Aras only gaped a second longer before getting a hold of herself. " Well, maybe...somewhere less...are you sure?" Her eyes narrowed. " You're not just making that up cause you're trying to get away with a cheap evening are you?"

"Hey, you work for Lanchester, too. There's no such thing as an expensive evening on this kind of salary," Allistaire said with a smile.

Aras huffed and crossed her arms, but a hint of smile touched her lips, however much she tried to glare at him. " Oh give it up," Sara teased her sister. " Lets just go to Chong's, that's more our kind of place." Chong's was a somewhat seedy little Asian bar and bbq joint known for cheap drinks, spicy food, and skimpily dressed wait staff.

Remembering their destination, Jehanna blushed slightly and continued walking. "Sorry," she said to Lira.

"Chong's? Perfect," Allistaire said as he kicked back his third gin. He liked Chong's. Not only for the aforementioned waitress staff, but because it was a culture that he'd never really known.

" I hate chinese food..." Aras whined. Sara rolled her eyes. " Oh whatever, every time we've gone there, you've gotten so tanked you couldn't taste the food anyway."
" Don't worry about it," Lira said. It took just a moment longer to reach Jenna's quarters. " Now go get some sleep," she told the younger woman. She smirked at Jenna. " You think you can manage from here on?"

Jenna's lower lip protruded slightly; her expression was half-annoyed and half-amused at the joke. "Yeeees," she said in a childlike tone, opening the door to her room. She stepped inside her room, hesitated, then turned back around with a more serious look on her face. "Thank you," was all she said before the door slid closed.

The UESA battleship and the Lanchester stealthship peeled off in opposite directions from each other. The UESA forces were heading outward, to the extreme orbits of the coloneys, to one colony in perticular, Babylon. It had been the staging ground for the operation, the colonists hadn't liked it, but they didn't have much say in things anyway. Some of the colonies were supporting that rediculous Colonial Freedom Movement group, but no one in the UESA took them seriously. The Lanchester forces were heading inward, towards Asgard, almost a colony itself. The orbital structure was the largest man-made satilite inside the orbit of the moon, five times again as large as the orbital defense platforms, and rumor had it that it was just as well armed. It was a relatively short trip, coasting down the gravity well, only four hours till dock, a bare half the time it would take the UESA battleship to climb up the well to Babylon.
So it was the Lanchester pilots were well rested, recovered, and on their way out to Chong's by the time the UESA ship was even starting it's docking manuever. Aras had gone and invited Claude to come along if he wanted, and she hoped he would show up. John had declined, which was little surprise. The man was a decent companion at times, but he made little effort to socialize. And for some reason, Aras didn't feel like engaging in the twin's usual sport of trying to drive Allistaire crazy, she could use someone else to talk to.
Lira was waiting by one of the airlocks, waiting. She felt impatient to get off the flying bathtub, sometimes the small hallways and cramped living quarters just became too much for her, and she longed for the wide open space of the colonies, or better yet when she could get there, earth.

Having agreed to come along, mostly because he had nothing else to do, Claude was waiting at the door to get outside. As usual, he was still wearing his suit, but instead of carrying his helmet around he had collapsed it and stored it in the back compartment of his suit. He was glad he had shelled out the extra cash for having his helmet made to be collapsible. He was the first of the Chong's-bound group to arrive at the main exit of the ship, and he had gotten there before the ship had even finished docking. He picked up his weapons on the way out the door, putting each piece in its compartment, and stood outside, waiting for the rest of the group.

When not in his MS, Allistaire chose to wear a grey suit with the jacket sleeves rolled a quarter way up, and a white shirt with a black tie, the shirt sleeves rolled up as well. the attire revealed his military tattoo on his forearm, something he was proud of. He also had a pistol in the inside pocket of his jacket. He arrived second at the ship's main exit, seeing Claude still in his armor. "So, you been taking company contracts for long?" he asked casually.

Claude looked over at Allistaire "I've been a merc for as long as this war's been going on. It certainly pays well, and I've always got stuff to do. Not a bad gig."

"Yeah, I can imagine," Allistaire replied. "Hell, I signed on with Lanchester for the pay and the free toys." He cracked his neck and waited for the others to show up.

The Twins were a few minutes late, which was usual for them. Most people believed they did it on purpose, seeing how perfect their sense of timing was during missions, and the fact that they were only ever a few minutes late, just enough to make someone know they were waiting for them to show up. Their hair was bright red now, hanging in half foot long spikes, with a thick braid over a shoulder. They had spend a good deal extra cash for quick mod options on their bodies, and their hair was only one of the options. They both also sported a series of tribal tattoos, thanks to pigment adjusters in their skin, which ran up and down their arms, across their shoulders, and their lower backs. And they showed the tats off gloriously by wearing little more than a mid-drift exposing tube top and torn blue jeans. " Boy, if we aren't the oddest looking group I've ever seen," Aras commented, looking over Claude in his half armor, Allistaire in his suit, jacket, and tie, and herself and her sister in ragged jeans and snug tops. Sara laughed. " Eh, it's not like anyone will notice at Chongs."

(um... Claude is wearing all of his armor except the helmet... how's that half? half would be just the fused section, and he doesn't show that part very often, and would never go that way in public)
"So what's this Chong's place like? I've never been on Asgard before...or at least not at a time when I could go looking around." Claude looked around a bit, trying to figure out what kind of colony Asgard was.

"Chong's? Well, it's Chinese," Allistaire said with a grin. He popped on his sunglasses to shield his overly sensitive eyes--a side effect of his genetic enhancement-- from the glaring light bouncing off of the Colony's Titanium plating. "And as for Asgard, think of it as a floating New York City."
