Shoving another hellspawn free from her blade, Jodice risked a moment to glance about, not so much to sight-see as to assess the current environment. She'd noticed something interesting developing in the lower demons around this area, a pattern of tougher fights that seemed to her like they were protecting something important around here. Finding that might help her allies somewhat, if they were indeed doing so.
Following a trail of increasingly desperate battles, Jodice had just rounded the corner of one building when her mother panicked, screaming in soul-speak "Twelve yards dead ahead! I can feel the gravitational fields warping; they're opening a portal! That can mean only a few things.... all of them bad. We have to stop them from summoning that portal!!" She herself, with no way to resist, lurched on ahead, her speed doubled from before from a cautious run into a frantic rush. Stopping herself just short from running around the next bend, Jodice carefully peeked out, suppressing her aura as much as possible and ducking back several times to keep from being seen; it was already too late, but they weren't summoning reinforcements, like both of them had surmised. Instead, they seemed to be taking something away from this battlefield, a four-man lift at the center of the group holding... something important, apparently. Perhaps an artifact, or an important instru-
With abruptness and strength that took her completely by surprise, something crushed her from within, like a war hammer striking her square in the chest, but entirely emotional and mental. She couldn't stop herself before a small cry escaped, alerting the guard demons to her presence...
By the time she'd dispatched those sent after her, the rest of the group was gone, the portal closed. "Oh well," Enia sighed, seemingly ignoring the fact that Jodice had screwed up fairly big, "Can't do anything 'bout that now. Lets find the others, and regroup with them. I'm sure they're well into the main castle by now. In fact, I think I hear fighting coming from somewhere close. Best move with haste."
Turning back, Jodice began weaving through the alleys of the barracks once more, the place like a maze in and of itself but with a magnet at the center pulling her towards it. That disgusting erection plopped right down in the middle of this gods-forsaken stretch of land had to be the castle. And she was heading straight for it, the spire already looming precariously over her head like Death itself staring her down...

Pinata nodded to Caelen as the weretiger appeared on the demon commander's other side... words weren't always the best thing in a fight, but the gesture spoke a thousand words, from "I respect you" to "I'm glad you're still alive" all the way through to "Thanks for the assist". He saw blood dripping from the commander's arm and realized Caelen had wounded it... so that was even more help than Pinata could have hoped for. Raising his blade and watching as flames surrounded it, Pinata attacked the demon commander again, hoping that Caelen would attack at the same time and confuse the enemy.
(OOC: In case it hasn't happened before, Pinata's sword flaming is a mark of the unique magical properties of goblin silver... it imbibes that which strengthens it. All that means is that the blade has been on fire by more natural means at some point, enjoyed being on fire, and decided to add that to its repertoire of magical abilities.)

