(whoops, sorry about that, must have misread. Full armor it is) Sara rolled her eyes. " Calling Chong's chinese is about as helpful as calling the Lanchester empire a business, truthful, but missing everything of importance." The ship dock lead them right to a lift to the main section of Asgard, and calling it a floating NY city was fairly spot on. Asgard paid for itself by being a tourist attraction for the rich and semi-rich. The shops and businesses were certainly on the upper end of the scale. And with so many private and commercial craft coming and going, it made it very difficult for the UESA to try and control what came and went, something the Lanchester empire took full advantage of. Aras nodded. " Chong's is something of a resteraunt combined with a gentlemen's club and a casino. It's trashy, the help wears less then my sister and me, and fortunes change hands in the back."

Allistaire chuckled a bit. "You're not a gambling addict, are you?" he joked. Asgard always brought back good memories of his time in the UESA. More specifically, of his AWL time with UESA. He'd spend most of it here at Chong's, which is actually how he met the twins. Who would have known he'd end up working with them? Small Galaxy...

The lift took them to a rail car stop, and from there it was a short train ride to the somewhat seedier part of Asgard. Chong's stood out even among the glaring neon lights of the other businesses by having an actual mobile suit standing before the building, the doors nestled between the MS's legs. It was an old design, bulky, blocky, and ugly, and made uglier by the glowing lights attached to it, and the sign it held in it's hands proclaiming the resteraunt's name. The MS had been used by the owner, Chong, when he had been a Lanchester pilot, more than forty years ago. Despite the rust, rumor had it that the suit was in ready and working condition, unlikely as that seemed. Old though it was, it was still somewhat impressive, especially when walking under the metal giant, ugly though it was.

Claude looked up at the MS as the group entered. "The impressive thing is that it's still standing, no?" He headed into the building, not sure of what he should really be expecting.

" I'm impressed it's in one piece to be standing myself," Aras replied. The inside of Chong's was just as ugly as the outside. Dirty red carpet covered the floor with dirty yellow paint on the walls. Tables were placed seemingly at random, many clustered around a rasied stage in the back corner were a woman was dancing with the aid of a pole. Music was playing, but it was hard to tell what it was, the old speakers not able to compete with the ruckus of the gathered crowd. A petite woman in an extremely short skirt and a blouse opened to show more cleavage than a person her size should have been able to support greeted them inside the door with a very white smile. " Hi, welcome to Chongs! How many in your party?"

Claude looked over at Aras, Sara, and Allistaire. "Four" he said to the woman. "Unless you guys invited some others?"

Allistaire nodded. "Four it is," he said.

" Okay, right this way please!" the woman replied cheerily, bouncing a bow that resulting in a totally different bouncing before leading them off. They snaked through several tables in a meandering course before they were seated at a table. " Your waitress will be with you shortly," she told them, somehow speaking while smiling wide enough to show off all her very white teeth before walking away. "...sometimes, I really hate the help here," Aras muttered.

"Speak for yourself," Allistaire said with a smirk as he began browsing the menu.

Aras glared at Allistaire and was about to deliever a really crushing remark, when two very unexpected things happened one right after the other. The resteraunt trembled, shaking violently, knocking waitresses and customers from their feet. And then there was pain, intense, blinding pain that blocked out everything else. Aras opened her eyes, and found herself staring at the ceiling, her head in her hands. She shakily got to her feet as a self diagnostic scrolled before her eyes. Her internal comm was fried, something had overloaded the device so quickly the safety shut downs hadn't had time to trip. She wasn't the only one either, all around the room, people were picking themselves up, shaking heads, or just laying where they had fallen. " What..." Sara winced at her own voice as she pulled herself back to her chair. " what the hell was that?" she asked in a much softer tone.

Allistaire Raines tapped at his temple a couple of times. Nothing. He readjusted his sleeves, straightened his tie, and looked at the rest of the group. "Everyone alright?" he asked haphazardly. He reached into his jacket and checked to make sure his Jericho 941 was still in place.

" Relatively, yes..." Aras answered. Another tremor ran through the building, only this time it was accompanied by a hollow booming. " That...that sounds like charges going off," Sara said.

Claude sat up from where he had fallen, not attempting to stand. "Well... that was new. Reminds me of why I have this armor.... hmmm." He slowly rolled onto his knees; then, bracing himself on the table, he stood up. Of course, this was just in time for the second tremor and he almost fell again. He looked out through one of the establishments newly opened windows. "Should there be smoke in that direction?" he said to nobody in particular, pointing out of the hole he was looking through.

By now most of the restaurant's patrons were in a state borderlining panic. When the clear sound of weapon fire drifted in, they mostly gave into that panic. " It sounds like an all out battle going on," Aras said. " sh**, and our comms are fried," Sara pointed out. " Maybe all the comms." " Well we can't just wait around here, come on," Aras started for the fire door, opting to head that way to avoid the crush of people trying to force their way out the front.
