He nodded again, to let Beringier know that he had heard. As he walked toward the woman, he sheathed his twin scimitars and folded his arms. Somehow he knew that this woman knew the ways of the Drow, though he had no idea how she had come to know them. He stopped five feet from where she was, though he was still wary. "Why do you shoot at those who mean you no harm, m'lady? If you do not know who I am, then you must be from another land. I am Jaidthaslo Do'Urdan, the son of Drizzt Do'Urdan and Dove Falconhand. I am also a Ranger of Mishaekle. If you had succeeded in killing my companion or me, what would you have had to show for it?"
Death comes from the front as often from behind. -Old Drow proverb
Berengier walked up next to Jaidthaslo so he may see who this woman was. The paladin hung his shield on his back giving him more freedom of movement now that he was within striking distance. However, he didn't believe any more attacks were to come since the mystery figure had stopped shooting arrows and was outnumbered at point blank range. Berengier listened while Jaidthaslo spoke and is waiting for her reply.
You'll take my life but I'll take yours too You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through So when you're waiting for the next attack You'd better stand there's no turning back. - The Trooper; Iron Maiden
