~The boy smile as he wrapped his arms around her. The amulent around his neck flashed a briliant white as they disappeared once more. They then reappeared on a dirt road. Dead trees surrounding the road in which the boy and the girl stood. The young boy's light blue eyes searched for something that could not be seen at the moment. He let go of the girl and took a step back still smiling. He whistled, a sweet sound that seemed to echo through the dead forest. A moment later, wolves began to appear. They were altered in many ways though. They walked on their hind legs while their forelegs carried staffs, clubs, swords, and bows. They surrounded the two growling.~
"Today will be fulfilled with the start of your training. I can't just leave you in that darkened room all day now can I?"
~He turned his head to the right and nodded to a wolf with a pure white pelt. It carried a staff made of wood. It nodded back to the boy and advanced towards the girl.~

"EEK!" Kiria said, ducking down and covering her head.
----
Serenity rolled over a bit as Kail entered. She was sleeping soundly on her bed, wher once white sheets red with some blood.

~The boy shook his head and extended his left hand to the wolf. It stopped and growled at him. He walked forward and bent his knees. He raised his right hand to her chin, gently lifting it. He slowly kissed her then whispered in her ear.~
"You have nothing to fear. I will not let them hurt you seriously. Think of it this way, who would you rather be with? My master or me."

"You..." Kiria said, gulping down her nervousness and looking at the anthro wolf demon.
-----
Seernity woke up and smiled at Kail. "Hey...I wish you didnt have to see me like this..."

"all right... I've gotta go back to my room anyway to adjust the string on my bow..." and then he turned and left the room, heading back to his room across the alley.

Serenity sighed as he left and got up, moving over to her bathroom and filling the washing basin with steaming warm water. "I wonder..." She said outloud as she let her gown's fall to the floor around her ankles, then climbed inside the basin and submerged up to her chin in the steaming water.

Kail went to his room and got out his new bow, adjusting the string on it so it was tight enough to shoot smoothly, but wouldn't snap.

Serenity sighed as the caked up blood washed out of her hair, and off of her arm's and chin and leg's. She carresed her once blood-caked leg's, finding them silky-smooth as they once were. "What exactly happened back there..." She asked herself, as she stood up and grabbed a large robe that hung on the walled.
The bloody water sloshed about and spilled over the edges of the basin as she stood, making a small mess on the marble tiles. She held the robe tightly as she left the small bathroom and donned her usual gowns

Kail tested his bow by shooting arrows at a wall across the room, getting perfect accuracy.

As she left the sanctity of her room she was bombarded with reports and other such issues from her subordinate's. Even though her position was basically ceremonial they felt the need to bombard her with such things.
The only thing that really hit her was the report that stated they couldn't leave the city. "What do you mean we cannot leave?" She asked, "Our plan requires that we march at dawn....we cannot stay any longer, further delay shall give our enemy time to reinforce itself...and I do not trust sorcery..."
"I'll see what I can do ma'am but I doubt we'll be able to leave..." Her closesy advisor said, bowing and leaving. The plates of his shining white armor clinked softly as he walked off, barking at a group of scouts.
Serenity sighed and left the barracks, heading toward the market place.