Caelen waited for just a moment as Pinata attacked, the delay just enough for the commander to start to move in defense, leaving a slight opening on what would soon be the wrong side. He rushed forward, his feline reflexes allowing him to close in considerably faster than a normal human, and arrived at the commander to strike at the exact moment as Pinata. Caught between twin blades of ice, multiplied further by illusions, and a flaming silver sword, the commander was on the defensive, and his wounded arm, though healing already, was slowing him down. Caelen landed a few hits, his icy blades slicing deep, bleeding wounds. He knew this wouldn't be enough to defeat the commander, however, and he hoped Pinata had a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Mammoth locked swords with the massive commander. They were of equal size, but the menacing commander, a high ranking demon, was much more intimidating. Covered in dozens of spines that seemed to look like bone, the commander would be very difficult to hit. His head looked like a viking helm without a face. There was just an empty black pit with two red flames emanating from the face like eyes. The demon held a massive half-axe half-sword. It had a massive poleaxe on one end, and the backend had a sword blade much akin to a bastard sword. Mammoth shoved back the towering creature as its fiery hot breath spewed out taunts. Mammoth reeled back to punch at the beast with his left hand, his right pulling back his sword to stab. The commander dodged to the side, grabbing Mammoth's fist and throwing him to the ground with twisting attack.
Mammoth rolled out of the way of the axe end of the weapon, pushing himself to his feet. The commander wound up with his knee, which Mammoth caught and spun the commander around, turning the tables on him. The demon kicked itself to its feet, standing off against the barbarian.
"Impressive, human!" A hiss roared out, sounding much like the scream of a undead banshee. Mammoth winced a bit as the sound came out, preparing himself again for the fight. The demon continued, "Your soul will be a fantastic meal..." The creature laughed.
"That'd mean you'd have a head still after this fight..." Mammoth scoffed.
"Fool! Vargan the Devourer will end you!" The beast roared, leaping into the air and shooting spines out of its arm towards Mammoth. Mammoth raised his sword, deflecting them away from him. However, the demon fell with great speed, coming down as if propelled by an unseen force. He slammed into Mammoth, attempting to slash into him, but being fended off by the massive hilt of Mammoth's blade. Mammoth rolled on his back, kicking Vargan off of him, into the air. Rolling across his shoulder and up to his feet, Mammoth pulled his blade to the ready and swung at the coming demon. Vargan ducked the strike and slammed Mammoth with his spiked shoulder, unable to bring p the massive weapon to strike him with it. Staggering back, Mammoth swept with his leg, catching Vargan and bringing him to the ground. Stabbing into the dirt, Mammoth missed by mere inches as the demon rolled to the right, firing more spines that struck Mammoth in the shoulder, one piercing his armor under the shoulder plate into his arm. Mammoth reached over and pulled out the spine, slashing upward toward the oncoming demon.
Vargan flipped over Mammoth's back, swinging with the axe blade of his weapon. Spinning around and deflecting the blow with his blade, Mammoth slammed Vargan in the face with his fist, hearing the familiar sound of cracking bone as the demon staggered backward...
---
Meanwhile, Wolfe's efforts to hold off the unstoppable Ralf'url were failing. He was holding his own, but it was only a matter of time before he was defeated. The others had to finish the commanders quickly, and they had to combine their might if there was to be any hope of taking down the king of the demons...

Jodice was having her own issues with something like a humongous yu-tang - beings similar to the half-man, half-snake naga, but larger and toothier anyhow, and more serpent than human - wielding dual blades. Her strikes were doing little against the thing's outer hide, which seemed stronger than iron, but the fight wasn't one-sided; their speeds were matching one another, although she began sensing a pattern in this demon's attacks. Up close it was matching her blow-for-blow, but when she distanced herself it had to coil before striking, as would be expected from a serpent. Also, it didn't even bother following her as the speed of its strikes would catch most opponents off-guard. She'd remember that for later.
Enemies rallied around the beast, most too afraid to attack but too smart to retreat. Taking down several that rushed at her, Jodice barely fended off one attack before it struck. However, it got a mouthful of demon as Jodice used one for a shield, kicking the poor bastard into the snake's mouth before it bit down on her. Using this to her advantage, she took several more strikes at the thing while it tried to swallow the lesser demon, but found that even the inside of its mouth was protected, or at least as equally hardened as the scales were. That really only left one more place to go, and Jodice really didn't want to go there...
However, as her options began to wear thin, it was the only place she could attack from. And with her body falling apart in the most literal way, she didn't have much strength left for fighting anyhow. By now, the only thing keeping her together both physically and mentally was sheer will, and that she hadn't yet completely lost either was beyond reason. Putting distance between her and the main enemy, Jodice tore a polearm loose from another legion, gutting the demon before returning her attention to the yu-tang.
When it struck at her this time, the weapon she'd freed was lodged in the abomination's mouth. Momentarily off-guard by the maneuver, the beast didn't really notice her slipping past the fangs, and by the time it'd dislodged the offending piece, she'd disappeared. Several seconds later, however, the thing was once again thrashing about, tearing at its chest in a frenzy before falling over, dead.
Jodice's sword, lit ablaze once more from all the fighting, split through the scaly outer, sawing an exit around the freakish being's side before disappearing. Two gloved hands emerged, pushing the opening wider and wider until she managed to haul herself through it, falling unceremoniously to the ground coughing up black blood, her body itself looking like it'd been hit by a frightened octopus. When she could breath again, Jodice swore several times while wiping the stuff off of her the best she could. By now the lesser ones had scattered, and she set her sights on the tower ahead, determined more than ever to get this whole mess dealt with for good. Even as her body deteriorated from the physical strain of those changes happening inside her, Jodice forced herself onwards, that which she was just beginning to awaken within...

