~Thunder cracked in the dark grey sky. Water formed an ocean around a small block of land. It extended out of the water as if pulled from the ground beneath the sea. On top of the block of land, a temple lay in ruins. The red wood splintered and shattered into tiny fragments. The stone of the walkways and tunnels cracked and destroyed. The clay, turned back into it's muddy substance. 1000 years ago, a great creature with unimaginable powers destroyed this temple. The temple used to be in the very middle of a city, a city that now surrounds it under the sea. Boat wreckage littered the sea, as their captains ran into the buildings below or crashed into the block of land. Their masts waving flags of an assortment of clans and countries.~
~A lone man, dressed in silver armor armor and wielding a long straight sword made of silver and magic, stood atop the protruding block of land. The cold wet grass swayed over his golden boots. His long black hair swayed to the right as well. It was so long that it reached his thighs when unmoved. His skin was pale as was his eyes. He was neither living nor dead. The Goddess of light had called him into the realm in between the dead and the living. He could still "die" though. That was the only draw back in the Goddess's plan. Clank noises could be heard as the Otogi started to saunter towards the Temple Ruins. His breath inhaled and exhaled slowly and silently. He walked up the destroyed walk way and into what would be the temple doors. Wreckage piled up like a cross. In the middle a broken container lay, shattered and torn open. The young Otogi kneeled beside it studying it. It was broken by the great creature no doubt, for this was where the Great Seal was hidden. He shook his head and stood. The sun broke through the dark grey clouds and shined brightly against his armor making it look golden.~
