She shrugged at his suggestion to slow down. She really didn't care.
"Yeah... I have a case of amnesia. Couldn't remember my name or anything." She pointed to her shirt, which said Junior Lifeguard on it, "Sully said to call me JL, but Karina thought LJ sounded better." She took another sip, then placed the bottle next to her in the sand, "I know what my name is now... I remembered, like, right before you woke up. But I haven't told anyone. Besides, LJ sounds much cooler."
She looked him over.
"Are you sure you don't want a drink? You look like you need it."

LJ watched him eat with slight interest. She took another swig of her liquor, then got up and walked over to him.
"You said your name was Chris?" she said, offering him the bottle, "The other girl is Karina. I'm... They call me LJ."
Whether or not he wanted her to be there, she didn't really care. She plopped down in the sand next to him in her slightly drunken and depressed state.
"We've all got our little jobs here: Sully's the boss; tells us what to do, Jason's the doc slash second in command, then Karina and she kinda does the food thing... then me." She took another long drink of her alcohol, feeling the effects spread over her body in a tingle.

As soon as LJ heard about the liquor bottles, she started off towards them. She returned to where she had been sitting and popped one open. She took a second to glance at everyone before taking a drink.
"If you started when you were 16, it won't hurt your feelings if a 17 year old drank some," she stated, without looking at anyone.

LJ shrugged. She remembered things, but she wasn't in a hurry to share them.
"A few... It's not really important though," she said, obviously skimming around the subject.

((LJ isn't Rosy... *confused*))

LJ followed her and sat down next to her. She didn't say anything, just sat.
((dunno what to post, sorry...))

LJ got off her pity horse and approached Karina, sincerely concerned.
"Are you okay?" she asked quickly, going to her knees.

"Uh... His name's Joe and he was, like, my best friend..." LJ thought hard for a moment, joy bouncing all over her face, "Um... We hung out all the time. I think he was my boyfriend even! And..." Her smile faded from her face, replaced with a look of pain and confusion. "He died."

LJ giggled at the thought of Jason jamming a tampon up his nose.
"My friend Joe had to do that once when we were camping out. He nearly died of embarras..."
LJ cut off and smiled gleefully.
"I remembered something else!"
She did a little jump and hugged Karina.

The kids scattered into the forest, scared away by Sully.
"I'm sorry," she said quietly, staring at her feet, "I shouldn't have wandered off. I'm supposed to be smarter than that... I think..."
As O'Connell found a makeshift cane, LJ looked into the trees, hoping to see the children again. After a quick inhale, she asked, more to herself than anyone else, "Who do you think those kids were? Why, and how, are they here?"

"Stop!" LJ sputtered as O'Connell charged into the clearing, "O'Connell, stop! I'm fine!"
She jumped onto her feet as Jason charged, somewhat pathetically, into the clearing as well.
"Stop! They're just kids!" she shouted louder as Sully drew his knife. She reached out and grabbed his arm.
The kids were in terror. LJ couldn't blame them; O'Connell scared the sh** out of her at the moment as well.

LJ looked around helplessly again, hoping for something familiar. But the trees all looked the same to her. She groaned in frustration and sat down on a log, trying to remember where she was.
"Was I just imagining the voices?" she asked herself, holding her head in her hands, resting her elbows on her knees, "They sounded so real."
At that moment, she heard what sounded like a giggle. Slowly, carefully, she raised her head. A pair of small, childlike eyes peered back at her. She let out a bloodcurdling scream as three more children entered the clearing.

((Sorry for my absence))
LJ walked through the woods, stumbling over roots occasionally. She had heard a voice and she was determined to find who it belonged to.
"Hello?" she called into the trees, "Is anyone there?"
She stood for several minutes, hoping for a response, but none came. Discouraged, she turned around to head back to camp.
"Um..."
LJ stared into the woods hopelessly.
"Crap... I'm lost..."
((Hope that's ok, lol. And sorry for disappearing!))

LJ paled at the thought of dead bodies.
"I think I'll stay here," she said, murmuring something under her breath about smelly corpses.

LJ thought for a while, rolling the word through her mind.
"Does it have something to do with popcorn?" she said suddenly, grinning hopefully at Karina.
