(no clue about plot yet, all I know is it invloves angels, demons, humans, stuff like that, heaven h**l stuff)
Fahne sat at the top of the church watching as the sun slowly set, the moon slowly becoming even more visible. Stretching his wings, he looked over the small town, looking for the one he had to protect. A week had almost passed already, and he still hadn't found the person, all he had was a small feeling that whoever it was, was in this town. Sighing, he took a small lock of his black hair out of his ponytail, and chewed on the ends, thinking of where the person may be.

*Rayna Alexander pulled up in front of the church, her rock music blasting as usual. After parking the car and turning it off, she got out, running a hand through her long black hair in an attempt to tame it after riding with the windows down. She sighed softly as her eyes fell upon her mother's car parked closest to the church. Did she ever get sick of working there? Shaking her head, Rayna walked up to the church, her head held high as usual.*

Fahne watched as a girl walked into the church, "what was that loud racket?" he whispered, referring to the music. Shaking his head, he flew down to the ground once the girl was inside. Curiously, he stared at the doors for a bit, then walked inside, there was something about her that he couldn't quite put his finger on...

*Rayna was silent as she looked down a few halls for her mother. Not seeing her anywhere, she headed into the church itself (or Nave if you're up on church lingo). As she approached the Altar, she gave a slight bow, feeling a little foolish since she didn't see anyone else there. Why go through all that formal stuff when no one was keeping an eye on her? Looking around, Rayna still didn't see or hear any sign of her mother. However, she did find a rag on the step by the altar from where her mother had probably been polishing the brass railings. Sighing once again, Rayna took a seat in one of the pews, waiting for her mother to come back.*

Fahne walked further into the church, making sure that his wings were gone, *can't believe I almost forgot that.* he chuckled mentally. He saw the girl at the altar, but started looking around the church, it was alot better looking on the inside than the out, he made a mental note to come in there more often.

*After a few minutes, Rayna grew a little impatient, checking her watch. She still had half an hour till choir practice and her mother was no where in sight. Giving an annoyed sigh, Rayna lay down on the pew, linking her hands behind her head and staring up at the high ceiling. She fleetingly wondered why her church had to have such hard wooden pews. They may be comfortable for sitting and kneeling but lying down on them was a pain. It was then that she heard movement. She quickly sat upright again, worried that if it was someone she knew, especially her mother, she would be scolded. However, it turned out to just be a man that looked to be a few years older than her. Still, Rayna sat up straight as she always did in front of people, suddenly quite a bit more self-conscious.*

He looked ahead of him, and saw the girl he had followed in here, and something clicked, *that's her!* he supressed the urge to smile like a maniac, and just looked around a bit more *I found her! It's been a whole week and I finally found her! Whooo!* Fireworks were going off in his head. He looked at her, "uh...hello. what are you doing here alone?"

"Uh... hello. what are you doing here alone?"
*Rayna looked to the man, a little surprised that he was talking to her. She smiled a little, glad that he was at least friendly and not scolding her for not showing the proper respect in a church or something.* "Oh, my mom works here. That and I have choir practice in half an hour." *She hesitated, her eyes roaming over him for a moment.* "I haven't seen you here before. New?"

He nodded, "yes, I am. Came to town about a week ago, and I have been looking around a bit."

"Well..." *Rayna stood, stepping up to him and holding out her hand.* "The name's Rayna and you're welcome here. Although I can't imagine why you'd want to spend your time around here if you're new to town... I can think of places much more interesting."

He shook her hand, "I'm Fahne, and yes, there may be places more interesting, but none may have such an intersting past, present, and future as a church, nor will they be as well made and beautiful as the inside of it."
(ok, you can't deny that he talks a little too weird for modern man. lol)

((Yes he does. lol.))
*Rayna raised an eyebrow as they shook hands. This guy's weird... Kinda cool... but weird. I guess I have no room to talk...* "Hm... I don't know... I guess it's beautiful... but besides that, there's not much here."

He put his hands in his pockets, "there is something here though, you just have to know where to look. Of course that can also apply to other old stone structures as well. But again, none have such as interesting history and background as a church. So many peopl pass through it's arches every day, and every century. It's a thing of wonder, if you just stop to think on occasion."

*Rayna felt a warm smile come to her lips. There was something amazingly different about this guy.* "A little deep for a man your age, aren't you?" *She laughed a little, hoping that he knew that she didn't mean anything offensive by it.*

Chuckling, he shrugged, " maybe." *course I'm ALOT older than I seem* "though I find it entertaing to concoct these sort of things in my mind. I am constantly surprising myself with the ideas I can come up with at times."
