A man in purple ran screaming through her vision with guards in pursuit. He could still be heard after he left her sight. Ten minuites later he gets dragged in by some of the guards and tossed in a cell. He shouts and curses at the guards multiple times before settling down for a minuite. Then a guard came by, "So, why'd you do it?" "Boredom mostly." "Now that's hardly an excuse....." "Neither is running away because of that." He said, pointing to somthing behind the guard. The guard turned and saw the most hideous demon imaginable before turning and running for his life. The bard fell over laughing as the illusion disapeared. "Never even got a chance to take my weapons! idiots...."

(Now for my subtle appearance.... Jeez I wish I joined in sooner... Lol)
Ah the commontion.... What a headache it cause making all of the guards leave their peaceful posts to chase filth around like children in a playground. Just something that got on some peoples mind. Then again the laws around here have been getting steadily tougher as the months pull by leaving those who wish for peace behind in its wake. Nothing new for the Guild... Or just the Assassin, Nika.
She just posted herself apon the rooftops peering over the people like a hawk searching for the prey at hand but again took no general intrest in the others. Her mind just simply zeroed in on one particular person and a shady one at that. From her position he looked no more than 6 feet tall and weighed no more than 200 pounds, shifty and beady black eyes that darted around in his head as some sort of paranoia... Almost like he was being watched. Of course he had all the right in the world to be paranoid and it wasn't exactly the firt time he was being watched by the Guild... Orders were that he had the information on her next target and she was free to use any and all means to extract the info giving her a one way ticket to do whatever she wanted to him and how fun it would be..
Nika leapt off of her post and grabbed the next ledge down, gripping it tightly and carefully holding herself in her dangling position, to steady herself for the move about to happen. The shadow hid her perfectly as she glanced over from under the cloak to catch a glimpse of her target moving into the alleyway just to the left of the building she was on, Perfect.. Just where I wanted you to go... she smirked to herself, shimmying herself over to the left then quietly dropped to the ground. She stood up quietly and proceeded into the alleyway using whatever shadow cover she could find to get closer to the tapping of feet ahead of her.
As the sound of tapping grew louder, for some sudden reason they stopped..Just abruptly like someone else was there to impeade his travels. Nika stopped and looked around, placing one hand on the sword under her cloak and peered into the shadows infront of her to see her target just standing there almost as if he was looking back at her. It was rather confusing to her but she felt to other choice but to move closer, but as slowly as she could to see what was wrong
Ba-Dump, Thump.... Ba-Dump, Thump.... Ba-Dump, Thump.. the sound of her heart began as she moved closer and closer not knowing what to expect. It was almost eerie to her that he would be just standing there as if he just accepted his paranoid fate. Again all confusing to her, Nika just moved a bit closer till the sound of the beating heart stopped. She didn't know exactly what the hell was going on but now was the time.. its was either to get her info or fight whatever was there.. The silence began to settle in more with the aid of the drops of water on the cobblestone ground, the musky and foul tasating air began to settle between them... A Killer's air... An Assassin's air... and when all the silence had disappeared it ended with the voice of the man she had followed....
"You'll never get our hands on the info I have... Assassin Nika... You have wasted your time tracking me now face the consequence of your meddling..." his voice wasn't normal. Some one was controlling him from elsewhere, and she didn't have a clue where. Had she hit a snag in her mission? What the hell was going on? Nika had no time left she moved quickly to apprehend the target but to no avail... All that was heard in the end was a death-filled blood-curddling sceam that sounded like someone desperately wanting to cling to their life. She stopped and pulled out a small flint and a bit of burnable straw and lit it to gain some light.
It was incrediblely grotesque and gruesome... Too gruesome for words. All that stood before Nika was her target... Blood everywhere, Hundreds of Daggers and Knives just stabbed within him like a pathetic rag doll. It was like a work of art to her but something about it sent a deep chill down her spine as she blew out the light. Something about it didn't seem right about it as if he was already killed before she got there like days before... It seemed like someone was pulling strings but all Nika could say was, "As beautiful as it looked... Its not something I wish to see again...."
It was back to the headquarters and to get a few answers from the Masters as Nika just walked away, like nothing really happened at all....

