A young man stood infront of an electronic shop watching the TV's displayed in the case.
It was reporting cases of known mutants, not who the mutants were, that was unknown, but it was showing what the mutants had done.
In all honesty, it seemed the mutants hadn't done anything bad... but that was how the news crew played it off as.
"people suck..." he sighed and walked away from the screen, deciding to walk around a bit before he found a place to stay for the night.
He was kind of regretting running away... The boy had school and his parents. His senior year of high school... and he ran away...
Not like he had much of a choice... his friends had found him out... they might have gone to the news about his ability and then, well... he was screwed to say the least...
So it was better to leave now... Even if he had nowhere to go...
The boy went into a park and sat down by a pond. There weren't many people around, so he just relaxed and looked around.
"hey, you." he looked at a little squirrel.
The creature jumped and ran up the tree a bit, looking at him.
"it's ok. come here. My name's Tyler, you can call me Wilde. I need some help. Please come here." he smiled at the creature.
The squirrel looked at him a bit more before scampering over to his open hand and climbing into his palm.
"thanks." Wilde held the squirrel in his hand.
"now. I need place to stay for the night. do you know anywhere that someone like me could stay?" he hoped it did.
The squirrel chattered quietly then jumped from his palm, running a bit and stopping, motioning for Wilde to follow.
The boy smiled and got to his feet, quickly running after the squirrel.
He followed it, a smile on his face, watching the squirrel closely...
So closely that he didn't see the person infront of him until he ran into them, causing them both to fall to the ground.
