(Alexa shouldn't be with Aaron, she was with GandalfGudith characters, Aaron was off by himself at the moment, unless Evan happens to follow him)
Dexter's frantic voice brought Aaron up short. When the actual words hit him, Aaron stopped entirely. " What? John? Is he okay? I haven't seen Alexa, what's going on?" Across the field, Aaron saw several people come running. The one in front was a guy Aaron didn't know, and he was running as if his life depended on it. Behind came a group of people, moving in an odd run, stiff legged, their shoulders hunched forward, arms stiff until the elbow, which swung freely as if limp. The guy out in front tripped, fell, and the group was on him. They grabbed, clawing as he yelled and kick, but they took no notice to the blows as they leaned over to bite, tearing, blood spraying... Aaron nearly dropped his phone as his stomach violently emptied itself on the ground.

((sorry, assumed they were at the same scream))
"sh**, sh** sh**! No, he's not alright. I didn't stick around, there are others, Aaron. Something's seriously wrong here. I gotta find Alexa and head over to Mandy's, see if she's alright."
Dexter had to dodge a group of people who were running parallel to him. He saw them bust into the campus bookstore and begin looting. The whole world had gone f**king mad around him. He heard a guttural scream behind him, and saw several people behind him, with blood caked on their faces and upper bodies. "Oh, f**k. Aaron I gotta go. Keep an eye out for Alexa, will ya?" He clicked his phone shut and took off in a dead sprint, as the group gave chase...
Alexa broke off from the rest of the group, dodging into an alley and climbing up a fire escape ladder that had been left low. She pulled the ladder up and picked up her cell phone. "Dexter! where are you?"
"I'm running across the quad now. Can't talk, meet me at my dorm!" He hung up. Alexa waited for a clear coast, then lowered the ladder enough to climb down and took every shortcut she knew to get to Dexter's dorm.
"I...i don't think it's Abe," Chunk said as he shone his flashlight at Phil. "Unless he's severely hungover." He tensed up a bit, pulling his hoodie tighter around his plus-sized form...

(It was the same scream, Aaron just never got there)
When he staightened back up, Aaron saw the group was done with the man they had been eating, leaving behind a mutilated but still mostly whole body. They were running at him now. Cramming his phone back in his pocket, he turned and ran. Evan, if he was still where he left him, he had to be warned. He had only gone a few steps before he saw that wasn't possible. There were more of them across the field where he had come from. He could only hope Evan was okay. Aaron turned, heading up at an angle to his previous direction. It wasn't too far to the edge of the field, where he could lose himself among the buildings...only there were more of them, coming down the walkway he was heading for. " Christ, where did they all come from!?" Tossing his bag off to get rid of the weight, he ran as hard as he could, veering just off the path the crazed people were coming down, heading for the low wall. It was going to be close. Aaron reached the wall, quickly jumping onto it. The people were nearly upon him, screaming, manic faces and outstretched hands. He gathered, and jumped, right over them. A hand brushed his shoe, and then he hit the side of the building, fingertips just catching the roof. The guttering groaned and threatened to pull free, but he quick hauled himself up, rolling onto the top of the building, panting, sweating. He lay there, dazed.
Ahead of him, Dexter saw a mixed crowd of people swarm out into the street, half running in fear, half chasing, dragging down screaming victims.
Alexa saw only brief signs of the crazed people as she hurried across the campus. She reached her brother's dorm without incident, the maddness didn't seem to have gotten this far...yet.
Chunk was half right...it wasn't Abe, yet it was his face, his body that came lunging out of the darkness, a bloody hole in his neck. He grabbed Phil, biting down, blood squirting from his throat. Phil barely managed a surprised gurgle before the life went out of his eyes.

"whole-e-sh**." Evan said slowly, when he saw the masses of masses of (people?) from every direction. He turned left, saw some, then turned right. They were everywhere. He ran to a nearby building, burst through the door, and ran as fast as he could to the roof. When he got there, he saw Aaron laying there, panting. "Wh-what is going on...?" He asked, out of breath.

