"So...." Rae eyed the cat-gone-human," I take it you need a place to stay as well?" She didn't say it all together too friendly. She was a bit of a hypocrite, hating it when people invited themselves places.

"Nope. Just lonely. I could probably make myself a nest in the trees, or just lay on the ground." She said, then took another bite of her salad.
"Got any dressing?"

Violetta looked in the Cats direction to find a new human like figure sitting in her spot. She smiled. 'What might their reasons be for staying in a land like this?' Violetta thought to herself. The land smelled of an old, rotting tree. Despite the abundance of flowers. She realized she was staring at the Cat-human and looked down .

"Why would you eat a salad with dressing?" Rae gave Roary a weird look, "And you can stay for the night, I know there are wolves running around... And cats don't get along with wolves."

"You mean cats that can do this?" She turned back into a cat, and easily diced part of the log they were sitting on with a single stroke."
'Plus, wolves are a good treat, when all you get are rats."

Rae blinked.
"I see... Well then," she stood, towering over the two (remember, she's 6'1"), "I'm supposing demon kitty here can have first watch after this place gets cleaned up a bit."
She gathered the bowls, which were actually just reeds woven together and handed them to Violetta.
"You get the honor of washing the dishes. There's a creak just a few yards to the north."
She then turned on Roary, handing her a long, thick stick, "And you can get the fire under control."
Walking towards the clothesline, she hollered over her shoulder, "It looks like its gonna be a cold night tonight, so I hope you two have blankets. I only have two."
She layed the blankets on the ground next to the fire.

Violetta took the dishes, " Anything for a nights rest." She walked north-wards while looking throughout the forest, making sure she was safe.

"Hmph." Roary muttered when she tried to hold the stick in her paws. Frustrated, she used some of her demonic power to control the fire using some wind.
"I dont need a blanket, I have fur." She claimed, examining her handy work.
Then, without wasting any time, she leaped up onto the nearest tree, and sat up like an Egyptian statue.

Rae rolled her eyes, "Suit yourself then. If you get cold, you can lay by the fire."
She looked around, hoping there was another blanket somewhere. Unfortunately, there was only the two.
"Eh, forget it. I'll just go to a cave somewhere and go demon later tonight."

Violetta finally found the creek. It was small but had much water. She took some of the dishes out and soaked them in the water. She grabbed a large leaf and began scrubbing the dishes clean. She held a bowl up to the moon and inspected it. 'Quite clean but I shall scrub more.' She thought to herself.
Once finished with the dishes she dried them off quickly with the cloth held in hand.

Bored, Roary decided to do her trademark performance. She changed to human, and took out a banjo, then turned back to a cat. She then started playing it to the two other females on the ground, and singing like a hill billy.

So many questions again--it never seemed like he ever had a moment when everything just made sense and he realized and understood everything that was going on around him. It must have just been fate... just fate that made life usually difficult like this. But what did it really mean? Was it trying to make him stronger? ...or was it trying to take his life away from him?
Rynk limped slightly, being somewhat lightheaded from his trip through the portal and his stomach growling and his body quivering for rest and energy. But that was not the only problem this time... by now, the young teen-aged hero had been used to expecting the portal's effects, as he had been dragged unwillingly through many of them, being torn from the friendly faces he knew before, never to see them again as those worlds was just like dreams... or nightmares with the exception that one could actually die inside of them. The truth was, the worlds did exist, but not in his own reality. They were like mixed-up backwards versions of worlds he, nor anyone of his own world knew about. He recalled that one of his close allies from previous dimention gave him the title of "Realm-walker" when he finally decided to explain his situation to her. The bangle she gave him as a gift still rested on his left wrist.
But, that was the past. It should be the present and the new problems that have arisen that he should ponder over. Rynk's arm was numb and it was vastly deformed. His skin had turned more solid and a reddish-grey color. His veins seemed to be enlarged and pushed to the top of his skin, and at times, he could actually see though semi-transparent sections of it and watch the blood pulsate underneath. His fingers had sharpened into the form of claws, and the abnormal skin stretched all the way up to the top of his shoulder--his sleeve had been torn away by the same beast that left him with the three large slash marks in his fore-arm; they were probally the source of the 'infection'.
The rest of Rynk's body seemed to be normal--he had a slim, yet toned physique that appeared more to his skill and agility rather than strength, his hair was the medium-long mat of soft brown that reached the top of his eyes as he remembered it, and the small, curved scar on his right cheek that he recieved when he was still a child on his was still existing. But, his eyes seemed irritated now as well, and little did Rynk realize, they had the essense of a feline's eyes now--the iris was enlargened and the pupil was turned into a sliver.
"Music...?" The sound of a strumming instrument and a loud, almost unplesent singing caught his ear in the distance. It wasn't too far away, though he couldn't see what was causing it from where he was--the trees and other plantlife that existed in the forest were blocking his line of sight. Slowly, Rynk continued on, trying to recover from the portal's ideal. If he might be able to find some friendly faces, they might be able to help him and explain what exactly was happening to his arm.