Pinata did indeed have some tricks up his sleeve, and he figured Caelen could appreciate this next one... raising his hand skyward with the palm up, Pinata conjured a spore cloud. The spores not only got into the demon's nose and mouth, choking it, but also created a thick yellow mist around the enemy's head, impenetrable even by the enhanced sense of sight most demons enjoyed. The enemy flailed unsuccessfully while Pinata and Caelen continued attacking it, landing several more hits. But while the demon was pretty badly wounded now, they would need something bigger to make it stay down. Pinata hoped that one of them could think of something soon.

Vargan, seemingly unaffected by the crushing blow to his face. Grabbed Mammoth by the arm and hurled him as hard as he could. Mammoth flew through the air and slammed into the demon that Pinata and Caelen had been brawling with. Mammoth skid along the ground, digging into the bloodied mud. He pried himself out of the ground, kicking the demon he had slammed into further into the muck and raising his blade in defense against Vargan. Mammoth shifted his weight and shrugged Vargan behind him, sending him head first into the muck.
Spinning around, he stabbed downward before a upward swing of Vargan's axe caught him in the chest. He narrowly glanced it away with his sword hilt, but still took the brunt of the blow. Launched back by the attack and feeling the pain of the large blow to the chest, Mammoth gasped for air. Vargan didn't waste any time striking again, but Mammoth was far from finished. He looked up, his eyes taking a hue of blue that glowed like a flame, he grabbed the sword end of Vargan's weapon with his hands. Vargan struggled, trying to free his blade from Mammoth's grip. Mammoth pulled Vargan toward him, hit him with the axe end of his own weapon, and then impaled him on it. Grasping the head of the demon, who was still cursing, Mammoth cut it off, looking quickly for a method of sealing the beast away.
Finding none, he knew the only course of action would be to finish the job. Ralf'url had to die...
---
Mammoth's timing was impeccable, as Wolfe, fighting valiantly, had just fallen. On his knees, fighting with his claws, and all that he had left in him, Ralf'url ran him through on his sword, smiling as he ended Wolfe's existence.
---
Mammoth, seeing this unfold, felt little pain for the fallen werewolf. He knew that Wolfe would not have wanted them to grieve. He also knew that Wolfe gave his life so that they could finish this. Looking back at Pinata and Caelen, Mammoth raised his sword and shifted his tattered breastplate on his chest.
"Let's finish this..."

"Agreed," Pinata said. There was emotion in his voice, but none on his face... he and Wolfe had been friends for centuries, but he had trained himself so extensively in keeping a straight face that it was impossible to tell the extent of his grief. He waved his hand at the demon that he and Caelen had been fighting, and vines came up from beneath the earth and wrapped around the creature. Then, they dragged it down beneath the earth's surface. Pinata had just sent the last commander back to Hell, clearing the way for him, Caelen and Mammoth to attack Ralf'url together as a team.