"Just...back away...very slowly..." Dr. Norton managed to say, quietly so only herself and Rachel and David could hear. Apparently it was a bit too loud, or one of them stepped on something, or maybe the blood-covered people had radar...she didn't know, or care, which...but two of them looked up. It was almost as if time froze for half a second. Nothing seemed to move. Then the two blood-covered people leaped up and charged. Rachel screamed, Dr. Norton took off running, and David tried to drag Rachel along as he left. "Run!" Dr. Norton shouted at the two students. David managed to get Rachel going, but by then it was too late for him. He was tackled by both of the people and they started ripping into him.
Still running, and very short of breath, Dr. Norton and Rachel went into the main cafeteria building through the service door which had been left wide open. Rachel collapsed on the floor, shaking in fear. Dr. Norton checked the surroundings to make sure it was safe, then went to get Rachel back on her feat. They weren't safe here, but Dr. Norton knew where student owned weapons were kept. "Rachel. We're going to the barn. We'll get help there. That's where security is remember? We need to move now though. This place isn't safe." With that the two of them headed directly for the barn, moving quickly but stealthily. Thankfully Rachel was in some sort of unofficial club and knew all the shortcuts around campus. There were too many groups of crazed people to count, and if it wasn't for those shortcuts they might not have gotten by them so stealthily. _____________________________
"Hello? Is someone there?" Mr. Thurmstrom, peeked out from his hiding place behind the front desk of the dorm as a girl ran by, seemingly looking for something. "Alexa is that you? Are you alright?" He stood up so she could see who was talking.

Alexa jumped at the sound of a voice, but recognized the student teacher's voice almost immediately. "Oh, my God, Mr. Thurmstrom! What the hell is going on?" She had a rock in her hand, but she wasn't sure it would do any good in case they were discovered. She ran over to where he was hiding and ducked down, making herself as small as she could.
Dexter tore across Stadium Avenue and had enough speed to get three steps up a rather tall wall before grabbing onto the top. He hoisted himself up and looked at the chaos. There were bodies littering the ground and crazies running around everywhere. he couldn't even begin to sort them all out...
A hand grabbed his ankle, startling him. He jumped and turned, seeing a crazy person clawing up at him. He lost his balance and nearly toppled from the wall, but caught himself on one of the Cinder blocks which made up the wall. Unfortunately, the cinder block was loose, and gave way as he fell to the ground on his haunches. The crazy was ready to pounce, but Dexter rolled out of the way just in time. He picked up the cinder block and delivered a crushing blow to the crazy woman's skull. And then another. And a third one. a palette of blood and gore shot across the wall, spraying a bit on his shirt and arms as well. It took Dexter a few seconds to register that he was screaming at the top of his lungs. Pumped full of adrenaline, Dexter resumed his dead out sprint across campus towards his dorm room.
"OH MY GOD! OHMYGODOHYMYGODHOLYsh**!!!!" Marty had fallen down, twisting his ankle on one of the basement floor's many cracks and potholes. He turned around as what was once Abe descended upon him. Marty hit it in the head with his flashlight. All it did was disable the flashlight. Marty never saw Abe's hands delve into his intestines; only felt the agonizing pain and heard his own fading screams.