Lediw walkedi nto Midvale, it seemed as usuall as he passed the streets towards his home... He had forgotten all about time and even some he didn't care if it would become dark soon enough he just aimed for his dinner... Though, he had to sharpen his senses, in town you could get attacked one moment and saved the other, each move around had to be memorized atleast as he could see.
Just a few meters from his door to the safe home of his where he'd just leave the stuff and hurry up paying the guild, a man stepped infront of him... "You... Freak disformed piece of sh**!" A man said, meanwhile another one got behind him who laughed shortly and said, "Have you gone hunting our food again?!", and it was rather a claim and a try to put him in place.
"I hunt outside the village as everyone else, it is everyone's place yours and mine... The other ones too..." Lediw spoke and putted the bag on the ground, "But if you're trying to get into trouble I can only say for your sake... Stop it!" Lediw spoke shortly and pale without a face expression...
"We just don't like freaks in this town you see." the man behind Lediw spoke, "And I don't like people without brains enough to share." Lediw spoke and in defense grabbing the guy infront of him and stroke him down with his forehead and swiftly turned around, mistakenly, 5 more people stood prepared... "You'll regret that, Lediw!" the guy who had stood behind Lediw spoke as Lediw took a fighting stance, *These guys... Not good for me...* Lediw thought to himself looking at their stances... These guys knew how to fight...
It was obvious who these people where... They where the ones behind the previous murders in town lately against Hybrids or other kinned races living in Midvale...

As the sound of the movement died down, Derek contemplated whether to go in to Midvale or not. He had never gone IN before, always favouring the shadows to spy on the guild and the movements of its members. In the time, he had been here, he knew almost all the members. He was still curious about the elf that had shown up. It had been some hours since she walked into the town. She had never come out. He had to know what happened to her. He got up from his place making sure nobody was on the road near him to hear anything. As he made his way closer to the wall and the guards, he became even more careful. He could tell their attention had been drawn towards the street.
He had a decision to make, risk the knowledge of his existence in exchange for satisfying his own curiosity or stay and wait like he had been for all this time. He could see himself make his way to the dungeons at least without any fear of detection. Then it would get tougher with the better assassin of the guild around, good enough to detect one of their own kind.
He made his decision. He jumped down from the tree near the wall, he affected a change in the metal to form hooks good enough to give him traction to climb the straight wall. In a few seconds, he was hanging near the top. He strained his neck back and heard the guard standing right above him laugh. He didn't have time to think why. He used all the strength in his arms to vault himself upwards, bringing down his hands on the guards face. His feet made no sound as he landed behind the guard, immediately putting him in a choke hold. The difference here was that the metal burned through his neck and face, melting his windpipe and the top of his backbone. He carefully put him down, hiding the body in case one of the others were to turn his way.
With a jump and a quiet landing, he was, for the first time, inside the town. He ran parallel to the buildings staying in the shadows. He knew he had very less time before the body was found and a search began for the killer. He stopped near the dungeon putting his back to it, bringing his heartbeat down back to normal in a few seconds. He could hear a few voices coming from the small vent near his feet. He heard somebody say the word elf. He thanked his luck that she was right here, where he could actually get to her. He put down the hood of his cloak and walked towards the front. He was surprised to see there was no one on the door. He looked around to see them walking towards a small crowd that had built up in the street nearby. He sneaked into the dungeon. He quickly found his way to the area where the elf was being held. He could also see two more people in the cells next to her. This would be a little tricky.
He made his way, very quietly to the the cell. The bad light helped him. Even if they heard him, they wont be able to see his face. As he got close enough to the bars on her cell. He looked at them closely. The magicians hadn't bothered to put any spell on them. He was pretty sure, the gauntlets would have protected him from any kind of effect even if that had been so. He looked at her. She either hadn't heard him approach or simply didn't care. He was sure, she would care about what happened next. He put both hands on the two bars in the middle. He guessed, with a part of these bars, gone she would be able to just make it out. The process was slower for the metal bars. The rust helped a lot he thought. Soon enough he had broken off a two feet wide section of one of the bars by holding on to it. The burning, melting noise had drawn attention from all three spectators now. He quickly did the same thing to the bar next to it, then retreated, hiding back into the shadow, putting his back behind the door leading out of the area, waiting for the elf to escape her cell.
(Gah! I didn't know I had written so much lol)

"Oh right, leave the guy in purple....." He put a finger to his cell door and simply pushed it over before walking out. "If you didn't know, they aren't there. They're much too worried about the dragon sitting outside." Sure enough, outside the window was the dragon. Another of his illusions most likley. By the time they looked back he was already around the corner and walking away.

