Duke grunted as the pistol connected with his chest. He quickly regained his balance after stumbling backwards and high-tailed it back to the van, right behind the elf, face growing red in embarrassment. Avoiding eye contact with the thieves, he climbed back in and took his place in the back.
This is insane, he thought to himself, rubbing his chest subconsciously, I have absolutely no reason to be with these strange people... I could be safe at home right now, drinking hot chocolate or something.
He sighed and propped his feet on Kait's armrest, slouching slightly in his seat.

Ronan quickly got back into the drivers seat and sped away from there. Crimthann looked back at the others. "Everyone alright?" He asked, glancing at Dom. "You okay, lad? Jaysus god, mate, you've got the minimals, alright! Scared the sh**e out O'me."
Crimthann shook his head. "Good job, lad. Jus' try to give us a warnin' next time." He said, still smiling a bit.
Herman followed Mordin, still shaking like a leaf. He had considered fleeing in the confusion, but he decided he would be worse off had he done so. Herman took a deep breath. "I don't know any names." He said. "I'm interpol. I was just assigned to find the statue, and tip off to who had it. The proof was to be a picture, but the man knew where my camera was."
He narrowed his eyes.
"The one that attacked you. He said a name. Crim-something... Crimthann." Herman stuttered. "It is old Irish for "Fox"." He said. "That is all I know, I swear!" Herman said, looking to Mordin nervously.

"No, it's fine," Kait assured Dom. "But if my cell phone rings again, yer in fer a nice surprise." She directed her next comment to Duke. "Thanks fer helpin' Dom outta that hole he dug for himself. I underestimated ya... I thought if anyone woulda turned tail and run away it'd be the guy with no real motive fer bein' here, but yer a stand-up guy." She hoped he understood her thick Irish accent.
(BTW, Fionn, if my Irish accent needs work then please tell me. I've never tried posting with one before.)

Mordin sighed, this man was useless. He knew nothing more than he had gathered confronting these men, however, he had scared off one of the group, so his job had become considerably easier. But Herman was absolutely idiotic for anyone from interpol, there was no possibility that that was the truth, or all he knew. Mordin turned toward the man and pulled his gun, kicking the man to the ground and putting the gun to his groin.
"Now, you'll stop holding back info for your precious job. It's gone already, you've proven yourself incompetent, so do something worthwhile in your life and tell me EVERYTHING interpol knows. Or I'll be happy to make sure you don't have kids. I know interpol ain't this stupid, so either you're lying about that, or lying to me now... Either way, you're buddies are gonna be mush if you don't spill your guts."
Mordin was done wasting time with this man, and it had infuriated him that he wasted his time and put his life on the line for little to no information. He had earned a name or two, and some faces... But most importantly the license plate on the truck. He would need to run it quickly, see if they were dumb enough to steal a commercial van and hold it. Hopefully this was one where the company tracked its vehicles. If it wasn't he was at another dead end.
Nonetheless, his focus was on the German, who was in some serious trouble if he didn't provide the information that Mordin wanted. There had to be more he knows. There's no way he poses as a fence and gets that far in without some knowledge, who they're meeting, what they wanted. If it was just money, then they were going for something bigger, which would imply that the woman Mordin had spoke to was right in thinking that the treasures of ireland were in trouble...

"Does it viiiibrate?" Dom asks with a grin, resting his head back on Kait's shoulder before looking over at the man who saved him. "And yes! Thankyou much... maybe I won't have to smear makeup on you after all..." He nods and closes his eyes- attempting to go to sleep perhaps?

Duke tried not to look confused as the Irish fairy spoke to him. God I hate accents, he thought to himself as she finished. Eventually, he took it as her thanking him and he nodded. He understood the elf a little better, although he didn't much appreciate the makeup comment.
"Were you planning on smearing makeup on me in the first place?" he asked after a moment, hoping he didn't misunderstand Dom.

"I get the impression he plans to smear makeup on everybody," Kait said, smiling slightly. She had found the way in which Dom had handled the cop a bit funny, though she wondered if perhaps shooting the man would have been more effective... now, he was not only still after them, but likely very, very pissed off.

