Lightning streaked accross the blood red sky, the blue-white streak disapearing quickly, replaced by a loud thunderous boom that resonated through the mountains. A single structure stood amongst the spine of the world, a massive volcanic mountain chain, it was a rather dark brooding structure, a castle.
Its many tower's jutting out like spikes from the earth, its wall's high and main gate set down, itself being an intricate set of giant black steel spikes, a green tint on them. The wall's themselves were lined with spikes, with that seem greenish tint to the metal, as well as red stain's.
A single tower stuck out from the rest, the largest and grandest of the other's. its turret alight with a greenish-orange glow. Another spark of lightning streaked accross the skie's above this tower, barely missing it as the thunderous boom replaced the emptiness left behind in the lightning's abscence.
Inside that tower a sinister deed was being done, a prophecy, one that would determine the fate of terra, was being read aloud to the Dark King himself, as he tortured the poor seer into giving him the information he wanted.
As tear's of blood poured from the poor girl's eye's, barely of age, she spilled the detail's of the prophecy in detail.
"The hilt of the sword..." She struggled, dieing slowly and painfully, "Combined with the blood of a goddess most pure...and the soul of one most dark...will...undoubtly...bring about Terra's uter devastation in the hands of one...such as yourself...a half human king..." The girl coughed up some blood, as the man before her nudged her face with his foot.
She was bound to the wall and being held up with chain's. She looking to be about the age of 14, wearing a tattered white gown, covered in her own blood spilled the detail's of the rest of the prophecy on his demand, and a sinister smile parted his lip's.
With her last breath she finished the prophecy with the coming of his own demise. "The power you seek...shall...destroy...you..." A smile on her lip's, she died. coughing up the rest of her blood and falling limp, the chain's pulling her arm's back.
"So be it..." The man in dark said, laughing maniacly. "I will bring about the end for all other's...and this power I seek...shall only destroy my flesh." He said, giving the girl's limp body one final kick with his foot, tearing into her chest. Still laughing he turned around, and a little man carrying flasks walked in the room after him.
Smiling he walked to his throne and took a seat, a large mirror filling the space between the room he had just come from and himself. He stared into it, that same victorious smile worn on his face.

The birds chirped and sang fluttering about in the clear blue sky over the small village of Horrandal. A tiny farming village nestled in the lower region of the mountainous spine of the world. A crowd gathered in the town square, surrounding a woman drapped in white with silver hair, and a group of noble knight's.
They applauded and shouted cries of praise at her, and she simply smiled at them. Just her being there seemed to brighten their otherwise dreary and brooding mood's. Serenity didn't quite understand it, but still did her best to aid the town.
"I must leave you now...but I shall return!"
The white goddess said through crie's of 'Please don't go!' and 'just one more night pleease!'. She nodded and replied after a short while.
"As long as you remain pure of heart, evil shall not triumph over you...please, be safe and fare thee well!"
She said as her horse started slowly trotting forward, the crowd parting to allow her leave.
Outside the town a small army of soldiers in silver armor had ammassed in formation, mounted atop small horses. Men and women alike in rank's. She smiled at each of them and took her place amongst the senior officer's gathered at the head of this large block.