Marcela just stared at the gaping hole that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the door. Of course she knew better than to simply escape, but someone, or something, had gone through the trouble of melting a hole in the middle of the door. Curiosity took over as she stepped tentatively towards it, the smell of burnt metal hanging in the air, a few bits still cooling here and there. She was cautious, alert; it could be a test, bait for a trap that they wanted to know if she would take or not. The man she assumed to be some sort of bard or minstrel had already made haste out of there, and she didn't hear the voice from the other cell, whatever that was... Sitting down for a moment on one knee, she tried to think...
Trap or not, she was tired of this place; getting up, she walked up to the door and carefully stepped through, every nerve in her body on alert for anything that might pop out and get her. Unsure exactly of what to do, her head darted around, seeking the shadows when she heard footsteps coming from nearby... her eyes shot to the table nearby, where her supplies still laid, and her hands followed quickly for the sword and dagger, not wanting to take any chances...

Lediw opened the movement once more and got down on all 4 rushing against the guy behind him and jumped right at him changing movement in air by half a back flip and aimed his foot against the man's head, hit! The guy flew back crashing into the ground but incredibly fast to rise on his too feet, Dust spored out from the corner of the short alley living area where the commotion soon moved to as Lediw fled into the alley way after tackling the Mob leader guy, Lediw cornered, outnumbered and unarmed as the humans stood prepared, spitting on the ground or just laughing ready to get at him anytime soon.
For a moment it seemed as if Lediw would have be chanceless, but not really, he picked up a bottle and shattered it against a brickwall 2 times to sort of make it a cutting knife, meanwhile he kneeled and picked up a few good pieces of glass which would work perfectly to throw with...
"Come on, you guys know better, leave this place at once or you'll be sorry..." Lediw spoke, after all he started to build confidence as the got closer, he had no time to show the great smile with'in him,
Starting to kick a brick of the house wall, this triggered a net holding a few iron pipes above to let go and it started well, 2 guys trapped down belove seemed totally wasted as the iron pipes, with no mercy, penetrated their bodies. A few guys jumped over the short seconds after and went into the alley to attack Lediw, *Now it starts for real...* he thought and embraced!

Hybrandt slowed his running to a normal walk when he saw the familiar structure of the Guild. He'd better get this delivered fast - it wouldn't be wise to withold possible customers from the Guildmaster and the Regents. Still, running was supposed to be beneath him. You couldn't have a death mage afraid of some bureaucrats. He walked calmly, but briskly, through the great gates. The thick wood from the early days had long been replaced by beautiful but flimsy cast iron. If we'd ever meet an actual threat again, Hybrandt thought, we wouldn't even be able to hold them out. An angry goat could bust through this thing. He strode up the marble stairs, through the corridors, full of paintings and statues. He went up another couple of stairways, and entered a corridor which had slightly better artwork than the rest. He looked around for Guild officials, and quickly deposited the letter in an ornate mailbox labeled 'Important'. That would be taken care of, and nobody would think he'd held the letter back. Hybrandt turned around, and hurried to the dungeons to tell the elf the good news.