*finally found a useful opening x-x*
Vargan wasn't quite finished; although severely weakened, his body fumbled around for the head. After about a minute of searching, it'd secured the necessary part, and was about to begin healing himself when everything jerked to a stop. From a spot around the center of his chest, blue light leaked through his veins, and only too late did he try anything to stop it; by then the light had reached his arms and legs, and was quickly solidifying his body until he hunched over, the newly-placed head rolling off and shattering on the floor, a brilliant blue sword piercing his backside with a set of gloved hands grasping onto it. The figure of a young woman standing in a bad manner was behind him, barely hanging on as a nearly-silent chant filled the room, only ending when the demon commander quit moving altogether.
That same blue light leaked onto the cobblestone floor beneath, what had once been black blood now shimmering as it spread into a pattern, sealing the d**ned for good. Raspy gasps for air filled the newly-created silence, the thin hands releasing Natulesa which promptly disappeared without even the slightest cracking in what was now the headless statue, reforming in the right grasp. Jodice braced herself against the still demonic commander, taking several deep breaths before pushing off, every step labored in effort as her eyes refused to focus upon anything. Trickles of blood ran from her mouth, dark patches appearing in the assassin's grays she wore, but still she moved, finally so close to being reunited with her friends again.
Nothing she saw, not even the dead Wolfie, really registered as she braced herself against a wall again, her very touch starting to melt the stonework beneath. When she finally did see the others, Jodice swallowed back some of the gunk in her mouth at the corpse, then turned to the rest uttering a weak "Hi" before she saw Ralf'url.
Groaning, she concentrated for a moment, forming Natulesa into an illuminous longbow, an weapon unfamiliar to her but one she was confined to for the moment, as any more close combat would see her uselessly dead. Switching hands after parting herself from the wall, she found enough strength to pull the string back while aimed at the ground, and when she did a bolt of pure energy formed itself in the notch, ready to fire. Returning it slowly to a rest, she allowed her mother to control her movements for a moment, reaching out with her will to the souls around her - one red, one blue, and the last green - unlocking a small boost of energy from each for use by the rest, just enough to be noticed. Satisfied, Jodice took up the best impersonation of an archer's stance that she had while telling the others "I'll do... what I can... from here... if that's... alright..."
*took a few liberties, but hopefully this works? ^-^" I'm trying hard not to godmod here; i'll save the badassery for later >.<*

(You're doing great so far. Still worried you're gonna kill off Jodice though. ) Pinata felt the energy in the room change. He didn't know what Jodice had done, but it had altered the mana flow in a way that favored their side, so he was grateful. "Good to see you," he said, not mentioning her apparent injuries for the moment. She obviously already knew she was hurt, and nothing would be served by discussing it further while Ralf'url was still alive. He turned to face the demon then, hoping that between Caelen's trickery, Mammoth's strength and his own knowledge and experience they would be able to last long enough to give Jodice an opening. (Sorry. Not quite sure how the attack's gonna go down so I'm saving the badassery for later too.)

Mammoth knew he could handle the brunt of the blows that Ralf'url could dish out. He knew that it would be up to him to weather the storm, hoping the others can strike the fatal blow. He feared that the others could be cut down with one powerful strike. He didn't doubt their fortitude, he just was expecting the power they were about to face to be beyond anything they'd ever seen or faced before. Mammoth moved in, ahead of the group, stepping over Wolfe's lifeless body as his sword contacted with one of Ralf'urls axes.
Ralf'url came around underneath Mammoth's feet with the other axe, and Mammoth pushed up the first, leaping over the second. In the air, he struck downward with his sword. Ralf'url grinned as Mammoth seemed to connect with what appeared to be a shield of black energy. When Mammoth's sword made contact, it sent him flying through the air, and slamming into a nearby spire. He hit the ground face first.
Pushing himself up, he lifting his sword from the ground and headed back into battle.
d**n... He has some sort of shield, I can't even touch him...
Mammoth charged back in, and he forced his own energy to the surface. He channeled it through his blade, a dark blue light glowing brilliantly as he made contact with Ralf'url again. Only this time, the shield didn't launch him back. Instead, the shield absorbed his energy, strengthening it...
"HAHAHAHA! You worthless rats cannot harm me! I will make you pay for this setback!"
Mammoth was shocked as, with impossible speed, Ralf'url slammed him in the shoulder with his axe. Mammoth could do nothing but try to hold it off. Mammoth raised his sword and stopped the axe from cutting deep into the shoulder. Ralf'url kicked Mammoth back, readying himself for the next attacker.
There has to be a way to break that... shield... Dammit... Mammoth thought, reaching up to his shoulder, feeling the wound. He was losing lots of blood, the fights he had been in had been leading to tons of damage, and yet, he stood, fighting on.
His chestplate was in tatters, his shoulder plates hardly still attached. His armor was nearly useless, and was simply dead weight. Mammoth reached up pulling the straps that held up his armor, letting it drop to the ground. Now, Mammoth, bare-chested, blood-stained, and wearing only his leg plates that were scarred with arrows and dings, readied himself for what he knew might be his last battle.
He stepped forward, preparing to move in on Ralf'url again.
There's gotta be a limit to that shield.

