victim of a drive-by shooting,' Athan said, rolling his eyes. Besides, the look on Fahne's face is too good to miss right now, he thought, thoroughly enjoying the situation he had put his brother in. 'I'd probably just get in the way, though, so I can leave if you want.'
(((Arg! >_< Seriously misreperesenting athan here! He's MUCH more evil, trust me, I'm just not good at writing tonight. ACKH!)))

*Rayna shrugged lightly.* "I don't mind if you stay. It's up to you. You don't mind, do you, Fahne?" *She turned her head to look at him with a bit of a smile. She was worried that she was making him uncomfortable because he didn't seem very happy at all...*

*NO* "Of course I don't mind, " Fahne smiled lightly, trying not to scowl.