Nika had already returned to the guild with the uttmost haste, hoping to get the wisdom of the guild master on the matter of the corpse. She moved through the mabled halls of the guild, coming apon the large Granite Doors leading to the Master's Chamber's. The guards posted just outside the doors looked over to the Female Elite and cleared his throat,
"Ah, Master Nika! Suprised to see you back from your mission early!" he spoke with high spirits. At first she said nothing then nodded in agreement to shut him up but he then continued, "Unfortunately, the master is out on an errand to the neighboring guild." Hearing this caught her undivided attention, as she snapped her head in his direction eyeing him down from the cover of her hood. The guard stood back for a brief moment in fear of being killed but stood back at attention letting out a small sigh. As he was about to ask his question Nika had already began to give her answer.
"I need to ask about the nature of the corpse I had found on the mission.... Apparently he was killed long before I was there but I was fooled into thinking he was still living." she spoke bluntly, "Now, why is a useless curr such as yourself impeading me from seeing the master?"
Rather insulted by the comment Nika gave the guard wavered off his own opinion of her and remained calm, "As I've stated he's out right now... I do not know when he will come back, so please bare with me and just return to your quarters and rest I'll be sure to summon you when he returns." With the spoken words finished, Nika was already gone around the corner to her quarters.
Moments Later.....
Nika sat quietly on her chair, glass of red wine sitting to her right and her cloak hanging of the left arm of her chair. Her hair freely moved behind her back as she leaned back on the chair pondering in her head under the dim light of her room. She finally passed out without thinking about it and slowly eased into her dream until it felt that she had become one with it:
[Nika knelt before the master, bloody and bruised from the fight against him. The blood around her forehead drizzled slowly down her face, looking hopelessly up to the master, the victor of the fight. Her slow breathing was followed by a low almost breathless question, "Have I... Been bested?... Master?" she asked almost dying, just barely clinging to her life. The master hovered over Nika's body and gazed down apon her, his dark eyes piercing the bowels of her heart.
"Yes, my child... You have been bested." His dark and musky voice rang in her ears as each word passing through feeling like an eternal pain. He rose his blood-covered dagger and quickly stabbed it in her left shoulder as a scream of terrible pain was let out of Nika's mouth as she began to fall back. As she nearly hit the ground below her, the master snatched her by her cloak and brought her up to his face, "You have been beaten and have no more will to fight Demon Woman!" he growled, "You have nothing... YOU ARE NOTHING!" those words rang again withing her head as it was followed by an echoing slap across her bloody face.
"Nothing but a slave to the Guild... Nothing More, Nika.." he smirked raising his dagger again.....]
Nika woke up after the sound of the second knife stab as she stared at her hands in a cold sweat. A small amount of blood was left on her hand as she felt her lip... Bloodied by biting to hard. She sighed quietly and lead back into her chair, "Just a dream..." she assured herself placing her hand over the right arm of the chair then growled, "It meant Nothing...."

Lediw got the first to come at it by the arm and used the enemy's weight to crash him into the wall, the next was a female who's foot was the only thing Lediw got to see before he blacked out...
-------------
?.1.- Should we kill him now?
?.2.- Not just yet... We'll leave him for now and then we the next time we'll see to it tha- -- ----- ...
The man and female spoke as Lediw totally lost counsion! -----------------------------------------
It took a while, he had finally started to open his eyes, *Bloody hell...* He thought to himself, he arised slowly, it had gone half an hour or so since he had gone black... It had already started to darken up pretty good, it seemed as he had slept forever though he knew he was lucky to be alive, rather been spared by the humans... *Why?* he thought to himself and stepped slowly and halting out of the alleyway and towards his home, he noticed they'd taken the bodies of their friends. Getting infront of the door he realised his they'd destroyed everything he had in the backpack, they'd ruined his night dinner, breakfast and a whole day.
Lediw stepped inside, layed back for a moment and took a while to rest before preparing to go to the guild and deliver his rent...
"Man..." he spoke to himself, reached for the whiskey bottle and poured up in a glass and drank it, for a while it seemed as if the world was never going to get better. Suddenly like a clap of thunder something blew up outside at the streets, *What the?* Lediw thought to himself and pulled the certains to the side and watched as someone ran around burning, *In the name of the Goddess...* Lediw thought and sat still, paralyzed like he had been poisoned or shot dead.
A sort of inferno broke out at the small market and people ran in panic, what had happened? Could it have been someone from the Empire in this town, a cruel assassin out to kill a innocent? Lediw thought this was a mystery, first some rumors of a wierd Elf, the bad humans running around and killing Hybrids... And at last, this, this was surely some bad omen of what was to lay ahead.

