*Amaera shook her head as well.* "I've always traveled on foot... Never really had the chance to ride a horse. Why do you ask?"

Eldae shrugged. I was thinking that I might be able to create some... well, not really horses, but close enough for our purposes. It would get us where we are going a lot faster."

*Amaera shrugged lightly.* "We could always give it a try... I'm willing to do almost anything that will get us away from this place any faster..."

Eldae nodded. His eyes unfocused, looking into a different plane. He summoned ectoplasm from the astral plane, shaping it into two roughly horse-shaped constructs. As he pictured the 'horses' in his mind, he added some saddle-shaped 'ridges' to the back of them. As he finished creating the horses he felt his exhaustion grow, to the point that he could barley stand when he saw normally again, smiling at his creations.

*Amaera stared at the two horse-like creatures in front of her, shaking her head lightly.* "Sometimes that power of yours gets just a little scary..." *She smiled as she glanced over at Eldae. She noticed that he looked even more weary than he had earlier and she quickly moved closer to support him.*

Eldae leaned gratefully against Amaera. He grinned weakly at her. "Only a little scary, huh? Pity. I was going to downright terrifying." With Amaera's help, he walked over to the nearest of the two steeds. Placing his hands on the back of the horse, he tried to pull himself up, but slipped and fell. Landing on the hard groun, he lay there for a moment, catching his breath.

((Trying to give me a hint, dear? lol.)) *Amaera, quite worried about Eldae, was immediately at his side, kneeling down to help him.* "All right, now you've reached downright terrifying... No more magic tricks for a while... The first chance we get, we need to find someplace to rest... There's no way I'm letting you travel very far like this. Enough for one day."

(I go to extremes. Either I'm incredibly subtle and am not even noiced, or I'm subtle like a brick wall.) Eldae stood up shakily, coughing. "I didn't think I was that tired. This must have drained me more than I thought."

"Apparently someone needs to learn their limits a little better. It's a miracle you've survived so long on your own." *Amaera managed a smile, despite the fact that she was quite worried about her companion.*

Eldae smiled weakly back. "I normally don't try to do so much in one day. I don't think I've ever been this pressed." He leaned against the side of the 'horse', closing his eyes. "It has been a long day, hasn't it? And it isn't even over yet."

*Amaera shook her head lightly.* "Not yet... But the longer we stay here, the longer it will be before we can rest... and rest seems to be something we all desperately need, you more so than anyone else. Come on... Let me help you this time."

With Amaera's help, Eldae managed to mount one of the steeds. Breathing heavily from the exertion, he clung weakly to the neck, closing his eyes. When he had recovered, he looked at Amaera, grinning weakly. "I think... next time... I'll just hire a carriage."

*Amaera couldn't help but smile as she shook her head at him.* "That definitely sounds like a good idea to me." *With that, she mounted behind him as quickly as possible, eager to leave.*

After checking to make sure that Cecil was safely mounted, Eldae wearily gave the constructs a mental command, shivering slightly despite the wide berth they gave the graveyard. after riding for about an hour or so into the night, he finally felt fatigue thratening to overwhelm him, stopping the 'horses' at a small clearing.
