He nodded and gave her a wide smile as she got it right after what he assumed was a lot of effort. He put a reassuring hand of her back and patted her gently, again realizing that the back of her clothes, rags really, was torn. He would remember to ask Jake if he could find something better for the girl to wear. He also thought of something. Seeing as she was a nature kind of a mutant, she would probably enjoy a bath, because of the water.
He proceeded to give her the next lesson which would be just his name and maybe hers if she could remember it. He kept his free hand on his chest, on his heart and spoke his name slowly, "Nor...ton..." He then paused before moving his hand to place it above the girl's breast, on her heart and waited.

He gave her another word, distinguishing it as, apparently, his own... but as she was about to repeat it, he placed his hand on top of her chest, an action that almost caused her to flip out. For some reason, she didn't like being touched in that area, even though she liked being patted and scratched on the head and the like. It was weird, as she felt repulsed from him at first; however, the feeling passed quickly, and she realized he wanted her word too. But how could she give him something she did not have?
She struggled with the thought, scanning through everything she could decipher, but the only thing she'd come up with was a bunch of weird numbers and such. Figuring it was better than saying nothing at all, she rattled off the series in order: "Project DRUID. Subject code: tARM7465" Her speech was slow and deliberate, but she eventually did get it out. Finishing, she looked up to Nor-ton, her eyes staring carefully at him, wondering if she'd done things right again. Her fingers involuntarily played with the locket that was hidden beneath her clothes, touching it from outside of the rags she wore...
*EDIT: the locket is in the profile... i just keep forgetting to add it in x-x*

He didn't show anything on his face but he almost would have had he not been able to hide his surprise at what she spoke. She was some kind of project, and by the looks of it a prototype, android like mutant. He was sure it was probably a government research facility she had escaped from. He smiled and nodded at her again. "Norton... Druid...", he said repeating his name properly this time and then what he hoped she would liked to be called. He anyway thought it was better than Tarm!
He got up from next to her and then walked a few paces towards the door. Seeing her still sitting on the couch, he beckoned her to follow and extended a hand towards her, for her to hold. He would take her to probably leave in the care of someone who could get her to bathe and change her clothes while he talked to the technopath.

A disembodied voice, speaking in a smooth, cultured British accent, spoke from behind Norton even though the corridor appeared to be empty in that direction. "If you need help finding her -- or yourself, for that matter -- a place to stay, I would be glad to be of assistance," the speaker said.
Before Norton or Druid could reply, Jake stepped into the corridor and barked, "Shroud, stop f**king with our guests' heads." He turned an apologetic look in Norton's direction and said, "He can become visible if he wants. He just... doesn't want."
The ghostly caretaker shimmered into existence, wearing an immaculately tailored suit and looking for all the world like an old-fashioned English butler. He glared at Jake, then turned back to Norton and Druid. "My offer of assistance still stands," he said, politely but a bit stiffly.

Dack's body suddenly convulsed as he shot up looking around wildly, not knowing where he was. His eyes were wide with terror for a moment before he realized he wasn't in the future and not at the Mutant Registration Building in downtown New York.
He clutched his head for a moment, the after effects of the time travel and the extensive drain on his powers kicked in.
"Uhhhh," he groaned,"Why did I not think about this more thoroughly." He had made a big mistake, he had let the X-Men know he was here and he wasn't even ready to look for those he had to yet....

By that time, she had hidden around behind Norton, who's word seemed to be changing quite a bit; either that or she misunderstood him the first time around. But at least now she had her own word, one that she didn't think fit too well, but nevertheless it was hers and only hers... She ran it over and over again until she knew she had it down, and began listening to the others as they rambled, trying to follow as best she could. The reappearing man had startled her greatly, and had she not already started following Norton, she would have ran behind the couch. But hiding behind him was better than the cold couch; Norton was warm, and she liked being warm, although she didn't know quite why...
Soon, she overcame her frightened nature and peeked out from behind him, staring at this one who had just been transparent not long before. Not quite sure what to make of it all, she stayed behind him, keeping herself hidden mostly until Norton told her that it was ok... she was trusting him because she wanted too, because he was the first person who had been nice to her. The others who were seemed more inclined to just look at her, but he was the one who had carried her when she couldn't move herself... That meant a lot to her, and now he had given her a word that was hers- Druid; how could she simply turn her back on him and trust something else to protect her from what she knew nothing about? That just wouldn't make any sense to her, or anyone else, she thought, as it was simply silly to do something so blatant and ignorant, even though she knew nothing about what those words meant...

