*Rachel briefly glanced up at him, nodding a little.* "Good enough... And did you finish all of your house work?" *She nearly smirked at that but refrained from doing so.*

"some of it. Not all. I didn't feel like doing all of it yesterday, so I'll have to finish tonight before I go to sleep." he shrugged.

*Rachel shook her head lightly, lowering her gaze to the pages in front of her again.* "I don't know how you can stand it..."

"All of the boring work that you seem to do..." *She lifted a hand to tuck her hair behind her ear so that she could see the pages more clearly.*

"it's what I have to do. If I don't, then my life would fall apart. The house would get rundown, I would lose my job. Be poor, maybe lose the house. There's alot of consequences for not doing ones job. Every once in awhile I get time to relax, but that's generally if I do all my work for the week. which I can't do during the week, due to work. So I have to do it in Sunday, which isn't the best idea, since it's a day of rest and you're not supposed to work. Which..." he took a much needed breath, " is why I don't get much time."

"Well here's what I would do if I were you... First, ask for better work hours... There's no point in you being here all day long when there are plenty of people that could share the day's work. If you're denied better hours, get a new job. Second, a house doesn't need to be tended to every single day. Clean it once or twice a week and it's fine. And if you can't live with that solution, get married to some boring woman who will follow your every order and clean it all day for you, along with cooking your meals and doing your laundry. Then you'll have all of the free time you could want."

"the more hours I work, the more I get paid. Which is why I do it. and about the married part.... no. If I ever get married, I don't wanna be married to some boring woman who will do whatever I say. that's... boring. I'd want someone interesting. Not some little maid from around here, because they all are boring... or too young and have yet to learn how to be boring. So, I'll just stick with doing everything myself."

"Well, you'll be waiting for a long time... There aren't many interesting women left in this world..." *Rachel shook her head, disgusted by how many girls were completely submissive and dependent on men...*

"Yeah, which really stinks. I mean, what's so interesting about a woman that thinks serving a man is the most important thing in life?"

"Exactly... Women are perfectly capable of surviving on their own and doing much more important things than taking orders from men..."

"yeah. and it's possible, I mean, you do it. And you must like it as well. Cause you're still living that lifestyle"

*Rachel ran a hand through her hair, nodding a little.* "The day when I trade a life of independence and adventure for cleaning house and having children will be the day when hell freezes over..."

"no, hell won't freeze over. But I can imagine the apocolypse coming." He finished his drink, "though with some of the people today, I wouldn't be surprised if it were already here. Or coming"

*Rachel shrugged lightly.* "The apocolypse won't come during our time if I can help it..."
