The climates have shifted drastically in the wake of the Great wars. The sun no shown three-hundred and fifty days a year from the equator to Canada. Across the Mississippi, there was nothing but desert until you reached the mountains, there more of the same until you got close to the coast. The Ozone layer had mostly burned away, the polar ice caps all but vanished. Temperatures had risen everywhere, and the land that had once been Middle America had turned stunted and dry. However this wasn't the worst of it. In addition to the ruined planet humanity gave rise to the worse aspect of itself. For centuries humanity thought that the battle of good and evil was played out by beings much larger than themselves, giving names and at times faces to shift responsibility form themselves. However these aspects of the universe were born from mankind itself and it was from them that they began to walk this world. At first they hid themselves from sight using magic which had long been forgotten by modern man once the fall of mankind was set into motion they began to show themselves for what they were and still mankind did not want to accept this. Now the demons ruled the wasted world hunting the humans who were held up in strongholds across America, however some were still left out side these strongholds and were exposed to plague and the mutants that now lived in the world. (time issues Ill fill in the rest as it goes along.)
