(OOC: Jess, I have no idea if you wanted to have your character meet up with Wang Chung later or already be a part of his traveling group. Just RP it however you want. I know the first post of this thread isn't great, but with only two characters posted I didn't have a lot to go by.)
Wang Chung looked around at the gaudy neon lights proclaiming the names of buildings such as The Astro Lounge and The House of the Rising Sun. Yes, this was definitely the place. He entered the building that looked the least like a brothel -- a run-down place called Alice's Restaurant -- and tried to look inconspicuous (which was difficult, as anyone who cared to look could clearly see the hilt of a katana blade protruding over his shoulder).
He surveyed the crowd, for the most part a scummy-looking lot (although there were a few, like him, who obviously didn't belong here), and took only the briefest notice of a woman pole-dancing on the other side of the room. The men at the table nearest to her were actually ignoring her as they participated in a probably very illegal card game.
He ordered some sake from the first waitress who walked past, and was surprised when she didn't even raise an eyebrow at the odd request. A few minutes later, she came back with his drink.

A young girl popped up from behind the new comer who had just ordered sake. "That is a very strange order..." She says. Her voice is musical, and strands of her golden locks tickled the flesh on Wang Chuings neck.
She smiles, "So you eenjoy the hard japanese stuff I see?" She says with a mocking tone, moving a bit from his left to the right, letting her hair tickle the whole back of his neck and shoulders. She skillfully avoids touching his katana with nothing but her hair and continues to stare at him.

"It reminds me of home," Wang Chung said. His accent wasn't as thick as most people would probably expect, but it was still easy to tell he wasn't from around here. He turned his head slightly to get a look at the girl who was speaking to him -- she was pretty, but she looked too young to be in a bar. However, as someone who looked much younger than he actually was himself, Wang was never one to make judgements where that sort of thing was concerned.
"I am Wang Chung. What is your name?" he asked her. He had expectations where this was concerned -- she definitely looked like a Summer or a Tiffany -- but he figured it'd be better to ask than to assume.

"The names Symphonia..." She says with a smile, laying her head on her hands and allowing her eye's to gaze deeply into his. At this moment, her hair drifted a bit to reveal her pointy ears. "I'm a bit far from home myself...but so far its been great!" She smiles warmly and clsoes her eyes for a moment.

A girl with bright red hair and neon purple eyes pokes her head out from behind a chair. She surveys the room and notices two strange people talking...neither of which looks like the typical visitor to this place. Curious, she sneaks over to get a better look. About halfway there she gasps and silently mouths "It's an elf!" She overcomes her shock, having never seen an elf before, and continues to get closer. Right as she gets within earshot, however, she trips over someone's leg and smashes into a waitress, knocking the tray of drinks from her hand. Her eyes flash bright for a split second, and, almost miraculously, not a single one of the drinks spilled a drop as they hit the floor upright. "Oh I'm terribly sorry! Here, let me help you pick those up," she says with an innocent smile. While picking up the glasses, she casts a few glances at the elf and her apparent friend at the bar, hoping her plan to get them to notice her had worked.

"It's very nice to meet you, Symphonia," Wang said. There was something unusual -- an aura of power -- about the girl. She definitely had something going for her that nobody else in the bar did, but he wasn't sure what. Before he could dwell on it too much, though, a commotion at the bar attracted his attention. Someone had tripped and crashed into a waitress, spilling a tray of drinks. He moved to help, but all of the drinks had already landed upright on the floor, without a drop spilled. He saw the eyes of the woman who had crashed into the waitress and realized they were a bright, intense purple. "Well, you don't see that every day," he remarked drily as the violet-eyed woman helped the waitress pick up her drinks and put them back on the tray.

Seeing that her plan had worked, the red haired girl apologized to the waitress. She turned to face the elf and her friend, taking notice of the katana on his back for the first time. Seeing the man with the katana facing her, she decided it would only be polite to introduce herself, especially if she could get a chance to follow the elf! She had always loved the elves in stories her mother had told her.
Reaching the elf and the man, she bowed low with a bit of a flourish. "Fantasia Xiloscient, at your service!" Fantasia popped her head up without breaking the bow. "But you can call me Fan!" she said with a wink. Fan stood up and waited, somewhat impatiently, for the two to respond. Her dress seemed to shift in color ever so slightly, almost resembling a bright fire.

