Keavah quirked her brow at what Yavanna said, disregarding the fact that she paused mid sentence, figuring it was just a loss of words. She forgot words, too. ((I love naive people...))
Keavah shrugged." Sounds good to me." Party in two days...she figured that was enough time for news to circulate.

(Okay, do we actually want to RP the next day? Or should we just skip to the start of the party? Or does anyone have anything they want to do between now and then?)

( I doubt that'll happen. I say we either elect a new RP leader, or take votes on when to start new plot lines. I'm pretty dry on ideas for what to do with my guy where he is right now, I need a time line jump)

((I'd say we should skip to the party...then to school...but there aren't any teachers...u_u maybe we should make this and internment camp...for oddities humanity can't explain...so they capture them and throw them all together in quarantine like they're diseased...and...ya...that's all I've got))

(LOL. I'll try to think of a teacher character or two for when we get to the school part. But for now, we should just do the party.)

(Okay, lets switch scenes to the party. And maybe we should each pick some subject and make a teacher for it?)

(K, then we'll do that ) The day of the partyTynt glanced down at the wide circle on the lawn behind the dorm, then back at the book in his hands. The pattern seemed right, the circle was really two circles, one slightly smaller than the other, with an intricate series of symbols and runes between them. Inside the circle, piles of party supplies had been stacked, drinks and food, plates and glasses, towels and a few umbrellas, various sports equipment... He paced around the circles, checking each symbol against the drawings in the book. He was by no means an expert of transportation spells, and he wanted to make sure everything was correct. It would not make for a good start of the party if they all ended up a hundred miles or more in the wrong direction.

Keavah walked up behind Tynt and glanced at the runes. "We can't do anything normal around here, can we?" She had figured at least someone would own a car...

" I don't think any of us came here to learn how to be normal," Tynt commented, giving Keavah a quick smile before returning to his inspection. " Besides, this is faster, even taking into account the time taken to draw it out."

"Right..." She tossed her bag onto the pile and stood back. "So where's the rest of our motley crew?"

Tynt shrugged. " I haven't seen anyone for a while now." He closed the book with a sigh. " How did I end up in charge of over seeing the circle?"

"Because you're responsible? Because I don't know how?" She could go on, but decided two was more than enough. She shrugged "You could always not, you know."

"Finally!" Jessica's voice chimed in over the hum of silence with a grating loudness. The girl was lugging a bag that looked much larger than she should be able to carry. Her hair was tied up in an intentionally sloppy half-bun and her nose and cheeks were still dotted with white smears of sunscreen that she hadn't quite succeeded in rubbing in. Despite the unkempt appearance, the lithe girl with the large duffel bag was glowing with anticipation. "It took me forever to scrounge up supplies!" Now as to what those supplies were, one could only guess. She dropped the burden to the ground and leaned over the runic circles with wide eyed, pursed lipped interest. "So this is the thing you were talking about, huh?"
