Woot! Fallout section ^o^ So yeah... who's up for one? XD I'm kinda busy, so the pacing will be rather relaxed, but I'll try hard to keep a decent pace going ^^ Likely not going to be related to anything that the games have done, but will stick to the "cannon" stories ( including and limited to: Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas; maybe even include elements of the planned-but-cancelled Fallout Van Buren *w* ) within the universe, and kinda ignore what happened in off-shoot games (such as Fallout: Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel, since those have some cannon-based issues, such as gas-powered vehicles and factions not behaving properly, I think >.>). Not sure where to start, but probably someplace close to - but not exactly in - where said games take place. For a good resource/reference site to brush up on or introduce yourself to these fantastic games, and the universe surrounding them, feel free to visit The Vault, a wiki site that is literally everything-Fallout ^^ |

Okay, I'd like to, but I truly do not know the Fallout history, location, or any sort of information. I found Fallout and Fallout 2, so I think I'll try and play through them relatively speedily, but my knowledge would definitely be hampered. I'd still be willing to try it though. Want to give me a basic run-down and then we'll conjure characters and attempt to start it? I'm itching for a lively RP.

Sorry for double post... but I played through most of the first Fallout tonight and I read a bit of the wiki as well, so I know what goes on in that one. I think I'll mess around with the second Fallout as well. So, yeah, let me know if you want to start it up.  |

Yeah... school's handing my arse back to me right now, and for at least the next two weeks >_> Doubly so since I couldn't find a d**ned thing about the research paper that we are supposed to do... until I looked in the syllabus this week and finally found it =___= Bad place for something so important, if you ask me, especially since I've NEVER had a teacher that didn't give a separate binder-full of writing about what their student's research paper should be on >_>
Also, I'm helping someone from another forum get their site up and running, plus I'm busy on said other forum... and I'm trying to survive work after some nasty s#!^ hit the fan this past week, so yeah @____@
At least it's nice to know that there's people interested.... I'll see if I can come up with something. My idea would be that the placement would be somewhere around maybe Texas, one of the places that hasn't really been looked into much yet in the series >.< Or hell... Florida... mutant gators XDD

lol, mutant gators, very nice. I'm livin' in Florida right now. Kinda ironic... anyways, yeah, sounds good to me. I'd love to try somethin' out. Hey, what site is it? I might see if I can't hop in and liven things up a bit as well, perhaps. Lemme know. And I'm up for the RP whenever you are. Best to send me a PM just to make sure... even though this seems to be one of the only active threads on here. OOOOH, actually, if you want... I have another RP as well... and we could do it there... it'd be less cluttered (this place seems a bit busy.. as in, visually... for the little activity that there is here). However it's up to you. This is my forum. If you wanna hop in there, I can easily make a Fallout section for us. Lemme know.  |

well, the place I'm helping at is still under construction at the moment... still building the systems and stuff, though about 75% of the initial stuff is behind us O.o I'll ask (since it's not my place), but I don't think the guy would mind another hand in the process. Would definitely help to speed things up - as is, it's been about three weeks and we've only gotten this far XD
Since despite having been around here for a bit over 3 years I still don't exactly know what the policy is on kidnapping members for use as slaves on other forums posting links and stuff to different sites, I'll toss a PM your way if you're still interested >_>
I will warn you, though, that its set up on Zetaboards servers; be wary of and ready for random loading slowdown >.< Happens at least once a day to me, for no apparent reason at all...
EDIT: I do know that at least one of the Fallout games thus far has taken place down South (more specifically, the Point Lookout expansion for FO3), but that's in Louisiana I think... Still, either Texas (or around there) or Florida.
