(Let's just forget about that, he'll pop up if he wants to keep playing.)
Daron took a drink of water and followed Kyra. He knew he was being an idiot whenever he go t around her in strange situations. They only just met and this girl got him more nervous than any other girl that he had ever met. Admittedly that wasn't too many and it didn't help she was nearly or completely naked. However, he had other things to do and she said she would help him.
"Kyra, you said that you were going to take me to see the Fairy Queen or something. Forget about that for the moment, is your place nearby, we need to talk..." he said looking in the direction she was, His eyes had never seen a more beautiful sight than what he saw then...

"Well that all depends on how you want to get there, by sky or stairs", she said gesturing to a tall towering tree with leaves of gold and fairies zooming in and around the tree. No one could see the top because she was advocate for the fairies to the other creatures outside this realm. "Time stands still here you will age slower and never become ill", said Kyra, "Do you want to meet the Queen and King? If so you must dress properly and do not speak to them, they will not understand what you say, but you are safe with me.
Kyra rose her hand into the air waving it through the breeze. The air lifted her up gently. "Stairs? or Sky?"

"What?" Daron said watching her, he was still not used to seeing things like this done.
"Oh....sky I guess," he said realizing what she meant, looking towards the tree," I don't think I want to try and climb that."
He hid a smile, there were things happening he didn't understand. The elves don't seem the same people he ran into when he was a child and now he has learned that there are other things here, things that he didn't even know how the heck he knew what they were, but he knew who started this and was hoping that someone could enlighten him on her reason...

Kyra stirred her fingers in a circle as the wind rustled up and lifted up Daron and we are gently lifted up on to a large deck. There was no door and Daron didnt have a soft landing as Kyra. "Sorry" she said laying her hand on the tree and a doorway glew. "Come in night is comming and we are safe with the Fairies but not as safe as I would like." Kyra walked through taking the torn up shirt off and walking behind huge leaves covering her up. She steps out wearing a simple white dress with a split up each side all the way to her thighs. "I have clothes for you as well" She pour him some mead and offered him some fruits. "I'm sorry I didnt have any time to hunt so I have no meat for tonight" she said sitting down next to the fire that was burning with no wood, as it would seem the tree itself housed her and grew as she did.

Daron was a little stiff getting up, he landed hard on backside. He followed her inside and immediately heard his stomach growl. When she stepped out from behind the leaves, he had to avert his eyes after a second to keep from staring and being rude. That dress accentuated her figure too well for his own comfort, but he had other things on his mind. He tried to hide his reaction to her.
"Thanks for the fruit, it'll due," he said watching the strange fire.
"Could you get me a shirt?" he asked a little shyly, now consciously aware that his scars were visible. He was a little touchy about those.
"And maybe some gloves," he added as he bit into a strange piece of fruit that he hoped was an apple. He didn't like those dragon marks being seen either...

Kyra stood up and walked over to a bed a lifted a shirt up checking it to see if it would fit him. She smiled and nodded tossing the shirt in his lap. "I'm sorry but I do not have any gloves. There are no need for such things as that. You should not be ashamed of what you where born with. Accept who you are and you will be happier." Kyra reached out and touched the scars on Daron she traced her finger tips to his dragon markings and examined them. "Why would you want to hide who you are, I will have the working fairies fashion you some gloves for when you leave here but try to be yourself.

Daron jerked away, anger rising inside of him faster than he could reign it in. The shirt falling to the floor.
"Be ashamed of what I was born with," he said, with an edge to his voice that seemed threatening,"Are you mad. I wasn't born with these accursed marks, they were branded into my skin like I was a piece of cattle!"
After a moment, Daron calmed down. He knelt and picked up the shirt and began putting it on.
"Sorry,"he said," I didn't mean to snap at you like that. It's just these marks, I don't know why I have them. I would rather cut them off of my skin than be branded like this. However, that just isn't possible..."

Kyra stepped away holding her hand out in defense the tree groaned and trembled. "Daron I should not have assume you were born with your markings like me, some are chosen at birth and born with them like me, others are chosen for a different reason, but please do not sound threatening or angry with me, I shall warn you not as a threat but as a fact I am protected here, this tree would rather swallow you up before any harm come my way. You must be tired.." she said as and lowered her hand and took a step back. "Would you like me to show you where you could sleep?" Kyra's tone was not nice was not soothing it was ice cold.

As he pulled the shirt on, Daron decided he best try to appease her a little. She was upset at his outburst, obviously, and he really had no clue as to what was really going on.
"Kyra, look I'm sorry. We need to talk before anything and if anyone should be tired, it's you. You were the one who got us here, not to mention other things. Your energy must have been zapped," he laughed a little,"That's assuming you don't do something like that all the time."
Daron's tone grew serious,"You said you could tell me what was going on here, but I think it might be best if i tell you how I got these marks..."he hesitated for a moment,"All of them", he finished catching himself reaching to his back....

Kyra knelt near the fire trailing her fingers along the flames unharmed she cleared her throat and spoke very softly,"I do not get tired as others do all I need is one drop of water and I can be given strength beyong your imagination. I got us here from old magick, Yes it took a toll out of my body...." her gaze traveled into the dimming window light."You do not have to tell me anything, you will speak before the Queen and King yourself. I shall be translate for you. If the fairies can keep you safe...or want to I will tell you anything you ask. I know many more things than I let on Daron so as for pleasing me for being upset, I was not the one you upset." The tree shook hard and Kyra laughed.