Phobia was in a daze. She had never been in the city before, and was never used to being so confined by buildings this close. She had flown a long ways to get here, away from her annoying twenty-three year old brother, and her stomach growled like a rampaging beast.
Looking around, Phobia spotted a little bar, and decided to give it a try.
She pushed open the door, and was so busy looking at all the different people that she wasn't watching where she was going.
Phobia was looking off behind her shoulder when she bumped into something with what appeared to be a stick-no, a katana at closer inspection on their back.
She stepped back, her pale skin turning a cherry red.
"Oh, sorry! I didn't see you there." Phobia saw two others standing around the person she bumped into, and introduced herself. "My name is Phobia. I don't usually come around here too often. May I ask what is the best thing to eat here?"

"Hello, Fan," Wang said, standing up and bowing himself -- an old habit from days long past in Japan, but a hard one to break. "I am Wang Chung, and this is Symphonia." He hoped the blond girl didn't mind him introducing her.
Just then, someone bumped into him from behind. He turned to see who it was, and was presented with one of the most exotic-looking creatures he had ever seen (and he had seen a lot). The creature introduced herself, and Wang Chung bowed again and said, "I am Wang Chung. It is nice to meet you. Unfortunately, I just got here and haven't had time to look at the menu yet -- but one of the people I've been talking to may know what is safe to eat here." He indicated Symphonia and Fan.

Symphonia smiled at Fan, and pointed at herself as she was introduced. "Hiii!" She said with a wide creepy smile. She laughed a bit and let her hair tickle the shoulders of Wang Chung before her eyes settled on the new comer. She blinked a bit before smiling and canting her head. "I'm Symphonia!" She says, simple enough.
Upon the question of food Symp quickly leapt, that is to say she clambered, over Wang Chung and plopped down in his lap, picking up his menu and pointing to something. "I like the pancakes here!" It was a large stack of pancakes with some strawberries and whipped cream. "They're good."

Phobia blinked in surprise at Symphonia's energetic aura. She hesitated, then took a seat next to Wang Chung.
"Um, hi, Symphonia. You like pancakes too? I think they're best with raspberries and whipped cream...Maybe I'll have those." Phobia stands and walks to the register, then returns five minutes later with a large stack of pancakes; raspberries and whipped cream piled on top.
She licks her lips before digging in. "You had a great idea, there Symphonia." Phobia turns to the third person in the group. "I'm Phobia. I don't come here all that often. What's your name?"

Fan's eyes gleam with delight at the sight of the pancakes. "I'm Fan!" she says with a slight glance at Phobia. Returning her stare to the pancakes, she grins and says "those look amazing! But I know of something better." She snatches the menu from Chung and Symphonia. Flipping to the second to last page, she brushes her hand down the list, then back up, stopping on a single item. "This one! It's got this chewy fishy stuff in it, and it has these odd little black balls that are really spicy. Oh! And it has green pasty stuff on rice." The dish was eel sautéed in garlic butter with pepper corns, served with wasabe and rice. An odd mix of flavors to say the least.
Fan flips the menu into the air and it lands perfectly square in the center of the nearest table. She then prances off to order the strange dish.
A few minutes later she returns carrying two plates of food. The second is loaded with five different dessert orders. She's carrying the receipt in her mouth with a huge grin on her face.

Wang Chung was surprised by the sudden extreme amount of energy displayed by the three women. He wondered if something had happened that he wasn't aware of -- a magical spell being cast or something -- or if this was just normally how they acted. He grabbed the menu off the table and flipped through it -- the dish that Fan had looked good, and was starting to spark his own appetite.
He asked Symphonia politely if she could move -- he would have to wait for a server to come by again if she remained on his lap, and he wasn't sure when that would happen as the waitresses were often delayed for long periods of time by extricating themselves from the grip of a male customer.

"Is that eel? Yuck." Phobia makes a face at the odd dish, but continues to munch on her pancakes. She never cared what other people ate, as long as they didn't try and make her try it.
"So, what brings everyone here? I'm from out of town, just here to get away from my annoying brother. What do you like to do here, Wang Chung?" Phobia takes a big bite of wipped cream and berries and gets the cream on her nose. "Oops. Um, does anyone have a napkin?"

Symp kidnly gets off of the mans lap and sits down in the seat next to him, laying her head down on the surface in front of her and looking up at everyone. "I entertain folk's here..." She says with a smile, even though its a bit muffled by the fact that she had her head on her hands.
She giggles a bit at a passy woman, since her skirt was obviously too short for her own good. "I like singin'..." She offers to the conversation, looking around from her spot on the table.
