"Why would you want to keep me here? Bore me to death?" Aldur said half jokeingly

Kyra looked back between the two. "My name's Kyra. Stay if you want, I know little of the place."
She looked back again at Aldur. It was tempting to follow him. She usually traveled alone, and that wasn't much fun. Though, he was rather moody.
She looked again at Aislin. "All I can tell ya' is that it's basically like every other human city. Stinks, and the people are blind."
Again she considered following Aldur when he left, or perhaps asking Aislin if she wanted to come. But no, Aislin would follow if she wanted to. And Aldur was avoiding them. She turned to leave.

"How are people blind?" came a childlike voice fromm the darkness.

Kyra spun and peered into the dark. A human, she knew, would not be able to see past the veil. But no mere human was she, and she saw someone sitting there.
"Go home kid." She said, and continued on.

"Home is where the heart says it is and my heart says it is here," the young man said with a smile.
"Are you going to answer my question?" he said peering innocently out of the darkness....

Aislin smiled at this new child. "You are not all you seem. Enlighten me. You are no average human or else you would be blind to these two." She sized the young one up. 'Oh, Aldur. I hope you back off this one.' She thought.

Aldur had been waiting silently even when the new voice came. He thought that nothing would come of it but even if it did he would have no problem fighting.

Kyra looked closer at the man.
"Aislin's right. You ain't normal." she smiled. "I say the people are blind because most don't bother to look. Which suits me just fine."
She scanned him again. "No, you ain't quite normal. What's your name, kid?"

The young man stood up and emerged from the shadows.
Still smiling," The name's Reinos, nice to meet all of you. And your definition of normal is what. Two eyes, two legs, two arms. If you go by that, then I am normal."
As he finished, his smile turned into a grin.

"Heh, normal has a more in depth definition than I care to explain." Kyra said. "And you know, I'm suddenly almost tempted to stay here a bit longer. But I like cleaner air and plenty of space to wander, not walls of concrete all round. Should you decide you wouldn't mind wandering the land, and you don't mind night travel, you are very welcome to join me."
She winked at him and continued on.

Raff had spent his weeks in town as a boulder. No one had seen him and he liked it that way. He watched the conversation at the fountain with great interrest. These beings were about to embark on a journey and he had a feeling it would be worth watching. He might even join in.
"Is that invitation open to all who are present, or only those you have seen?" With that Raff revealed himself to the small group by the fountain.

Again Kyra turned.
"Well, people just keep poppin' up all over the place!" She laughed. "Actually, I was talking to, um... Reinos, right? Yeah, I was talking to Reinos over here. But I really don't care who comes with, so long as they don't complain."

Aldur started heading away from the town again having gotten bored again. He decided to leave weither anyone followed him or not.

"I shall try not to complain if you would be gracious enough to accept my company. I am called Raff." He was glad to be accepted as a companion so easily, but a little worried as well. Who were these people that they accepted companions without so much as a name first?

"Awright. Well, if you're comin', then hurry, old man." And she continued on the way she had begun. She wouldn't turn back again.