As the tree shook, Daron managed to brace himself before falling over. He had forgotten that here the land itself had a will of its own and the tree he was currently in obviously was very protective of Kyra.
When it settled down, Daron smiled a bit. "It looks like I apologized to the wrong one. Tell your friend, the tree, I'm sorry for any discourtesy I may have shown," he said in a very amused fashion. He liked that the tree was protective of the her. Though, he didn't understand why.
"I'll speak with them in the morning, I guess. However, their are somethings I would rather not speak of in public," he said his tone growing serious again. He could still remember quite vividly how he got the scar on his back. Every now and then whenever he remembered the incident, occasionally the scar would beginning burning once again. It hadn't happened for quite sometime, mainly because he was worlds away from the one who had given him the scar, which is why he screamed when the fit began again as the scar turned fiery red as he arched his back in pain....

Kyra stood looking much taller than before."Daron you do not need translation to speak to a tree, Oryan understands verbal apologises and can also feel in the soul of a man. This tree I gave my heart to. He protects me he shelters me and need be he feeds me. As for you meeting the Queen and King it will be in private but by no means will it be morning. You are human as I but I was trained to see the unseen as a child. Tonight at midnight you will meet her Lady of Light and her Knight. Though I think you need to explain to me you're history before I vouche for you infront of them. You are safe because I am ambassador to these creatures. So please tell me your story young man." Kyra's eyes danced like stars in the heavens looking soft again the tree was even calming.

Daron had closed his eyes, willing the pain to go away and it finally subsided. He unarched his back as his muscles came untensed and began breathing normally again. Daron looked at the woman standing across from him. Her eyes...Daron closed his to think for a second.
"Look, I'm not exactly clear on what you just said, but if you wanna hear what I've got to say. Then, so be it," he said as he slumped back down to the floor close to the fire.
"You might wanna sit down for this," he said,"And if you can hear me, Oryan, then listen up cause I'm going to say this once and only once..." he trailed off.
After a moment he looked back to Kyra, with look of anger, no pure rage, but it wasn't her that had got him upset. It was the story he was about to tell,"This will not be a pleasant tale..."

Kyra picked up a wooden bowl and walked towards Daron kneeling at his side. She broke up herbs and leaves and rose her hand over the wooden bowl and water came from her hand to the bowl. Kyra stirred the herbs and held the bowl out towards Daron."Take this child I swear it will not hurt you it will calm you and help you later." She stood up gathering some of the goo like herbs in her palms and walked around to his back and applied it to his shoulders."You dont have to tell me anything only the Queen needs to know. I will be there to translate for you. I only wish to help." Kyra sighed and walked towards the door watching the night grow darker. She stood solemly waiting whether or not he would tell her how anyone could do that to another. She cringed and held herself leaning in the door way.

Daron just shrugged the shirt off and put it back on the floor. He didn't want it to get sticky and besides he was feeling a bit better. He sighed after a moment. He knew he had to tell her something. He saw her in the doorway, and he felt something stir inside him, he shook his head violently for a moment. He would have none of that, it had already caused him enough trouble.
"As you know, I'm not from this world," he began a little slowly,"It started ten years ago, in my world. I had been playing a baseball game with my friends in the park and it was my turn at bat..." he trailed off for a second then began again,"My friends had been picking on me all day and I really didn't like it. They got me really upset because they knew that i had trouble with this type of game..."as he spoke a little of his anger was showing itself in his voice.
"Well, I don't know exactly what happened then, but as the ball came at me for the last time, I knew that a few of them were laughing at me and I swung the bat with all my might..."he laughed an unsettling laugh and continued," The bat shattered in my hands and the ball skyrocketed into the forest. I knew the direction it was headed and so did the others. It was the only ball we had and they sent me into the woods to get it..." he stopped again, trying to composed himself.
"I had the general area memorized and I knew it fell around somewhere near the old rock quarry. They made me go get it because they were to scared to go near that place. People said it was haunted, but I never really believed those stories, but I was still afraid. After walking through the brambles and bushes, getting myself all cut up, I came to the quarry. It was all filled in with water," he said and taking a breath for a second...
"Well, I looked around and didn't see the ball anywhere, so I was about to turn back when I had this sinking feeling that the ball was close by. So....I looked over the edge of the cliff and saw it about ten yards down on a small outcropping of rock. I wanted to get that ball and get out of there fast, thus I started climbing down the rock face. I knew it was dangerous, but I...." he stopped himself for a moment, after all these years he still didn't know why he was so compelled to get that freaking ball.
"Anyways, about halfway down I lost my footing and hit my head on the side of the quarry wall, I tried frankly to catch a hold of something, and finally managed to, but it fell out of the quarry wall. I hit my head one more time before plunging into the water. I was so dazed I didn't even feel the stone that I tried to grab sear my hand before that golden light enveloped me in the water and the stone became anchored to the bottom of the quarry," he said pausing...
"I couldn't breathe and I was desperate to get above the water. I thrashed frantically until I close to the surface, and hen my strength gave out and I started sinking. Next thing I know, I'm coughing up water and I'm looking into a pair of amber eyes..." he said, taking a moment to see if she had any questions or comments before continuing...