Aaron nearly fell off the roof in surprise, but caught himself just before going over. He quickly climbed to his feet. "...I have no f**king idea," he finally admitted. " sh**, how did you get up here? Please tell me you had to climb, cause if there is a stairway..."
As they arrived, Dr. Norton and Rachel came up short as they found the security building under siege. Whoever was inside had the doors locked, though how long they would remain so seemed in question. With unflagging determination, the crazed people were slamming hands and bodies against the doors, oblivious to the breaking of bones or smears of their own blood left on the wood.
Dexter found himself alone in an empty street as he reached his dorm. Several streets down the block, he could clearly see the carnage, but it wasn't yet moving up his direction. " Hey! Dex! Get your ass in here now!" Thomas, one the guys from Dex's dorm floor, yelled at him from the doorway. " We've got the dorm keys, and we're locking up!"
(Nice, bye bye Chunk)

"I've gotta find Alexa!" Dexter yelled, shaking out of his momentary trance. "Have you guys seen her? She was supposed to meet me here." He looked around the immediate vicinity for her.
"DEX!" Alexa ran out to him and embraced him tightly. "I was worried about you--is that blood?!"
"Yeah," he replied. "We need to get inside."
"Okay. Come on, Mr. Thurmstorm!" Alexa yelled as Dexter and she began their way up the stairs towards the dorm.

"Umm... no I had to climb. The stairs. Ha." He said, trying to provide humor. "If we could get to the kitchens, we could get some FIYA! going.."

" Faster, move faster," Thomas said urgently, looking about nervously. He turned back into the dorm. " Amy! Are the side doors locked yet!?" " Yes!" A female voice called back.
Aaron stared at Evan a moment. " FIYA? What is...never mind, we need to get moving." He looked across the roof top to the next building. There was only a ten foot gap between them, but the other structure was a good bit taller. Still, Aaron felt confident he could make the jump and catch the edge. Evan though..." Could you make that jump?" he asked, pointing.

"Uh... About ten feet?" He asked, a little uncertain. He stared a little at it, then heard even more screams. "Better than this hell hole!" He said, took some steps back, got a running start and leaped the gap, catching the other edge with his hands. When he got up, panting, he said "FIYA! is fire, just dramatized..."

" Of course it is..." Aaron said sarcastically, though he forced a smile to take the bite out of it. With a running start, he cleared the gap and hauled himself up onto the next roof. The building they were on rose up in multiple levels, but at easy to climb intervals. Soon, they were a good forty or fifty feet off the ground, and had a good view of the campus. Not that what they saw was good at all. It was complete chaos, people running and screaming everywhere, being chased by those zombies. Aaron didn't want to call them that, didn't want to admit to it, zombies weren't real. But he had seen enough horror movies, seen zombies in them, and what he saw now was simply too close to the fiction to call them anything else, even in his mind. A few fires were burning, and every now and then someone managed to get into a car and go tearing off through the streets, running down any person or zombie that got in their way. Just as many of those cars crashed as got away, leaving dazed and injured drivers to be torn from the wreckage by hungry hands. " Un-f**king-believable," he muttered.

"Seems to me Jesus Christ wont be helping us today..." Evan whispered, seeing as students bodies where torn to pieces. He was glad his friends didnt go to that university.
"We need weapons with a punch.." He said, a little too obviously. "I know getting a shotgun from somewhere on campus isnt going to happen, but we could use like a chain saw, or something...?"

" Weapons with punch..." Aaron mumbled. He wasn't so sure, he had never held anything more dangerous than a kitchen knife his whole life. " I think we'll be lucky to find any weapons at all." And he wasn't so sure he would take a weapon. Just having one might be an encouragement to try and fight, and he doubted fighting was the right way to get out of this alive. He put more faith in quick feet.

Watching the carnage from her nice, safe hiding place, Dr. Norton tried to see if there was a way into the barn. The mob of zombies was just too thick, and it looked like they would break through any minute. It wasn't worth that much trouble just to get a gun. She and Rachel went around the corner of a nearby building into an alley they had just gone through. "Where else can we go?" Rachel said. Dr. Norton stopped the think. "The dorms maybe?" Dr. Norton replied. Rachel nodded and began leading the way through campus to the dorms. _____________________________
Mr. Thurmstrom ran after the students. Once inside, he looked around to see who was there. "Wait...did any of the staff make it here? It'd be d**n hard to teach if I'm the only one left!" he said, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