(OOC: This is my last post for today... unless by some miracle I can get on over the weekend, which hardly ever happens, I won't be on till Monday. So you guys can either go ahead and kill him without me, or hold things up till I can post... it's up to you. I'm helping Mammoth's plans along, but if I do too much let me know.)
Pinata was just thinking the same thing, and thought he knew a way to find out. There was a spell called Lifeforce, which allowed its caster to channel green energy into black energy -- thereby directly damaging the wielder of said black magic. He cast it now, and Ralf'url's shield glowed bright green briefly before vanishing from view again. The demon staggered backward in pain, a surprised look crossing his face and then quickly changing to rage. He charged Pinata, and although Pinata held fast against the onslaught longer than anyone could have expected eventually an axe caught him with a glancing blow and swept him aside to crash into the wall of one of the buildings. The impact caused Pinata's concentration to waver momentarily, and he lost the Lifeforce spell... however, the shield was now glowing green around its edges on a seemingly permanent basis, and he smiled as he realized his theory was correct. The shield could be overloaded with energy, thought Pinata now didn't have enough left to be of much help in this endeavor.

(don't worry Pinta *XP*, just remember what she is and hope)
Jodice was firing soul arrows as fast as she could, but each one simply disappeared as it hit the shield. She was starting to get frustrated when she saw Pinata's attack, and quickly realized the significance of it. Pulling the string back as far as she could, Jodice was about to fire when Ralf'url took a stance and roared in anger, knocking her off her feet. When she looked back, the green tint was gone, shattered or absorbed; still, she - and the others as well - had a clincher.
Readying another soul arrow, she held it for a moment, waiting for the general to come within her sight as energy gathered before releasing it. Upon impact, the supposedly-impenetrable shield cracked, though only for a moment's glance. Hopefully between the two assaults Mammoth and the newcomer - some sort of bipedal feline-species - would catch the drift; readying another arrow, she held this one longer, aiming for Ralf'url's face, and continued holding it for half a minute. Unable to derive anymore energy from the surroundings, she released the arrow... and missed.
Her hand had twitched at the last crucial moment, and the bolt, now shining like a miniature sun, sailed straight past his head, embedding itself in the area behind. The black rocks sizzled, but did not give even under the blast of holy energy she'd used. Exhausted from her efforts, she swore, and began readying another shot as soon as she could, pulling energy from the failed attack as she tried desperately to aim through her rapidly failing sight and mind...

