"Nope, it wasn't me! It was the purple...rabbit....hmm?" Sean asked groggily. It seemed that the dream had been mixed with reality and he woke up only catching the end of Mae's questions...

"how long have we been asleep? did we lose the dark wizards?" she looked at him worriedly, scared they might have lost an animal by now.

"Don't worry, it hasn't been that long. Let's just go and see what's up in town, hopefully they don't even know where to look next."
Tons of worried thoughts flooded into Sean's mind. 'What if she's right?' 'What if you are walking into a trap by going back into town?' 'What if...What if...' Sean decided to just go with instinct and so he got up and began jogging towards the town, a ways into the jog he turned to see Mae and asked...
"How's your side doing by the way? Sorry I just forgot about it with all those questions you asked haha. You alright?"

"I'm fine." she quickly followed him, Kas quickly ahead of them sniffing around.

Sean got to the town and stood up against the wall, trying to be 'hard to see'. He peered around to look inside the gate so as to see if any Dark Wizards were there. They were there...tons of them. Sean gasped at how many there were and he quickly looked back at Mae.
"There. Are. Tons. Of. Them. What do you want to do?"

"Well... they think we're in the inn.. so... run 'em over with their carriage again?" she suggested.

Sean chuckled, then actually considered the plan.
"Only thing is...I have no clue where their carriage is, and also, I think after last time...they probably have someone guarding their carriage...but we could always check and see!"
Sean began to walk around the outside of the walls to get to the gate where the Dark Wizards had obviously entered because some of them were still walking in. When he neared the last turn which would reveal whether the carriage was there or not, he paused, waiting for Mae and any suggestion she'd give...

There was someone guarding the carriage, so that wasn't a good option. "... now I'm out of ideas... that was my big one..."

Sean sighed, trying to think of options... suddenly he said...
"We don't have to kill 'em do we? They are trying to get us right? So, all we have to do is listen and then we can get what they are trying to say, and stay a step ahead of them. Good?"

"yeah... actually... that is a good idea..." she smiled and chuckled at him.

Sean took a deep breath and went back around to the other side of the town and entered as quietly as he could. Nearing the hotel where they were going to stay, Sean listened as he heard something resembling voices up in the room...

"we can't wait here for these two troublesome children... The longer we wait the deeper into the woods the fire god gets..." one of the dark wizards said to the other.

Sean's eyes widened at the news. He turned to Mae and grinned, winking in a slight feeling of victory. As they waited just outside he leaned in, towards Mae, and whispered...
"So, should we leave and try to find the fire god? Or should we wait for more?"
Just as he finished the question he heard a Dark Wizard say...
"Wait...I heard something....quickly, quiet!"
Sean cringed and looked at Mae with a 'Ooops?' look on his face.
[Finally something to work with, rofl. Keep it up!]

((Lol, you're welcome.))
"let's go." Mae whispered to Sean and instinctively grabbed his hand as she started away as quickly and silently as she could.

Sean was tugged along by Mae once again and he simply walked after as he watched the window to make sure nothing would look out. As Mae and Sean rounded the wall and were out of sight, Sean said...
"So, they aren't even sure where the fire god is. So...we should run into the woods and try and find it? That seems sensible eh?"
