(((V- Crazy, crazy, crazy whoo!!!)))
'Sure that's true, but I myself prefer human blood. It's so much more satisfying taking them out, the ignorant scum,' Avery paused and thought a moment, 'but I suppose that's what makes half the fun.' His eyes glinted dangerously in the half-light. Avery laughed, but it soon turned into a arely audible growl at the thoght of sinking his teeth into soft flesh and tasting the sharp irony essence of blood. Clearing his throat, he glanced back at Ka'ze and burst out laughing againb, for no reason in particular other than the world was a d**n funny place sometimes. 'I still think you're a fool, Silver,' he reminded the man next to him, rather randomly.

(Ze-lol) Ka'ze shrugged, "I know I'm a fool, but I'm happy this way. Being a fool gets me through life everyday instead of becoming a vegetable and waiting for a hunter to come and kill me. I like being a fool, even if it means ignoring the truth at times."

Avery shook his head and sighed. 'But there is no truth, remember?' he laughed gleefully. 'By the way,' he managed in between gulping for air, 'why are you still here? I thought I'd have scared you off by now.' Avery regarded the man in front of him cooly. 'oh, right, you want my help.... Got a little far off the topic there, didn't we? Ah well, no matter. You have still made no offer and i have still made no demand. And I still think you're a fol and you think I'm insane. Rightfully so, I might add. And while we're on the subject of hope, well, there's no use hoping for the hopeless.' (((Urg... not this again..... )))

Ka'ze stared at Avery, "I never said you were crazy, you're kinda extreme, but I don't think you're crazy. And besides a good kill, I can offer you cash, and maybe a few rounds of drinks if ya want." Ka'ze laughed a bit.

'Oh, but you were thinking it, Silver. I know you were. Everyone thinks it, they just don't say it. Hell, I even think it, but I like it. So just admit it, because I'd be offende if you insisted on calling me 'extreme.'' Avery snickered at Ka'ze's offer. 'Drinks, eh? And what's so special about those? I can get 'em any time, though it takes a light touch.' He didn't know if Ka'ze had guessed his age, but he was nineteen when he was bitten by a vampire. Back when? Avery couldn't remeber. Not since he had lost all semblance of sanity he had possessed. however, he thought it was sometime back in the 1800's or somethin'. Moving with the times was easy and so far, these past couple of years had been the best yet. Maybe because he had finally reached the peak of his mindlessness. Who knew? 'And I can kill and get money on my own too, once again, that light touch, ' Avery snickered.

Ka'ze shrugged, and laughed, "I could be your friend, but I doubt you'd want that. I've never known anyone who wanted that."

Avery blinked and stared at Ka'ze, caught totally off guard and rather bewildered. 'Friend? Uhm... right....' he blinked again, considering the idea. Friendship (Genuine OR false.) could be a powerful tool when used correctly. But then again, it could also go the opposite way, and Avery couldn't have that, even if he was lonely in his insanity. He had never really noticed the isolation before, so busy was he getting drunk (though not legally) and doing whatever other weird activity that crossed his mind. If he had ignored it for this long, Avery was sure he could continue to ignore it for...however long he managed to live.
'I uhm... don't really do friends. Too many risks involved. They're not worth it either. growing close to someone is just as dangerous as the strings they attatch to your relationship.' Not that I've ever had one to judge by.... 'Besides, I'm insane, I could crack and kill you like that,' Avery snapped his fingers to make his point. 'And not feel any remorse whatsoever. My horoscopes always say I'm highly volatile like that, y'know? And the stars never lie 'cause they showed me I was gonna meet someone today.' Avery shrugged and glanced down at his hand, finally noticing it was bleeding. He wiped it off on his pants and watched as it bled some more, not really caring whether it stopped or not. Contrary to popular belief, (And much to Avery's dissapointment.) that speedy healing stuff only worked if you were born a vampire, not bitten and turned into one. He had often wondered about that, and still wondered as he stared down blankly at his hand.

Tia braced the crossbow on her shoulder as she aimed at the target on the wall. Pressing the tigger, the bolt flew towards the target, hitting the bulls-eye.
She grinned as she held it before her. "Its a work of art Siaus. What other goodies have you kept for me?" She placed the crossbow unto the dark wood table, along side with a display of knives, daggers and swords.
Siaus took a long drag on his cigarette as he watched her examine a knife with care. She seemed quite happy with the knife and the crossbow. "I'll just keep these." She handed Siaus over a small cloth bag. He peeked in and nodded satisfied. "I don't suppose you got a few Rolex in there?" Tia's eyes glinted, "Naturally. I know you prefer them."
Tia pulled the crossbow into a bag and the knife into its sheath. Hoisting the bag she looked around at Siaus as he said, "Do me a favour. If there's a fight about to happen here, give me a warning ahead. And take care of your hide."
She nodded, "I will. I've heard rumors but they are just that." She smirked, "The upside of being born a vampire, taking care of myself isn't very hard."

"Yeah, I know the risks with friends, that's why I don't have many...in fact I'm not sure if I have any..." he shrugs, " I think I just have acquaintances, but it does get lonely occasionally, of course, living for so long, you're bound to get lonely. But as for your level of sanity, I don't care. I've known plenty of things, humans vampires, anything, that was in some sense crazy. But who really defines crazy, you could be perfectly sane, and everyone else be insane. Nobody really knows the meaning of things like that."

Avery's head snapped up in laughter, 'Ah, join the club, Silver!!! Friends are for people who can't handle not having friends.' He thought of asking how long Ka'ze had been around, but this was a matter of business, not idle chit-chat. Avery shrugged and looked at the man in front of him helplessly, 'Sorry, but it seems you have nothing to offer me.' In spite of himself, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. The stars never lied, and they had had an aura of companionship around them last night. Ah, hell, maybe I should just go with him. Seems like Silver really needs my help, or at least enjoys my company, otherwise he wouldn't have put up with me.
'Yeah, sure I'll come. Where'd you say we were going again?'

Ka'ze smiled slightly, "first I'm heading into the hills, nearby. There's a werewolf problem, along with a few other things. Then I was planning on heading to Anexville, Tia will be there, and I wanted a chance to see how other vampires are doing in this day and age."

'Annexville?' Anxiety crept into Avery's voice as he fought back a shudder. 'Uhm... why there?'

Ka'ze got suspicious,"...I have a package to pick up. Some more bullets. I found someone there who has some, and I'm gonna get em. Then I'll have some spare time, and I wanted to talk to you and Tia." He stared at Avery, "why? something wrong with that town?"

Avery just stared at Ka'ze, wide-eyed. 'No... not really. Can I, uhm... pick up a few things first? From my apartment, y'know? It won't take long.' He fidgeted nervously with one of the buckles on his pants, suddenly seeming rather pale. Well, more pale than he had been at any rate.
