"well, yeah you are a stranger. But as for the real reason. I don't bug others for information. and I don't have much time to go out so I just don't. The only things I know, are what goes on in that bar." He walked outside, and started to walk to his home.

*Rachel followed him outside, hoping to get a glimpse of where he lived.* "Well then maybe it's time that you learned how to live a little... Or at least do something interesting..." *Her voice was still fairly serious as it usually was, but Rachel was trying desperately to put some warmth into the words. Come on... Open up a little and trust me... I need whatever secrets you might be keeping if I'm going to get this werewolf...*

"I don't know. Like I said. I don't have time to have fun. Gotta work at the bar, and at home." *then when the full moon comes.* "I just got a lot to do. Even now, when I get back to my house, I have to clean. But it's what I gotta do, so I'm gonna do it." he shrugged and walked a down the street to his house. He had about 3 yards between him and his neighbors, and behind his house was open land and then woods. Every full moon, he went into the woods, away from the village to become a werewolf for the night.

*Rachel sighed and stopped walking, her eyes roaming over Aren's home and property. This was going no where... She kept her voice low, talking to herself.* "Naturally... The first guy I talk to in town has to be completely boring and useless..." *She shook her head lightly, turning away from Aren's house after observing it, her eyes instead roaming over the other homes and buildings nearby...*

"hey, I'm not useless. I'm probably the hardest worker in this town. and remember, I can hear very well, so mumble quieter." he walked into his house after that. *Oh man, that probably wasn't smart... but hey, I had fun.* Aren smiled as he started to get stuff for his dinner.

*Rachel turned to look over her shoulder at Aren's closed door before shaking her head.* "Oh yes, Aren... Bartending and cleaning house... That definitely makes a difference in the world... Ugh... This is not going well..." *She started walking again, looking for a place to eat while she thought about what she had learned so far. Plenty of werewolf sightings here... One man reports one with black fur and a white patch... Aren has no information to help me, makes things extremely difficult, seems to spend a lot of time keeping to himself, seems to dislike my investigation, has good hearing, and lives by himself with a good amount of property, including a wooded area... Well, he's definitely someone I'll have to keep an eye on... She finally found a place to eat and settled down at a table, listening to all of the conversations around her while she ate.*

Aren laughed as he fixed himself dinner. "I am in so much trouble." he laughed. " why the hell did I do that? A girl looking for werewolves, I don't know the reason, but I know it isn't good, and I tell her about my hearing. Boy.... that wasn't smart. But I got bigger problems.... who's the other werewolf?..." he wracked his memory........ "IT'S THE ONE THAT BIT ME!!! I'll kill him!" he growled and kicked the wall.

*Rachel finished her meal in silence although she lingered for a while longer to listen to everyone around her. Still, she didn't hear any mention of werewolves in the conversations... Once again disappointed, she decided to just pay for her meal and leave. She wandered the streets as the stars began to shine in the sky above, quiet as she observed the buildings and people. With so many werewolf reports from this area, she knew that a clue was bound to hit her sooner or later... She had a while to put together all of the pieces before the night when she could know for sure who the werewolf was...*

Aren paced the room. "Short, black fur, with a white spot.... do I know humans like that? The color's interesting, so it must be influenced by some human marking... but who..." He thought until it got too late, and then went to sleep.

*Rachel stayed out until the streets were at last deserted. After passing by Aren's house one last time, she headed back to the inn empty handed. She sat for a long while in her room, reading her Bible, before eventually falling asleep just a few hours before dawn.*

Aren woke up the next day, and was thankful it was almost Sunday. No drinking on Sundays. Which meant no work, BUT until then. He still got up early, and went to work at the same old bar. Emma and Tyler came by again. "Hey!! Aren, we got something to tell you." Tyler called. "We were to busy yesterday and didn't have enough time." 'well what is it?" Aren sat outside the bar listening to them.
"we saw the werewolf." His eyes widened slightly. "ya did, did ya? well tell me about this 'werewolf' " "it was big, and black, and it was going into an abandoned house." they were both excited about their news. "hmm.... don't tell anyone about that ok? we don't want to scare any of the people ok?" he stood up as they nodded, slightly disapointed, but the weren't going to tell. "ok, well tell your parents I said hi, and I'll see you both in church Sunday." then he walked back inside and went behind the bar as the two left, chattering quietly.

*Rachel was up with the sun, despite how late she had stayed up. Another restless night and another boring day... After getting dressed, she watched people from her window, observing each and every one for something that would help her. She saw two younger people enter the building and eventually leave the building but there seemed to be nothing suspicious about them... Finally, she picked up her Bible and left the room, heading downstairs. She took a seat at the bar, not really bothering to greet Aren as she opened her Bible and lay it on the counter, flipping the pages until she found the right one. Without even looking up, she asked for a glass of water before she started reading.*

Aren gave her the water and looked at the Bible. "hmm... are you gonna be going to church on Sunday? or stay at the inn? With your own Bible, there wouldn't be much need to go to church, but it's still good to go."still good to go."

*Rachel was silent for a moment before answering. I know too many people back at the Vatican that would have my head if I didn't go to church...* "I'll go..." *She once again fell quiet, thinking for a moment before speaking, still refusing to look up from her Bible.* "I suppose you'll be going...?"

"yep. Right near the front. Front row seats are always taken by anyone who's related to someone involved in the church." he shrugged. "so ya find a good place to eat?"
