*Tehya had visited her brother's tent to gather some supplies before he could find her. Knowing that to tell her brother of her plans would prove to be disastrous, she left a message with a fellow tribesman to tell Hakan that she was leaving for a journey and would return as soon as possible. She finished shortly before sundown, hurriedly mounting her horse and racing off toward the hill. She found that she was already being waited for. She nodded to the man as she dismounted.* "Of course... You didn't expect me to be late, did you? I'm only late when I dread where I'm going... like meeting my brother at the trade fair."

"You know what this is right Kaz...?"
*She asked, testing him, to see how much knowlegde of magic he truly had.*

Errandir smile. "Ah, so that's who he was... I was wondering..." He cleared his throat. "Actually, I would have been here just around this time myself, but I had a run-in with a griffon. Otherwise, I would have been on time instead of being early." He drew his hood further over his face, out of habit more than out of anything else. "You said you knew where I could hire a guide?"

*Tehya nodded slowly, knowing that after she spoke, she wouldn't turn back. She hesitated, but said it anyway.* "If your intentions are true and you don't bring me to any harm, then I will guide you..." *She lowered her head slightly.* "I know, I'm just a woman, but I'm the best chance you have in this land. No one here would waste time on an outsider. They'd rather kill you than guide you."

Kaz looked at the scroll he had only seen 1 or 2 other scrolls that looked like this before. "No, milady I've only ever seen 1 or 2 other scrolls that looked like that before." He looked at Genevieve wondering what she was up to

*Genevieve nodded, knowing his knowledge in full.*
"This...spell...is a meteor spell...an ancient one. I...I have read it every night for a fortnight...I have studied it...I can cast it...but...I fear my own power will be the end of me...I will scribe it in my spellbook tonight...and...use it once...only once...when i must..."
*She said, putting the 'Appocalypse' spell back in her pocket. She had lied, a very good lie, telling him it was 'only a meteor spell' when it was much much more devastating. In fact...she had stolen it from her father so he wouldnt be able to cast it...*

Kaz looked Genevieve straight in the eyes "And the only time you will need to use that will be when every around that will save you is dead...and as long as Im with you that won't happen milady...Don't go and do anything that would harm yourself now."

*Genevieve nodded, continueing down the path. The tribesfolk shot her glance's and the like, and of course it played on her mind that these people weren't exactly friendly.*
"If they hurt you Horushi...they will pay..."
*She said to her griffon, and he hufed in response, of course he could probably handle it himself. He was quite powerful for a griffon.*

Errandir frowned slightly, rubbing his chin. "I had been hoping that people would be friendlier here, but..." He stopped rubbing his chin, reaching into a pocket of his robes. Pulling out a small bag, he continued. "Now, to discuss your payment... I don't know the normal rate for guides around here, so you'll have to make the first offer."

*Tehya was a little surprised by this and wasn't quite sure how to answer.* "I wouldn't know the proper payment. I really don't have much experience with money; Hakan usually takes care of anything that has to be bought or at least watches me to make sure I don't get cheated or accept a poor deal. I don't trust you, outlander, but I care little about filling my pockets, so I can accept whatever amount you think to be fair."

Errandir considered for a moment. "Hmmmm... I do hate having to make offers..." stroking his chin, he went on. "I can offer 300 gold pieces now, and then the same amount when we reach our destination. Does that sound fair?"

*Genevieve continued walking, realizing she had once again managed to loose Kaz in the crowd around watch she presumed t be the main square of the tent-city. She felt nervous and unsafe, and decided it would be best to leave....now.*
*She kept qalking, the men of this place eye-balling her. She managed to somehow find a way back were she landed, going in one huge circle and zig-zagging her way through the maze of tents. It was strange...how people stared at her. Or her gryffon, who hated the attention.*
*Being out of the city horushi stecthed his wings and kneeled down, nodding to Genevieve to get her to mount him. She did, straddling him and patting his sides.*
"Were are we going Horushi?"
*She asked the big beast as he walked off toward a hill, trotting. This was something he did often, it never ead to trouble and in fact always lead her away from it. It was also always fun. She didnt want to fly right now however, which would have normally been the case. She wanted to loose Kaz in the tent city. He was nice, but she hated having his will bend hers at all times.*
*She saw a big hill to then orth of her, and Horushi stopped and looked at it. Two people, a man and a woman, stood on the other side. One was the druid she had met earlier, and the other was the woman he spoke to earlier.*
"Hey! its that man again...Horushi, lets talk to him later...he look's busy now. If you see Kaz coming run for it and try to loose him."

As Errandir was waiting for Tehya's reply, Kylee sent him a message. Looking up at the eagle out of instinct, he relaxed when his companion elaborated. An elf and a griffon... that must be the woman I met earlier. But what would she be doing out here? Shrugging, he turned back to Tehya.

*In truth, it was more gold than Tehya had ever been given before... However, her expression didn't show this as she simply nodded.* "Very well. That seems fair enough to me. When do you wish to leave?"

Errandir thought about this for a moment. "I think... as soon as possible would be best. Shall we say tomorrow, at... What time of day is best to begin travelling in these lands?"
