"You are the best CO ever." Janitor said, still sitting down. "Oh, and one last question, how big is this ship and how many levels are there?"

((sorry about the delay...I'm stuck at my parents' place for the rest of the week and I'm not on the comp much. This is my first chance ;.; ))
Takeshi rolled his eyes at The Janitor. "You mean to say that you did not read the briefings that were sent to you? This is the largest ship in the Oracle's Guard fleet. It's also one of the fastest, about as maneuverable as a frigate, and packing more firepower than the rest of the OG fleet's Dreadnoughts combined." Some information rolled across his HUD as a chime echoed through the ship. "Also, it seems that the chief engineer wants to see you. I'd suggest you move out. If you have any more questions, just use your communicator."
Takeshi walked over to a panel on the wall near his end of the table. Pressing a few buttons just above it, the panel slid aside, revealing some more communicators. He handed them out to everyone in the room that didn't already have one. "Just press once and tell the computer where to direct the message. If you press twice it will automatically send the message to the last location you sent one too." He saluted the other military members. "Dismissed." He then saluted the non-military members in the room. "You are free to go. If you have any questions about where to find things, the computer can tell you everything through the communicator."
Takeshi walked out of the room. He turned right and headed down the hallway. At the end, he stepped into the lift and told the computer to go to the bridge.

Ice walked into a room where his sniper team bumbed about. They sat in normal Neo Terran Marine fatigues with rifles that were a good foot or so longer than Ice's N-TAR. Ice's eyes shifted from man to man from behind the black visor of his helmet. The Marines looked at him blankly, trying to figure out who he was. One of them lazily got up and walked over to Ice, checking out his armor and weapon. He laughed and addressed his fellow Marines. "Hey guys! Our new leader's here!" His joking tone annoyed Ice, but Ice didn't move or say anything.
Having been introduced for what he was, Ice took off his helmet and laid it on a cot to his right. He looked at the group of six Marines in front of him. His eyes pierced straight through them and it sent chills down their spines. Ice looked around the room for a moment, noting several boxes full of ammunition and weapons, including the rifle the Marines carried. Ice put his N-TAR down next to his helmet and stepped toward one of these boxes. He reached down and picked up one of the rifles. It was extremely light weight and comfortable to hold.
"Sound off. I don't have all day to learn your names and ranks." From left to right, the Marines introduced themselves.
"Sergeant Griggs, sniper."
"Sergeant Forlough, sniper."
"Corporal Blithe, rifleman."
"Lance Corporal Cole, rifleman."
"Private first class Richards, automatic rifleman."
"Private Sanders, assistant gunner."
"Good. I'm Gunnery Sergeant Ice. I'll be taking your sorry asses into harmsway. Here's a list of stations to report to, get on it."

A report flashed on Takeshi's HUD. Apparently one of the sniper team members had filed a complaint against Ice. He chuckled to himself. Looks like I chose the right person to lead that group. About d**n time. His amusement was cut short by a transmission from Admiral Rouge's ship. "Let's here it" he said to the comms officer.
The transmission was full of static, but the words were clear enough. "This is the Rembrandt. We are on route to the fourth moon. We have picked up some strange readings on our sensors. Captain Takeshi, your orders are to investigate these anomalies. Transmitting coordinates now. Rembrandt out."
Takeshi examined the data sent by the Rembrandt. "Open a channel to the entire ship." He waited for the chirp of the comms. "This is Captain Takeshi. We have some interesting new information. Archaeology team, prepare for a lunar landing. We're going to the third moon. There's some trouble at one of the dig sites it would seem." He nodded to the comms officer and the channel was cut. He tapped his communicator and directed the transmission to Ice. "Get your team ready, and grab that engineer too. We'll need him to fix any damages when we get there. Oh, and tell those N T marines that they're in the Oracle's Guard now, and tell them that message is from me. They'll get the hint."

"Roger that, sir."
Ice activated his communications system to speak with Marine Sniper Team. They wouldn't be able to respond to it, but they'd be able to hear it loud and clear through their helmets. He made his voice loud and clear for the Marines. "Grab the engineer and get your asses back here." The Marines did as ordered, coming up anywhere from five to ten minutes later with the engineer. Ice gave them the intel.
"We're going to the third moon to clear up some trouble. Probably just a disgruntled digger or something, nothing too much to worry about. None-the-less, gear up with everything you have. Oh, and the Captain gave me a message for you - you're in the Oracle's Guard now."

