ok, thats not fair. Thats the result of two years work? I've been drawing for about 5 years and my people aren't as good as that. But then again i did spend 4 of those years drawing dragons ^^. They're really good, I'd say just to improve on the hands but it look like that isn't valid any more with your latest pictures. Really good drawings! Keep it up.

Thanks ;D Yeah, I've been working really hard to fix my deformed heads and hands and such, hopefully I got it down now, lol. But, yeah, I think everyone learns just about anything at a different rate, but either way, someone can get good at anything as long as they practice =P And if it makes you feel any better, all i can draw are humanoids and things that go with them (like swords, guns, stuff like that), lol. I tried drawing a wyvern before, and you saw how the mecha turned out (blech! ) and I just couln't grip it :\

yeah, i've been drawing dragons and creatures of the mythical sort for so long, it's hard to move off them. Bit of a difficult field of creatures to start off drawing, as they aren't as 'flexible' as people, or well recognised.

I suck at drawing in general, so at least you guys are capable of going somewhere.

These arn't exactly drawings, but I wanted to throw up some of my (crappy) photoshop projects for roleplays in here too. This one was for the Final Fantasy XIV(14) thread we were making in my other forum: This was the map that I origionally drew, then gave to my friend to add in all the text, then back to me to add the lights, etc. I just thought this one was cool XD : And of course, here's the one for the thread I made on here (basically just an excuse to the the Final Fantasy font again, lol) :

CHOCOBO RACE! Camp Kweh ftw?
God I need to lay off the MMOs >.>;
In less nerdy news! Your work is great for such a short practice time! You have more detail than I do. I really envy your ability to do weapons. I need to buckle down and work on my inanimates. I like the effects on the FFXIV too. Lighting is so fun to play with aint it? :3

Lol, I used to play FFXI too--was a lv.70 Thief and a 61 Dragoon before I finally gave in to the pressure of my friends at school to play WoW. I haven't deleted my character, so it might end up that I start playing again because there are a lot of things I like better in it than in WoW--and now with the mention that a new version/expansion to FFXI is comeing out (hopefully for computer or Xbox360 because I don't have a PS2) it might be promissing that I switch back. I even modeled my favorite RP character off of my FFXI character (They have the same name, Rynk, and similar 'thiefy' clothing as well as two daggers =P) I played on Leviathan, btw But anyways, thanks a lot ^^ I'm trying, anyways :\ still a lot of things I need to work on in my drawing. Btw, I'll have another one up here in a sec--my character for DoS.

Aueron is my most recent character/drawing. I don't think this one can really beat my FFXIV version of Rynk... but it looks good enough seeing as I haven't drawn anything for a few weeks ._.; The main thing I wanted to do with him was give him a Shield, something I don't see very often (in fact, I haven't seen anyone's character use a shield YET) and I tend to try to make my characters kinda different from the usual generic characters. But yeah, as you can tell since I am a big Zelda fan, so I couldn't resist making his shield the same shape as Link's :x

very cool, I like it. lol zelda does rule though, my characters used to have the hover boots from ocarina of time. Thats very true, you rarely do get anyone with sheilds, I more forget about them and just give my characters lots of armour . The pattern on the sword is ace.

Hehe I can certainly see the Link influence! And not many RPers employ shields o-o; I never really thought about it before. I can imagine those things are EVIL to post for though, gotta hold them high or low, they can inhibit your ability to use your weapon. So many physics problems to work out. Icky!

Maybe, but then again, it's almost as if dual-wielding a weapon--you'd have to hold a sword at a certain height or angle, etc, to block as well. The shield itself can be used as a form of attack (i.e. lunging forward with it or otherwise bashing someone with it) and can also block just like another sword itself. Sure it might not exactly be the same, and you won't see very many fancy spin-moves or anything him, but it has its own strengths as well.
Besides, Link proves that shields arn't exactly that incumbering at all ^^
EDIT!- But, now that I see it up on the computer (this usually happens a lot :\) I noticed a lot of things I need to fix--I kinda rushed to get it done near the end :x so tomorrow I should have an edited version to post up here.

Thanks ^^d Alright, first things first, here's a better version of Aueron I forgot to put up here... Then, I realized I haven't drawn anything related to Rynk or Avelyn (my two main RP characters) for a good while so... why not do one for both?
