Ok! As you've all noticed I've posted a character for an RP I'm calling "On Wing's of Lead". This is were I get to tell you all the different types of things you may choose; clan wise, rank wise, weapon wise, and ship and pilot types.
Before you sign up however do note that I want either people I have recognized as Elite, or member's of the Haven's elite to join. If you think I'd invite you in, PM me. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. The main thing's I'm looking for are:
-Long Detailed posts with correct spelling and grammar.
-Good Character developement throughout the story(ies)
-No overly powering Airship's, other then the ships owned and operated by the Clan Leader's because they won't be fighting alot.
-No magic! NO MAGIC! And again NO GOD-D**N MAGIC!
Ok, now that I'm through with my prerequisite's on to the good stuff:
This story takes pace 50 year's after the Apocalypse, were most people live on huge airborne cities and operate flying machines called Airship's. Of course, some cities are located on the ground, but the richer and stronger cities are in the air.
Small clan's control and fight over said cities, a small list of clan's will be available, whilst the poor people who live on the ground starve and die off in an environment thats less then ideal. Heh...less then Ideal is quite the understatement.
Now to the nitty-gritty:
Races:
Human's- the standard people of the clan's and nation's.
Mutant's- Hunted often by human's, though some are tame enough to be around.There are six subtyps:
Orc's- The most brutish of the Mutant's, hated by all humans and deemed monsters.
Imps- A subspecie's of orc.
Troll- Another subspecie's of Orc.
Goblin- Another subspecies of Orc, said to be a stronger imp.
Yitish- The Yitish are kind and gentle, they are cat-like in appearance and very inteligent.
Elves- Mutated Human's who don't age as fast and live longer then the average human, They normally have light colorerd hair and fair skin with pointy ear's.
Alien Species- Alien's were at first, thought to be Mutant's from another planet, but as time grew on and Human nature changed we quickly adopted them as another sentient race on the planet. There are 2 subtypes:
The Grey- The normal 1960's style alien's who posses a great knowledge beyond there year's. They have managed to learn our language over time and are very kind and gentle.
The Fear- The exact opposite of the kind and frail Grey species, the Fear despise anything thats not one of them, both mutants and human's, they wish to enslave the grey and eliminate all other life. These creature's come in all shapes and form's so it's hard to tell them apart from the other race's.
The Clans:
Cid Skylard and the Crimson Wings- A group of mercenaries formed by the famous Ex-World War 3 veteran Cid Skylark, They are probably the more dangerous of the clans Tactic-wise and in technology, but when it comes down to it their numbers dwindle. Probably about 10-15 member's total.
Menace- A group formed by the combined effort's of the more Barbaric mutant's to combat the Human's trying to hunt them all down and kill them. Of course, they lack much inteligence or technology, but every now and then they get some decent ships in the air. They have the biggest population of all the clan's however, and they have some of the best ground fighter's. 200-500 members.
Enclave/Corporate- The richest humans around formed the Corporate Web and started WTO Enclave's all over the world in their large Floating Fortresses. Of coures they have the most technology thanks to the Grey's they employ to help them out, its rumored they also have access to a super weapon in the form of a satilite orbitting the planet. 100-150 members.
The NEXT- The Fear's own little group of elite and non-elite warrior's. They are, besides the Enclave/Coporate's, the most technologically advanced of any other clan. They are known to employ Radiation weapon's that will harm only human's and anything thats not cybernetic or a Grey. They have the second least members, 75-125.
The Pirates- Yarr Me matey's! YAR! Blah blah...self-explanitory. They have a decent mesh of talent and Technology, with a decent ammount of members to back it up. 200-250.
Brotherhood of Steel- This group was started by a small group of men who wished to mesh every ace together. Now it has some of the more talented pilots. The old leader of this group was a man named Cid Skylark but he left when he discovered that their mean's weren't as pure as he thought they were. Now they are lead by a council with one member from each race, excluding the more dangerous of the mutants and the Fear.
and finnaly
Human's First!- A group of Fanatics who wish to annialate anything thats not a human, they lack even the most talented of pilot's, but have access to most of the Coporate machinery and airhips. This group is loosing member's because of its cause, and the fact that theres not alot of human's with pilot experience. 75-105 members, shrinking.
Ship Types
The following is a list of all the ships you can pilot in the game, well the ship TYPES anyway.
Fighter- Lightweight, maneuverable, and packs a punch. The fighter is the basic airship of choice in most large scale battle's, capable of flying at High speed's, and delivering a small payload of missles on target's. Fighter's are lightly armored.
Bomber- Bomber's are the backbone and driving force behind most large scale armada's. They deliver bone-breaking power upon a large scale of mainly group target's. They are slow but strong, having very heavy armor. But without Fighter Coverage they're basically worthless.
Figher/Bomber- A decent mesh of armor, maneuverability and Firepower.
Transport- A basic troop or supply transport. Sometimes they can refuel and reload airships already in the air, generally speaking they have heavy heavy durable armor but move very slow.
HeadQuarter/Citieships- Heavily armored and well defended, these are normally the headstead forces for clan's and other roaming groups. Without one of these to return to the other type's are worthless, normally these massive behemoth's employ multiple pilot's to keep them in the air, and are covered in defence weapon's.
Pilot Types
Fighter Pilot- Figher pilot's do their best piloting fighter-class ship's, and are more adept with them on the feild.
Bomber Pilot- Bomber Pilots are exceptionally trained with Bomber class ships. They know exactly were to fly, were to hit and when to release their deadly payload.
Fighter/Bomber Pilot- Fighter/Bomber Pilots are good with both fighter and bomber class ships.
Transport Pilot- Transport Pilot's are the best at piloting Transport Class ships, this also includes flying HG or Citieship's.
