((kait, me. will think about others later if needed.))
"What did I do... why am I here..." the boy struggled against his bindings as he lay on the table, leather straps holding him down.
"please let me go." he cried, looking up into the cold eyes of the woman he thought he loved.
"sorry love, but this has to happen." she leaned down and gave him a kiss one last, final time.
"what about my family? my parents? they're expecting me to come home. You can't do this." tears fell from his darkening eyes.
"they knew this was going to happen... they're not expecting you home..." she said coldly, not looking him directly in the eyes.
"no." He shook his head, shutting his eyes tightly, not wanting to believe it.
"please... don't do this... I don't want to die... I'm not old enough to die..." he begged her again.
"I'm sorry, but it has to be this way. The world needs this. You don't understand what's happening, but I do. This is our destiny. We MUST fulfill it." the woman said as she raised a knife into the air.
"why? why me? why would you do this to me... I thought you loved me... why would you do this?" the man was in hysterics, terrified of the death awaiting him.
"Because, you're the sacrifice." and with that she plunged the knife down into his heart.
He cried out in pain, knowing now that there was no escaping death.
His breathing slowed, and a final tear fell from his eyes as they changed.
They changed from their usual bright and kind, loving eyes, to dark and cold, cruel... a cruelty that would follow him into the next life...
Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"
"What did I do... why am I here..." the boy struggled against his bindings as he lay on the table, leather straps holding him down.
You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
"please let me go." he cried, looking up into the cold eyes of the woman he thought he loved.
"sorry love, but this has to happen." she leaned down and gave him a kiss one last, final time.
Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

"they knew this was going to happen... they're not expecting you home..." she said coldly, not looking him directly in the eyes.
Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out,
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out,
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"

And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
I'll wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
I'll wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...