The others were striking at Ralf'url, and losing. Mammoth prepped himself for another attack. As he charged, he noticed the others making rather strong strikes on the shield. It seemed to falter under the strength of the blows. Ralf'url laughed as Mammoth made contact, his sword, surging with neutral energy, stopping right on the shield. Again, Mammoth found himself repelled, and quickly had to raise his blade to parry a coming axe. Mammoth wound up, his right fist glowing with that deep blue energy. He slammed that fist into the shield, but it again repelled him. With a powerful kick, Ralf'url sent Mammoth head over heels. Mammoth rolled to his feet just in time to avoid an axe that would have severed his head. It seemed Pinata and Caelen had faced the same struggle, neither able to strike through it (sorry about that Caelen, you didn't seem like you were gonna post)
Ralf'url laughed again, "You fools! Every strike you make strengthens my shield... It will never break... It will never falter... You will all perish!"
Mammoth spit blood to the ground. He was near the others, and he looked back. He gritted his teeth, his anger building as he realized the futility of this. He saw his friends, his allies, losing their strength. They were all exhausted from this fight. The battle through Ralf'url's demons had done its job in wearing them down, and without the reinforcements needed to wear down Ralf'url, they were running out of options. Mammoth thought about Arthos and Wolfe, and then about more of his friends, and countless innocents suffering the same fate. It filled him with rage.
"If this shield ain't gonna break... Then lemme test it. Either it pops like a balloon, or we die anyways..." Mammoth spat out, his eyes changing color into a furious blue. He took a step forward, a trail of smoking neutral energy left behind in his tracks.
"An Ancestor! I thought you were all dead! This we be fantastic! To take another of your kind into my legions! With that, you all will die, and slaves I will make of your kind." Ralf'url roared.
Ralf'url, in his overconfidence, made a mistake. Mammoth's strength still was not under his control, only under extreme measures of anger and stress was he able to use it well. Nothing infuriated him more than threats against his family, his friends, and humanity itself.
Mammoth gritted his teeth, the aura of immense power shining a deep blue even from his mouth. As he moved forward, each step pulsated more energy up through his body. Like an explosion, each moved throughout his body, surging through him as if he was a lightning rod and the energy was lightning. He breathed heavy, a roar of anger bursting from his lungs. Ralf'url hesitated a moment, his laugh ending before he took confidence in his shield holding.
"STAND... BACK..." Mammoth said, his voice taking on a much more menacing tone, completely inhuman. Ralf'url, however, was not amused.
"Such a show! You are weak, just like your obsolete bloodline!"
With that comment, Mammoth let our a horrendous roar of fury, the ground itself rumbling under the force of his roar. With that, the explosion of energy expelled from Mammoth's body. The energy expanded with insane speed. Mammoth focused all his anger and all of his will upon Ralf'url. The energy that was exploding from him shot into the air. Ralf'url looked up into the sky and held up his axes, preparing himself for the coming attack. Mammoth, completely enveloped in energy, cursed out toward Ralf'url, "This is ya punishment! STRUGGLE YOU COWARD!"
From the sky, a massive beam of the neutral energy slammed into Ralf'url's shield. The ground gave way under the massive beam, a crater forming. Ralf'url disappeared under the blinding blue light, and Mammoth had risen into the air as he released more and more energy. Hovering above the ground, the deafening roar of this energy like hundreds of freight trains nearly drowned out the verbal exchange between Mammoth and Ralf'url.
"Hahah! You are impressive! Too bad you are only ensuring that I will never fall! Every ounce you use against me strengthens my shield!" Ralf'url scoffed.
"I've had enough of ya d**n MOUTH!!" Mammoth roared out as he unleashed everything he had. Every single bit of power that he had available in his body expelled forth. Ralf'url wavered, his confidence in his shield failing as it began to give way to Mammoth's energy.
"NOW, TREMBLE IN FEAR AS YA WORTHLESS SHIELD CRUMBLES! TREMBLE AS YOU KNOW YA DEATH COMES!" Mammoth roared, a shockwave of energy expanding like a tsunami in the ocean. It kicked up all of the dust from the area, sending all of the nearby dead bodies flying in all directions, or just plain incinerating them. Fortunately, his allies were far enough away to avoid most of the blast.
When the dust cleared, Mammoth was on his knee, his sword stuck in the ground, holding him up from falling on his face. He had given every last ounce of his energy, the only thing keeping him from falling down, let alone breathing, was his sheer force of will not to give up. Before him, stood the shocked Ralf'url, as the shield that he had attempted to hold was gone. It was obvious, as the look of Ralf'url's face carried a slight hint of fear. Instantly, as he realized that Mammoth had given everything, he felt assured again.
"So... You ruined my shield... No matter... Your friends will die, and I'll make you suffer after that..." Ralf'url spat out.
Mammoth tried to stand, but only fell on his face, blowing away the dirt as he exhaled in complete exhaustion.
"Its... all... up to... you guys... now..." Mammoth said, before closing his eyes, on the brink of losing consciousness....

