((Eldae and me Only. Period!))
"Sometimes in Legends there are people history skips over...the people who little boys and girls can't ever look up to as heroes. These people are simply refered to as 'the Unmentionables.'"
Tai's small pony slowly trotted down the dirt-path, well of course she wasn't able to actually ride it. It simply served as her pack horse, carrying her...well...pack. Tai wasn't known for packing light...the poor thing looked like it was gonna collapse from exhaustion.
She smiled as her small pet flying squirrel popped out from her top and looked around. She looked over at her travelling companion, "So were exactly are we headed?"

((Ahhh, its been too long since I've RPed properly.))
Geoff shurgged, sitting back easily in his saddle. "I'm not sure, really. Wherever this road leads, unless somewhere else presents itself first. Beyond that, I can't really say, and don't really care." Unlike Tai, Geoff tended to travel light, and his horse didn't carry much more than some rations and odds and ends he'd figured might come in useful at some time. As such, it was still strong enough to carry him, and he smiled down at the half-elf.

Tai squinted her eye's again, then rolled them. "Don't bring up the packing thing again! I told you last time all of this stuff is important for my uh...studies! Even though I quit them..." She say's hastilly, putting her hands on her hips. Her little squirrel jumped out of her top and landed on Geof's arm. "Oh yeah! Well! Your not getting any sunflower seeds tonight Mo-Mo!" With that Tai made a 'humpf' sound and turned her back on Geof and her pet. ((Weak druid huh? The only thing she can attract for an animal companion is a flying squirrel. )

((meh, I played with one druid who had a duck...))
Geoff laughed and patted the small squirrel gently. "We should arrive at a town fairly soon. I don't suppose you have a map packed in there with all of your 'study' materials?"

The squirrel squeaked and bounced around to Geof's other shoulder, with a sigh from Tai. "Yeah yeah hold on..." She said, sifting through her stuff until she came accross a map case.
She pulled out a map, from one of the MANY rolls stuffed inside of the tiny case, and unfurled it. "This is were we are because thats the 'Woods of Endless Peril' right there..." SHe say's pointing to an area of forest. The area had some buterflies flying around...a rainbow...some deer. "And thats the Death Sea of Torment right there..." She say's, pointing to a pristine ocean to the west. "And thats...the Forest of Life..." She points to a swampy rotting area of forest with strange glittering eye's looking out from shadows and such.
"There is a small town that way..." She points to the 'Forest of Life', "Another one that way...and one that way..."

Geoff raised an eyebrow. "Do you actually know how to read a map? If you do, remind me to have a little talk with whoever's in charge of naming these places. They really need to, you know, either tell you why everything that looks good is pure evil, or just learn how to use words properly."

"If you don't believe me take a look for yourself...but me? I'm getting chills from that forest over there..." She points to the 'Woods of Endless Peril', and raises the map for Geof to look at. "See...I'm not kidding."

Geoff looked at the map carefully. "Well, you weren't reading it wrong..." he muttered, half to himself. "You know, I really wish people would name forests and such after people and events and natural things, and not things like 'Certain death'." He paused and looked at the Forest of Life carefully. "Where did you get this map, anyways?"

"Some old dude with one arm and no legs...why do you ask?" Tai asks, crossing her arms behind her back and looking up at Geof, briefly bouncing on her feet a bit.

Geoff shook his head. "Tai, how many times do I have to tell you? Not everybody you meet is as truthful, guiless, and generally kind and nice as I am."

"Well I figured since he had one arm and no legs he'd know all the dangerous spots!" Just as she said this a large beast jumped out of a tree and tackled one of the dears in the 'Woods of Endless Peril', then a random ship crashed and sank thanks to the help of a tidal kraken in the 'Death Sea of Torment'. However, nothing happened in the Forest of Life, which of course Tai didn't notice.

Geoff watched as the ship began sinking. "I suppose we'd better go see if there are any survivors," he said, kicking his horse into a canter.

"Um...I aint going in that water..." A wide-eyed Tai said, pointing to the prestine ocean. "And YOU said that the map was wrong!" She says rather matter-of-factly.

"I never said that. I just implied it." He grinned at her as he began unbuckling his weapons belt. "Come on, where's your sense of adventure?"

"Descretion is the better part of valor!" The young druid says with a smile and a wink, holding up her pointer finger. "Besides...water makes me nervous...'specially with that odd sea-monster there..."
((Compeltely forgot about this...))
