Okay, I promised info, and here it is! MUAHAHA!
Magic Classes:
Telepathist – A person who can speak with certain beings mentally. The common ones seen are humanoid, animal, and sometimes plant telepathists.
Charmer – Someone whom can cause others (humanoid or not) to be kinder and more willing to listen to them and help them, even become infatuated with them.
Cleric/Priest – A step up from a simple healer, the have more power. They are also very faithful to their religion, and are usually priests.
Druid – A person who works with natural surroundings, but not a mage. They are somewhat similar to a green witch, but more powerful.
Healer – A person who can channel energy to heal wounds, whether personal or another’s. Sometimes mistaken for white magi, shamans, or witches.
Mage – Classification for any person (usually inexperienced) who works with a specific field of magic and who does not fit into any particular class. The color of a mage’s robes usually reflects their area, and they are named by those colors. They can sometimes work up to a new title. (Blue – water; green – earth; red – fire; yellow or tan – wind; black – dark; white – light)
Necromancer – A person with the ability to raise others (and sometimes themselves) from the dead, but rarely with a will or conscience in the risen. They can “speak with death”.
Shaman - A man whom works magic in more ritualistic ways than many, and often in broader areas than magi. Shamans are classified into four groups, depending on their area of magic. (White – good, helpful, healing magic; black – harmful, fighting magic; grey – combo of the previous two; green – nature, herb oriented)
Sorcerer – Definently the most powerful of the magic classes, their areas of expertise vary. They are the only ones other than necromancers whom can “speak with death”, but not all can do it.
Witch – A woman who works magic in more ritualistic ways than many, and often in broader areas than magi. Witches are classified into four groups, depending on their area of magic. (White – good, helpful, healing magic; black – harmful, fighting magic; grey – combo of the previous two; green – nature, herb oriented)
Don't worry though, I'm not restricting much other than the magic classrs.
Also, there is a language (the Ancient's language) I've been working on for quite some time (but is still incrediblely small), which I may throw at ya'll. If I do, those who should know it (please say so in your profile or send me a PM if I forget) will be PMed, and can translate as the see fit. The PM may be written a bit odd, but in english. At times, others may be PMed for this.
One more thing. If you come across any of the characters listed below, they've been in my series. (And this'll spoil some of the story if ever you read it)
-Hazel, a druid
-Elmer, a druid (Hazel's brother)
-Kanatusi, a necromancer (Hazel's loverboy, hehe )
-Ash, a healer (Elmer's got a girlfriend! )
-any of Ash's sisters (Rahlyn, Jaylin, Kara, or Shayleen)
-Ryhne, an evil sorceress (also Kanatusi's mother, and an Ancient)
-Riken, the last stone enchanter (Ryhne's brother, Kanatusi's uncle)
-Roddin, a magic senser (Riken's son, Kanatusi's cousin, he's not really in any of the stories as of yet)
GAH! I almost forgot: THIS IS AN ALL HUMAN ZONE. Sorry, no elves, werewolves, nagas, halfhumans, etc. Mindless undead are ok, but are either necromancers or are controlled by necromancers. Sorcerers can extend their life indefinently, but are pretty dang rare. Ghosts can sometimes pop in, so watch out.
But don't worry, I won't push the "love conquers all" theme I have in my series (Druid's Journey) on y'all.
Oh, and not everything I throw at ya' will be human.
