A warm, somewhat cloudy spring day in Osaka. The birds chirped in the air, and every now and then a car would pass by the school. But nothing too out of the ordinary was happening. The teen's sat at their desks, some taking notes, some goofing off, some staring off into space....
Which brings us to one of the girl's in this class. A girl from a distant, and now nearly gone country. Gosonika. A country plagued by a never ending civil war. All brought about over a simple...
"Book..."
Margerette quickly snapped out of her daze and back to reality as she heard the teacher start yelling at them. "How many times have I told you to bring your book Toshi! This is the last straw, detention this afternoon." He said, as the rest of the students shuffled in their seats and took out their math book's.
Math was definitely not her best subject. Numbers didn't come easily to her, in fact they scared her alot. She pulled out her notebook, which was basically a collection of scribbles that vaguely resembled numbers, and opened it to a fresh page. The teacher nodded to the class and began lecturing again. "Open up your books to page two-hundred and thrity-four." He said, taking out a peice of chalk and started jotted what looked like gibberish on the board.
Margerette opened her math text book to the page and sighed, taking out her pencil and drawing something on the fresh page in her notebook. It wasn't long before she had a strange picture drawn, and it certainly took her mind off of the teacher.
The picture was drawn very good, but it scared her. It was a woman, a very beautiful woman, with a bony claw for a hand, and a red jewel-like eye. She was wearing a long flowing red gown a feather boa, and a tipped fedora(wide-brimmed hat rich girls often wear.). Her face was quite excelent as well, big pouty lips, perfect features. But she was scowling...
The teacher paused for a moment, looking at all the studnets in the room, digilently doing their work, before continueing on with the lecture. Margerette continued to stare at her picture, and the room seemed to darken a bit.
"Huh?" She breathed, looking around quickly, before reutrning to the drawing of the woman. The people around her were all still mindlessly doing their work, but no longer seemed to be alive... there was...something amiss. As she looked back to the picture she gasped in terror and shock. The woman was now holding a severed head in her claw hand, and smiling widely. but no, that wasn't what scared her. What scared her was the fact that it wasn't just some random head...it was the head of her teacher.
She screamed in blind terror and jumped out of her seat, the room returning to color quite quickly. When she 'came to' all the students were in similar stances, some gasping some screaming and some crying.
For at the front fo the room...a now headless Teacher lay dead on the floor, the last numbers written on the board, jsut after his apparent death were. 647, the seven being elongated from when he fell and the chalk broke. Blood ran thick down the board, and the mans severed head was nowhere to be found, but...little Margerette knew were it was...