...and if she were to do anything too rash, something more than just a few words, there could be a consequence that would forever ruin her. She knew already that she did not have much to value in this world and losing that would just be too much. What choice could she make, knowing that every would fall back against her. To do nothing would be neglect, to act would be fugitive and to join would be betrayal. Defy in will or defy in obedience? Blasted choices, always, always finding and filling her with doubt, one that she knew she must hide, for a sanity's sake.
But, if doubt be hidden, shouldn't she not hesitate? ...Had she just doubted her undoubting, covered in layers?
Rising, a cascade of curving black velvet falling from to around her, engulfing the artificial form in a protective shroud. As a silhouette, she would be threatening tower of brooding silence, a radiator of unnatural calm; for what were the normal emotions that ran out of things clogged up in her never-alive flesh. What should have been a breath that moved her motionless body was that which replaced her hidden humanity: a soft buzz of acknowledgment to the world. It tickled the souls senses, gaze the only clue to what she really was without seeing with mortal notions. Right now, this acknowledgment was focused outside of this cage, and to that which was happening outside.
A step forward and a silent brush of spider-fingered fabric brushed against the warmthless floor. A soft, brittle tap of her foot followed as melody to this sound, then another to create a pair rhythm. She carried herself forward in this way, until her self was to the gate stopping her. Her form was no longer hidden by a surrounding light, but now illuminated by it. A fearful and unnatural thing she could be, if her shroud had not covered her. Now, she only seemed simple, nothing of a threat. An unknown to peering eyes.
A hand, delicately covered in a skin of black, would reach out to touch the bars, tentatively without harm, only analyzing them to see if they would fall too something more hostile. She traced her digit's tips across their lengths, thinking back about what would be best. To escape, or to stay? Could she leave, would she?
Previous actions came to mind, words spent upon her vanished lips replayed themselves as did everything else. It was reality, paying a visit to her drifting self. The bitter self had pushed itself within her now, the actions spent now seeming foolish. She had spoken her thoughts, which often spent themselves turning themselves to her core, rather than expressing like she did then. Her mind did not wish to fathom how to continue that escapade, but it would be much more of a pain if she simply let herself forget...
"Running will only get yourself into something worse." Her words were mumbled, carried through the tense air. To whom they were meant for was obscure, but her soul knew that it was herself that she meant to address, not any other ear'd creature.

Marcela sensed something in the air, like a passing wind but with words... she turned towards a blank wall, but saw nothing. Pulling the dagger from its sheath, Marcela kept it close as her eyes wandered around... First, she walked over to the cage where the other voice had come from, curious about what was going on. Looking beyond and seeing nothing at the moment, Marcela didn't quite know what to make of it all, and so she simply began walking for the door, on alert at every moving shadow and every voice... It seemed there was a panic outside, a perfect time to run-
Marcela stopped in her tracks, contemplating the thought. Why had she thought about running? She was not a common criminal, nor was she a threat to anyone, or at least no one on the right side of the law. She was simply following orders, orders given to her months before and orders she planned on carrying out, even IF her people had been slain. Someone needed to stop the Empire, and if she was the last one left who could hire help, she'd do it. Too many lives had been taken, too many sacrifices had been made for this to fail now...
A sudden pain in her head broke her train of thought... not the kind that comes from a headache or internal problem, but the kind you get when you feel like you're being watched from a long ways away. Instantly on guard, Marcela's head darted from shadow to shadow, and back to the door... something wasn't right, not at all; a scent was in the air, one vaguely familiar, but alien all the same. It smelled like death nearby, but then again, it wasn't a straight death; it was the scent of someone who had been dying for some time, but had either refused to give up or simply could not... Marcela was becoming nervous... just what was going on?!

He could see she was on edge now. It had taken some time to sink in but the panic was about to hit her. People usually did foolish things like shout or start swinging their weapons around when that happened. He didn't want that here and now. He could see the dagger from where he was.
Derek was in a predicament. He had never been in a situation where he had to tackle somebody without hurting them. He didn't care about her as much as the noise she would make if his gauntlets touched her skin. He wanted to talk but as soon as he gave up his position, she might attack him which would mean he would too and then everything would go downhill, for both of them.
He quickly but silently extended a spike each from his gauntlets. He darted forward, taking one giant step to reach right behind her. With one spike right in front of her neck and the other an inch from her back behind the heart, he spoke, "Dont move. If you make any noise, I will have to kill you. I just want to talk. These are your choices, follow me or die here..." He knew if she chose the latter option, he would be undoubtedly hunted down and killed too. He just hoped she wouldn't realize that.

She saw the shadow move out of the corner of her eye, but before she could react, Marcela was already at a disadvantage. Just feeling the heat emanating from whatever spell or item he was wearing made her body sweat at the inches-close distance; Mar felt that the threats were anything but empty. "You were the one who did that to the bars, were you not?" she stated quietly, almost in a whisper, "So why are you hesitating? Or rather, why did you do it in the first place?" She didn't say it, as it went without saying, but this one was obviously not of the Guild; even her simple-minded brain could tell that, although with the way things were going, she wouldn't doubt that they'd set a trap like this for her to take. At least that would make sense in her mind...

"Simply because you came here."His eyes darted around to watch his surrounding. One couldn't really tell as they were completely black and no movement would be seen in them. He realized that he was running short of time. But he had to know...
He whispered into her ear, "Why are you here?"