*ITS OVER 9- ok, no x-x *sorry to take the stage like this, but i wanted to get this out before my mind forgot the scene again x-x don't hate me*
Jodice fell once more against the onslaught, flailing backwards as the scene before her unfolded. As if her vision wasn't horrible enough, the dust whipped up by the maelstrom of energy blinded her completely, leaving her on one degrading knee and without any sight whatsoever. Tears streamed down her face, desperately attempting to cleanse her eyes but to no avail; she couldn't see even a peep of light as her eyes desperately kept themselves closed to keep more debris from entering.
Out of the three remaining, she was the most vulnerable, her already-weakened state and now this complete darkness of sight making her a liability that was surely to be exploited sooner rather than later. She could hear the others fighting, but they were falling as well, too weak to stand on their own. With a cry of anger she pulled the bow back, gathering more energy than before in a fraction of the time, releasing it amidst every curse she could muster with her fading vocal cords.
The attack did little direct damage to the massive demon, though it surely stung like all hell given the opposing elements at work, but it did one thing; it got Ralf'url's attention. The presence of a holy elemental was sure to take precedence now over a weakened Druid and an exhausted water monk; he also noticed the handiwork behind her, which helped to set his mind. "...Starting with your little girlfriend!" The sentence finisher was stated with what had to be a mixture of malicious joy and defiant pride, and as the general plowed past the other two with surprising strength before they could react, the massive scimitar he held lashed out straight for Jodice.
She herself was a sitting duck: with the loss of her sight, she could not see the attack coming; with the words she heard, she was paralyzed with shock, knowing exactly whom he was speaking of and that her fate was sealed already; finally, with her body deteriorated as it was, she could not dodge it. The strike was perfect, piercing her square in the chest straight through on the tip, severing her spinal cord and trachea, causing her to lose control of her body and stop breathing all at once. Her eyes shot open, blood trickling from what had been her tear ducts, several final twitches emanating from the disconnected limbs before they slumped, Natulesa dropping like a lead weight from her grasp.
Jodice's face kept the shocked look she had worn moments ago, even as her body was hoisted into the air, Mammoth, Pinata, and Caelen helpless to save her. Ralf'url roared with perverted laughter, mocking the Valices as she died on the edge of his blade "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue, you pathetic excuse for an ally?" Her features sinking caught his attention, but before the insults could continue, her head fell backwards, and then forwards, a wad of spittle zipping through the air, splattering upon Ralf'url square in the eye.
Irritated already, he surged with anger, and simply flung the goddess-to-be away; she died even before hitting the wall, her body creating a sickly sucking noise as it slid down the black stone, assorted guts splattered against it where she'd hit. The corpse fell off after several seconds, hitting the floor with a dull thud amidst near silence, the last things reaching her ears being the ringings of Ralf'url's demented laughter immediately afterwords...
'So cold... dark... Am I dead? But it feels so comfortable here... no pain, no sadness... just... the black... So very tired... I want to sleep... to sleep forever, here, in this quiet place... But, what of the others? Are they... yeah, I'm sure they will be alright... Just need to rest for a while, then-' '...I said, wake up. That means wake... up... now.' *SLAP*
(yay, i finally gave Caelen a class name x-x as for the end of this post... i'm leaving it hanging for now so as to have another post to come to XP it WILL make sense in the end, except maybe to Caelen/GG [see some of the earlier posts... mine on page 42 have the two shining examples of this particular parent-child relationship]. all y'all need to know is that she will be back, and it will be awesome)