Norton wipped around as he heard the voice and relaxed once he realized it was shroud. Though he was in for another surprise when the man reappeared. Norton smiled which didn't take long to turn into a grin as he looked at the clothes Shroud had been wearing. For some reason he thought of the guy as a T-shirt, jeans kind of a person or probably naked for the while he was invisible. He was happy to see he was wrong about the latter.
He had somehow got accustomed to the girl being bear him and sticking to him often especially when a new person showed up. He looked down at Druid's face and nodded conveying that there was no danger. He turned to Jake and asked, "Uh, Jake is there a... female member of your team that can help Druid? Oh thats her name or so I have figured out anyway..." He paused, not mentioning anything about her being a 'Project'. "
"I don't mind, its just that it would be better if she could interact with someone else besides me as well. It might be easier for her to get up to speed that way", he added. Though he did wonder if she would allow a stranger to undress and bathe her, or even him for that matter. "Any update on our electrified friend?"

She loosened her grip on Norton, coming out from behind him a little. Unsure of what exactly to do, she sat down on the floor for now, continuing to listen. Now that she knew she could make word like them, she wanted to make more of them. In fact, her thirst for knowledge was causing her fear of everything around her to lessen very much so, and she was already picking up bits and pieces here and there, storing everything away so she wouldn't forget it later. Strangely, it felt more like picking up the pieces than discovering something new, which didn't make a whole lot of sense...
Once again, she found herself fingering the locket she had, though why it was on her was not in her knowledge yet. There was no mistake that it was important to her, but why was the question she could not answer. It was as if a part of her had been robbed from her memory, and the thought that such things could happen was unsettling at least... She would need time to recover from having been tossed all about for the last day or so, and so there would hopefully be plenty of time to get things back on the right track, once she found out what that was.

Jake nodded. "Yeah... you met her briefly at the subway." He was surprised Norton had forgotten Nightshade... sure, the girl was quiet, but she was also dazzlingly beautiful, and usually left a more permanent impression on the male mind. He shrugged when asked about Dack, and said, "I'm not sure. He was still unconscious when I left... wait a second." He tapped his earpiece, nodded, and said, "Never mind. He just woke up. We can go visit him if you like."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I don't know whether you remember me from the subway or not, but I'm on your side," the black man standing over Dack said. "My name's Marcus... you'll hear people calling me Marshmallow, but for the sake of your own safety don't imitate them." He looked appraisingly at Dack and asked him, "Are you all right? Any injuries I should know about?"

He raised a brow as if trying to place someone then his face relaxed as he spoke, "Oh right, the jet. I was kind of disoriented a bit from the... jump we made. So Nightshade is already here? Figures." He smiled and looked down at the girl, "Come on Druid, lets get you cleaned up and some clothes..." , he paused and looked up at Jake as if questioning if that was possible, "...hopefully?"
He could see the girl playing with some kind of necklace or locket in her arms and wondered if it would provide them with some information about her. It seemed logical to him that a 'project' like her would have something on her that would store some basic information about her, maybe her origins or at least her age.

"We can buy something for her in town if we don't have any clothes here in her size," Jake said. "Or Shroud can steal them. That's easy when you're invisible, from what I understand." There was a twinge of jealousy in his voice, and it was obvious whose mutant power he thought was the coolest.
He tapped his earpiece again and said, "Nightshade? Jumper here... we've got visitors in the castle, and one of them's female. Can you help make sure she's comfortable? Thanks." He nodded to Norton and said, "She's on her way down... she'll help out... Druid, did you say her name was? That's pretty cool." He winked at the girl, hoping to put her more at ease.

Druid cowered when the other man looked to her, even though his gestures seemed purely innocent. She just wasn't comfortable around other people, even if they all were part of saving her from going back to where she'd been before. It was an odd paradox; she didn't much care for interacting with others, but she didn't want to be alone either...
She relaxed her grip upon the locket when she didn't feel his eyes upon her any longer, looking about the room once more. She felt alone even around these people; they were all so different, and seemed to have their own needs and such, so why were they all so concerned about her? She, 'Druid', seemed to just be a piece of life's puzzle that just wouldn't fit anywhere except in the one place she feared most... And going back there was out of the question. Her memories were few, but what she did remember was nothing good at all... Cooing, she rested her head on Norton's leg, trying to think more about what it was that she had been and where than where she was now, even though every attempt seemed to be more and more futile...

Dack jumped when he heard that voice. What the?! He had almost tried to fry him, but that wouldn't have done much good considering he needed a serious recharge.
"Marcus...?" he asked,"No...no I'm fine, just a little starteld and....a little dizzy, but good."
He looked at the man, "Marshmallow?" he asked quirking an eyebrow,"Hmm, interesting name, not going to probe you about it...yoru business....Where am I ?" he asked not recgnizing the surroundings.
"What happened back there?" he said," I can't remember too much." He remembered destroying the tunnel trying to get away from Rogue...ROGUE!
He jumped up, ignoring his dizziness,"Not good, not bloody good. Rogue and Gambit saw me. They weren't supposed to know I was here just yet. What happened? Why did the coordinates go wrong?" he seemed to be talking to himself....