((Gud is right... Just remember that )) The Janitor was getting his equipment ready in the hanger just minutes after he heard what was going on. He had a hover cart loaded with some machinery that wasn't so easily carried. The light weight stuff, like his screw drivers, wrenches, power drills, and much more, were stored in a dispenser on his back. Just in case, he had a P90 light machine gun. You never knew when you were going to need it, especially on a militarized cruiser. When all was loaded, he sat down by some of the drop ships. He didnt know weather they were going to be air lifted to a target location or if the whole ship itself would land.

((Also, for future reference, random extras can be used by anybody. Just post a bio for a character you don't want others to control. Doesn't need detail, just a little "hey, leave this one for me" blip. Any unclaimed character is to be assumed available for everyone to dictate the actions of, provided that character is present at the scene being described))
The marines' faces turned white at Ice's comment. They had thought that a former NT military member would have had more sympathy for them. "Sir! Understood, sir!" The engineer that was with them pointed down the hall as the Janitor walked into a doorway leading to the hangar. "Um, isn't that the engineer you should be looking for? I'm not a field mechanic, I mess with ships. Can I go?" She looked very disgruntled at having had her duties interrupted.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Captain Takeshi stepped out of the lift onto the main hangar. The moon didn't have landing facilities so one of the smaller frigates would be serving as a dropship for this trip. He was wearing a light EVA armor suit. The suit was sky blue with dark blue highlights. His assault rifle, one of the newly created collapsible models, was secured on his back, and another device was on his left hip. He secured his helmet as he walked towards The Janitor. "We're not taking a dropship this time. We'll be taking that frigate down there." He pointed to the Largos, which was docked at the far end of the hangar. The visor on his helmet slid down into place, leaving only the lower half of his face visible. "We may as well take advantage of the fact that the Ulysses is the only cruiser big enough to allow frigates to dock." He continued to walk, but then paused when he saw the relic Janitor had as a weapon. "Do you really intend to use that old thing? Or has it been modified? I don't think I've seen one of those since my class on ancient Terra weaponry. One hell of a collector's item if that's the real deal."
After the Janitor's response, he looked around. "Where's Garet? I thought I told the archaeology team to get ready."

((Can you like give a hint on what type of weapons are available?))
"Its just an antique. That still works. That I modified. But, if you have anywhere i can get a better weapon, please point me in that direction.."

Garet hadn't even had time to get his thoughts compiled before all of this. He was having trouble finding his own quarters, trying to determine where his own team would be and where the archaeological artifacts were housed. He figured the former would be with the latter so he decided to check where the artifacts were. Stupid of him not to think to use the communicator Takeshi had given him, but after he managed to finally find his quarters, the Captain came over the intercom.
"Freaking military," he said as he grab his gear and headed for the launch bay. He was actually a little thankful for this interruption. He could find his team faster this way. However, he was a little worried as he entered the launch bay, what could have happened down there.
"I'm here sir," Garet said as the Captain voiced his question,"I got a little lost..."

((I didn't God mode the Janitor I said the engineer, which could mean any of the number of engineers on the ship. I meant it like that Just remember I'm an oldy - I know the rules )) Ice walked over to the crate of rifles in the room. He picked one up by the sling and turned to the Janitor. Ice extended his arm, almost shoving the rifle into the Janitor. "If you plan on fighting, don't use pea-shooters." Lightly placing the butt of the rifle down on the floor, he let go of it, expecting the Janitor to catch it before it fell. Ice then motioned to his team to form up on the Captain. "Just say the word, sir. We're ready."

Takeshi look back at Garet. "Ah, perfect timing. It looks like the rest of the field team is boarding now." He pointed down at the Largos. A few people were loading the last of the scanning equipment into the main cargo bay. "You should probably go say 'hi'." He turned back to the Janitor. "How modified are we talking Janitor? Some of the best weapons right now are all based on old designs. You could probably..." He was cut off as Ice came up with another rifle. Nodding to Ice, he said "Go ahead and load up then, we launch in ten."

The Janitor caught the weapon, and slung it over his shoulder.
"I dont plan on fighting. The only types of real fighting I have done were commanding gun and missile batteries." With that, he grabbed the metal railing of his small cart and pulled it onto the cargo bay of the frigate, then proceeded to the bridge.

Ice and his sniper team moved into the frigate. They sat around the loading ramp while the rest of the ground team boarded. Ice looked over at his Marines, they made sure their magazines were filled with the maximum twenty rounds and loaded their rifles. The normal Marines in the four man fireteam had no attachments to their rifles, while the snipers had specialized sniper rifles and scopes. Inwardly, Ice praised the Neo Terran weapons developers for thinking of their Corps.
Ice opened a channel to the Captain. "Sir, it looks like all are aboard. Ramp is prepped for closure and departure."
