Name: Luma Race: Luma (A light elemental, of sorts) Age: By its count, around 1000 (though, it could be more or less. It never specifies what It is 1000 of) Gender: None Abilities: Mastery of the control of light. What this entails is a variety of things, including the obvious ability to generate light, even if there is not present. What isn’t so easily guessed is how the light can be used. There are several factors that influence what abilities can be used, though the production and manipulation of light is always constant. The phase of the moon, time of day, and the location on the earth are just a few examples. Sometimes the light can be used to create things that are corporal, ranging from useless trinkets to ships that can hold an entire crew of people. Other times, the light can be used to afflict mental conditions, such as confusing or distracting someone, and may even alter memory.
Appearance: A Luma is an extremely rare “demon”, only occurring in extremely rare conditions. There are only a few accounts and records of what a Luma is, and even those are obscure and rare to find. Being so rare, Luma simply took on the name of its race, having forgotten its own. Lama are human in shape, but have bodies that are purely magical. Their height changes depending on the time of day, ranging between around 6’0” high at noon and 5’0” at midnight. Its build is mostly proportionate to its height: thin, spindly, and unidentifiable in its gender and becoming even slighter at its tallest. Its limbs are long and elegant, and the hands are so smooth they seem to be made of glass. The most noticeable thing about Luma is its skin, which is the purest and most flawless “shade” of white. A soft glow emits from it, even in the dark (although it can be dampened when needed) and warm and smooth to the touch. A soft edged nose and nearly non-existent lips are almost indistinguishable from the rest of the face, as well as the eyes, which are white lashed and are pupil-less. The irises have slight silver sheen to them, and darken depending on how much light is in the vicinity but, like its skin, glow slightly. Luma’s hair seems to be made of a combination of moonlight, silk and water. It shines and flows, and feels almost liquid (minus the wetness) to the touch. It is long and moves out in waves, reaching to about its hips.
What Luma wears is a manifestation of its power, and it can be manipulated as such. It is a simple, white flowing dress that brushes the ground. Even when Luma is standing still, the dress continues to ripple about, moved by and unseen force. The material is similar to that of her hair, but has a definite “solid” form. It does not wear any shoes, nor does it need to. Dirt and other substances seem to part around Luma, repelled away from blighting its pure form. The only thing of color on Luma is a black tiara, which is of some sort of lusterless metal. Ornate scroll work covers it, and the front of narrows by the temples with a diamond shaped piece in the center of the forehead. No matter what form Luma takes, this tiara remains. Other than this, Luma is known to wear a ratty brown burlap robe, using the hood and adjustable hem to hide its somewhat outstanding appearance.
Personality: Luma is quite the eccentric person to meet. Those who are not dissuaded by its strange appearance find themselves uncomfortable after speaking with it. Luma often speaks in riddles, or in nonsensical rhymes and rarely mentions anything relevant to the common person. It often travels alone, drifting from place to place and seeming never dwelling on anything that it meets. Some consider Luma to have no emotions, such things being beyond something so alien. The ways that it takes interest in random objects and enjoys tormenting village idiots with its silver tongue (which it actually is) are merely coincidental occurrences, to them. Yet, Luma considers itself to have emotions, even though they are often neglected to be expressed. It enjoys watching humans and how they interact, often copying them in its own, slightly mocking way.
History: Luma was not necessarily born and nor was it made. It simply began to exist one day, after a series of odd coincidences and has continued since then, witnessing time without age. It cannot remember much about its past or the others of its kind other than it has lived for an amount of time and there were once others like it. As far as Luma knows, it is the last of the Luma, as it has heard of none others for the last 500 measurements of existence. It does often search for them, but it mostly enjoys being existent in the human world and taking in all matters of creation. Luma does know one thing of its history, and that was when the tiara upon its head was placed. Only fragments of nightmares surrounding of when it was cursed with the Tiara, which is known to be the reason of why it can’t remember and the inconsistencies of power. Luma hopes to one day find how to remove the Tiara, curious to see what exactly was so important for it to forget.
Other: Luma cannot technically eat food, but still enjoys the concept of it, often reading accounts on what foods taste and smell like. It sometimes pretends to eat the food despite the fact swallowing it makes Luma turn extremely bulbous and round for a few days after. The only substance it needs to survive is water and to be under the sun at least once every week.

For a third time, I return here. Let's hope that the third time is the charm, as I am interested in joining this rp. I warn you, I am busy in my real life, so I can't be active as most.

Sorry I have not been around. My work load has gotten heavier than I thought. And my character remains illusive for creation. But, I will get on to joining soon.
