Name: Galius Vansen Race: ?? Height: 5'11'' Weight: 150 lbs Appearance: Galius is a slender, muscular man who wears many scars, particular those across his chest and back from the battle with his own brother. On his head is a leather hat that sags around his head like it has seen much weathering, he wears a leather jacket and blue jeans, and a T-shirt underneath. His hair is black and just long enough to reach the back of his neck. He also has a beard of stubble, but his most notable feature is his stone-cold face and his fire red eyes. Personality/History: Galius is a very quiet man, and he rarely ever speaks, even to those he has begun to trust. He is neither good, nor seemingly evil, he just has a searing anger and vengeance, and a hatred for humanity. He has only ever felt any caring for two people, both of which were slain in his home city-state, Varamen. Once they were avenged, he left the city to wander the uncharted wilderness. He feels no remorse for killing, and seems to care little for those whom he fought alongside to "save" Varamen. Seemingly driven in the fight by only bloodlust and vengeance, he is a very difficult person to read, if it is even possible. Abilities: Extremely fast, Deadly accurate with a bow. Has the ability to "Phase-shift." A technique that allows him to transcend time, and move as if all time around him was stopped. He can only stay in that state for a short time, and cannot use the move too often for fear of losing control and being stuck in the timeless "shifted state."
Also, Unknown abilities for his race (Read the end of the last thread to understand what it means).
More will be revealed as the thread develops.

Name: Cross Race: Unknown (Looks human, sorta) Height: 6'0" Weight: 140 lbs
Appearance: Cross has an athletic physique and long black hair. He has a completely black eyes which give away the fact that he is not exactly human. He wears dark brown clothes, almost black and are loose enough to provide him with the flexibility to move around. He dons a cloak of the same colour that looks like it has seen better days.
Personality/History: Cross doesn't remember anything about himself besides waking up in the dark forests outside Varamen with no recollection on who or what he was, or his age, or his name or why he was like this. He has lived in the wilderness for years, he stopped counting a long time ago. He couldn't even make a guess if he wanted to, seeing as he hadn't aged or couldn't at least see any physical signs of it. He doesn't seem to need food to survive though he eats anyway no and again. He encountered a traveling seer of some kind some years ago who taught him how to calm himself through meditation. He hadn't required to sleep since then which could lead to your death in the wilderness.
He doesn't talk about his feelings much though he is a lost 'soul' in the world who doesn't seem to have any purpose or sides to pick. He stays out of the way of anyone who dares to travel through the wilderness unless he is threatened. He is irritated by the fact that he doesn't know anything about himself or what his purpose is. So he just survives waiting for something.
Abilities: An extremely good hunter and tracker, even in the ever changing wilderness. His body houses two, black bladed whips with spear ends that exit out of the middle of his back. The 'metal' of the whips can rip through mostly anything though he has found out that, it is connected to how well he is rested and how much energy he has. His shirt has a rip in the back which shows the black spine he seemed to show if he is not wearing his cloak. Most of the time, the blades strike from under the cloak. They also allow him to reach heights or parts of the wilderness which are not possible unless you had climbing equipment
(In short the blade from Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones)

*tell me if this works or not ^-^" character is somewhat of a compilation of a few ideas*
Name: Nalti (literally 'Misfortune') Courvenstance Age: 17 Gender: Female Race: Human(?)
Appearance: thin as a rail, and short to boot, she barely has any muscle save for her legs, but her deadly pale skin is marked with runes here and there, and she carries some sort of dark aura about her; eyes that are always covered by a black bandanna, so color is unknown; long, soft hair, black as midnight; brown, woolen stocking cap worn crooked with a white rose vine pattern weaved into the rim, possibly signifying her as part of some sort of order; wears common, plain clothes under several waves of purple silk; rarely seen without a walking stick, a small dagger that was her mother's (before she was killed, which lead up to Nalti's blinding and banishment), and her lute
A small, purplish cloud follows her everywhere; it is, in fact, the powered-down 'setting' of a sentry demon, Izuket, bound to the girl when she was merely a child to protect her. It also acts as her 'eyes', although her seemingly unnatural gift to detect the presence of others even if they sneak up on her is what she primarily uses. One would be surprised to know that her hearing is actually native to her, and not the result of demonic tampering or anything of that ilk; her ability to sense emotions and track them, however, is unknown in origin...
Abilities: summons Izuket's different forms through her lute's tunes, ranging from the mundane to the outright terrifying; can stir emotions and effects in beings, such as fear, charm, anger, etc., with music; seemingly inhuman hearing; can detect specific 'auras', or strong emotions- seems eerily enough to know generally where someone or something is within a certain distance of her (certain training can, however prevent this, as she namely relies upon hearing); other abilities remain to be seen
Attitude/Annals: Having lived her life 'blind' and in wandering since she was a young girl (although whether her sight has truly been taken from her or not is yet to be seen, but she certainly acts very blind most often), Nalti seems to be a fairly helpless young woman with somewhat expensive clothing... until she summons some lesser demon from the depths of Hell to save her butt. Sometimes sincere- especially towards children and older adults- and sometimes sarcastic and snarky, her attitude shifts like the wind, as inconsistent as her steps are. She rarely acts out directly in violence, but always gets other beings to do her dirty work for her, whether it be defending her or attacking someone whom she might want dead.
Every time she summons, the markings on her body glow slightly, and depending upon the strength of it, she could be drained. What their connection to her abilities and past is, as of yet, unknown. She wanders the wilderness, surviving only by the barest necessities possible. However, with the coming of the Strange One (Galius), events transpire that pull her away from the life she'd been living, and possibly onto something of greater meaning... or greater peril. Frail from her years of starvation, she is physically weak, but that doesn't seem to keep her from living, even as her body continues to waste away, eventually cursed to wither away, a fate she seems to carry well, if deceptively so...
