Ka'ze laughed, "maybe. It just feels like I should help them, I don't often kill humans for their blood uh...speaking of that. Maybe there's a nearby town, I'm starving." he chuckled lightly.

'You're too concerned over what you think you should do. Look after yourself and the heck with everyone else. And stopping would be a good idea, I''m starting to get a headache.' Avery ran a hand through his hair and started to actually pay attention to the signs on the sides of the road.

Ka'ze shrugged, "I dunno. You're probably right I should take care of myself for once, but it feels right to me. I dunno, never technically being alive in the eyes of others, sometimes makes you appreciate the fact that you can give or take away life, and I tend to give it. Look, " he pointed ahead, "there's a town there, a brief stop, then we're on our way again."

'Hmm....' Avery shook his head. He had never felt any remorse for killing before, why should he? The world had dealt him a bad hand so he was making the best of it. He had a miserable life shot through every now and then with it's bright spots, but they were never the same as truely being happy. 'Whatever floats your boat, Silver,' Avery laughed. He quickly turned off the highway into the outskirts of the town.

Ka'ze shrugged, " pull over there." he pointed to a garage, " we can keep the car there for awhile."

Avery quickly manuevered the car into the garage, put it in park, and pulled the keys out of the ignition. He tossed them to Ka'ze and grinned. 'So, you know these hunting grounds, or what? Needless to say, I don't.'

"Truthfully," Ka'ze smiled, "I've never been here before in my life, but it won't be too hard to locate the major things : bar, police station, the other bar, and a motel. Those usually tend to have the most people. So wanna check those out, or find an area with good people?" Ka'ze stepped out of the car, shoving his keys in his pocket.

'Me? 'Good' people?' Avery laughed, 'Yeah, rethink that a little. A LOT, really. I like the live ones, if you know what I mean. I mean REALLY alive.' The vampire's eyes flashed dangerously. 'Ah, but you probably have more refined tastes. So, lead the way, Silver.' He bowed and gestured for Ka'ze to go first.

Ka'ze shrugged, "I always thought that the people who have been drinking have blood that's slightly more sour than usual, sometimes it's sweet. What do you prefer?" Ka'ze smiled, and looked around. " oh, and do you usually go for male, or female? Both have their ups and downs."

'Charmin' the ladies is what I do best. Guys don't dig me. Can't say I blame them,' Avery rolled his eyes. 'Which is fine with me.' He grinned and crossed his arms over his chest. 'Well..... are we goin', or what?'

Ka'ze nodded and stalked off, his eyes slightly narrowed, looking around. He walked to the center of town, and saw a large gathering, opening his eyes, and looking slightly more casual, he walked forward, and looked around. *there must be someone good here*. He spotted a young female, maybe 20, and walked over to her, smiling slightly, and starting a conversation.
(the conversation isn't too important.)

Yawning, Avery followed Ka'ze and watched, grinning as he found his prey. The hunt is half the fun. Silver takes things too seriously. He quickly took up his usual position of leaning against the wall. I'd rather wait for the meal to come to me. Like delivery service, he thought, laughing lightly.

Ka'ze smiled, and the girl smiled back, laughing softly. He was easliy getting the girl to trust him, and now made the suggestion of finding a good place to eat, since he hadn't for awhile, of course she had no idea to his true meaning. They walked away from the crowd, and he lead her towards an alley, saying he had a friend there who could get them into a good place to eat. *god are humans theses days stupid or what?* he thought, mentally smirking, while physically, he was smiling gently, and caring.

'Something funny? A penny for your thoughts?' Avery turned his head and found himself face to face with a chick his age. (Or what would have been is age had he a normal lifespan.) She had shoulder length straight black hair and grey eyes. Her breath had the smell of alcohol on it, but that was fine with Avery. I like sour, he thought.
'I'll give you a dollar for yours, my dear,' he smiled amiably and brushed his hair out of his eyes.
'Well.....' a smile curved across her lips 'I was just thinking what lovely eyes you have.'
'What d'ya say we get outta here?' Avery grinned. She would do just fine. 'Find somewhere to have some fun. Know any good bars? Clubs? I'm not from around here.'
'So I guessed. Otherwise I would have noticed you. Yes, I know some places to have some fun. Follow me.' She turned and led Avery away from the building. He cast a glance over his shoulder and spied Ka'ze leading away his own victim. Avery knew he needn't wrry, as he was sure he and Ka'ze would be able to find each other, even if they ended up on the opposite sides of town. Besides, he was hungry.

Tia let the girl slide down to the ground, her head making a hallow thud on the concrete. She ran her tongue over her lips. She always loved the blood when it was laced with fear and just a bit of nicotine.
She cleaned her face and tossed the body into a nearby trashcan. She sauntered under the neonlight of the street lamp, her eyes glancing around her. She espied a familiar figure walking into an alley, arms linked. She shook her head in disbelief. Humans could be so gullible at times. It was quite amazing to her.
She leaned against the building as she waited for him to come out of the alley.