"Only on certain people, only if they'll allow it or they're asleep... one of the two." Dom says as he squirms a bit in order to get a bit more comfortable in Kaits lap. She wasn't bony or anything, which was probabl why Dom had taken a liking to her, so it was just a matter of positioning his own limbs properly.
Within a few moments he had managed to settle down, closing his eyes in order to nod off for a little nap.

Herman narrowed his eyes on Mordin, cocking an eyebrow. He straightened up and stopped shaking. He sighed, speaking in a much more confident - though still accented voice.
"If you shoot me, you'll be a criminal. You can't finish your case if you're behind bars." Mordin said.
"I've told you all I know. The statue was stolen from a museum, Interpol wants it back. They're using it to get funding, that's all. I stumbled on that kid looking to sell it by accident."
Crimthann looked back again. "No puttin' makeup on anyone who doesn't want it. Unless they've passed out drunk. Then, it's funny."
Ronan glanced in the rear view. "Well, we've banjaxed the statue sale. Here's our next step. We're ditchin' the van, an' we're movin' out tonight. Grab yer things from the hotel, because we're goin' t'hit a bank -- a big bank -- in a few days."
Crimthann nodded slowly. "Yeah. Ronan here is going to contact a weapon's dealer, an' get us some shooters. Then, we find a good spot to hit, case it, an' pull the job." He looked back at them again. "Any suggestions, mates?"

"If ya need someone to case the joint, I can get the lay of the lad fer ya," Kaitlyn offered with a slight smile. She was good at casing banks... she could go as different people every other hour, and in that way avoid raising suspicion. (OOC: No, 'lad' is not a typo... and yes, by all means, please call her on it. )

"Lay of the lad?" Dom muttered as he looked up from his nice, comfortable spot. Usaly he would've just meditated and slept and avoided getting into conversations with everyone, but that last statement just confused the hell out of him.
((Oh you should soooo disguise yourself as Dom.))

(LOL, that'd be awesome.)
"Yep. Don' know which one yet, though. Probably one of the guards," Kaitlyn said. She had slept with bank guards before... in fact, when the mission called for it she had slept with and subsequently killed bank guards before.

Crimthann looked back at Kait. "We may need you T'do that. First, though, we dig up what information we can on the bank. Who runs it, how many people go in an' out, how much security they have at any given time, an' where that security is... Oh, an' when armored trucks show up."
"Why don't we just nick an armored truck and be off with it?" Ronan asked.
"Because there's usually a guard in the back of the truck with a shotgun," Crimthann said. "I don't want T'get shot when we open the door."
"I'll call Celestyn and see what type of weapons we can get," Ronan muttered.
Crimthann pulled himself over the seat and knelt on the floor in front of the others, bumping Ronan and making the van swerve a bit. "Fack off!" Ronan muttered, making Crimthann laugh slightly.
Crimthann looked at them. "When we decide what bank it is, and find all of the info we need, we all go in the first time. Don't act as though you know each other, an' don't use any real names," He said.
He looked at Duke. "You can channel electricity, can't you?" Crimthann asked, narrowing his eyes briefly; apparently coming up with an idea at that moment.
He then looked to Kait. "An' you've done bank jobs before, yeah?" He asked, wanting as much insight as possible.

"Oh oh me! Pick me! Over here! Heeeey~" Came Dom's little pipsqueak girly voice as he waved his hand at Crimmthann from his position curled up in Kait's lap, pointing to himself and generally making sure that Crimmthann would notice and/or pick him.
Of course, he wasn't doing it /as/ frantically as he normally would since he was curled up on the squishiness of Kait, whom he had taken quite the liking to. And he didn't want her to suddenly not like him because of him squirming around and being a nuisance. "I can dooooo stuff!"

Crimthann looked at dom, laughing and nodding. "O'course Y'can, mate! Hadn't fergotten 'bout ya," He started, smiling.
"We'll need you t'dig up the information on the banks and t'see what kind of digital security they have," Crimthann said. "We'll likely need you t'bypass a lot of electronic security," he said. "Can you do that fer us, lad?" Crimthann asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because if you could... Well, that'd be lovely."
"Also, I want to know if you can think of a way of getting around biometric security. Retinal scans, fingerprints, anything like that. Got any ideas, lad?"
