*Ciara raised an eyebrow at the girl in front of her.* "Am I? I suppose I'm not used to having anyone to talk to. And even when I do, I'm not used to having anything to say." *She cast a glance at the two by the fire.* "It would seem that I am the only one here with that problem."

Uri glanced back at the two other woman that he had walked by. Uir then looked back at jade and said softly and a bit sweetly. "No no your not talking enough in my opinion. But no I haven't really made any arangements to stay. I usally don't stay in any villiage for very long. I have things to do and people to meet you could say."
Uri saw Jade glance at his scare but didn't let her know that he had noticed. "So who are your friends? Would you care to introduce me. I would love to stay in your companys and perhaps buy you all something to drink and eat."

She smiled at him " Well if you need a place to stay tonight i have an exra bed in my room. Fell free to stay there if you like. I promise i dont bite." she laughed a bit.
She then said to him" Well i dont know them well but sure i can intruduce you if you like. I enjoy your company as well." She put her hand on his shoulder hoping it wasnt a bit to much" Come with me." She then walked over to the other girls talking. " Hi everyone. This is my new friend Uri. may we sit with you?" she then looked at Uri and replied " this is Ciara." she pointed to the silent girl. "And this is Laluli." Pointing at the happy one with her hands holing her chin.

Laluli turned her head, shifting it to only one hand, and waved with the other. "Hello, Uri!"

Uri turned to look at the women. "Its nice to meet you all." He smiled showing his white teeth.
"So what brings you all to this tavern? If you like I will buy you all food and drinks." Uri was happy to buy them food and drinks he loved to help people even if they didn't need his help.
"You can have whatever you want....I'm not a rich man but I have enough to feed us all." Uri then raised his hand singneling for one of the wetresses to come over.

The door to the tavern slowly creeked open, and silence gripped the room. A man, wearing a black cloak walked in, carrying a lantern in his bony outstretched, and bloodly clawlike hand. A single red eye glew beneath his hood, as he was followed quickly by a woman. The woman was quite regal in appearance, with a collar and a heavy chain around her neck.
The man jerked the chain and ushered the ever-silent woman into the room. another similarly-clad man walked in behind her, brandishing a sword.
The man holding her chain gave it another sharp jerk and brought the woman to her knees. And she sat there, stairing off into space. The man with the lantern opened the glass and put the flame out, with a single cold whisper. The golden harp strung to the womans back glinted a bit in the light. The man spat an order at her, in some unknown tongue and she stood up. The three moved to a nearby table and sat down.

Uri saw the man tougeing at the woman and was quite angered by the way she was being treated. "Do any of you all know anything about those characters over there. I don't think what he's doing to that woman is right. I'm going to go say something. Just order what you like from the watress."
Uri then walked over to the man with the red eye. "What are you doing to this poor woman? What has she done to you?"

Jade looked at the charactors. she had never seen them before. Why was he doing that to that young woman. Jade stood up but did not go over.

The one with the chain looked over at the woman and spat something in the unknown tongue at her. Her head tilted up so her grey eye's staired straight into the eye's of Uri. Without a second glance you could tell they were grey from the mix of sorrow and maddness that tugged at her heart and mind. And in her angelic whisper-like voice she spoke, "Lifedebt...if i don't repay them i die..." She said, returning to her dream-like trance.

Uri was astonished by what he had seen. But frantikly thought of the womans well being. "What might I do to repay this womans Lifedebt to you? What do I have to do to free her?" He said to the man with the red eye looking him strait in the eye unfaltering in his strong stance.

Laluli's blue eyes were locked on the scene. It wasn't right for the woman to be chained up. It wasn't right for any living thing to be chained.
Though it wasn't even her over there, Laluli's breathing became uneven, and her mind went to her weapons in the back room.

The one with the eye smiled and looked back at the woman, spitting at her in the same tongue he keeps using. Herh ead goes through the same motions as it did before, "Only the one who opted to purchase me may do so..." She said, her head returning to its locked dream-like stare.

Jade was also angery at this point. How dare these men do this. She then spoke to Laluli without looking at her. " so what do you think they're doing to her and i hope Uri dont get in to much trouble. id hhate to seehim get hurt. Should we go over there?"

*Ciara, who had remained silent as usual, listened to all of this with increasing interest. It was when she caught the word 'lifedebt' that she slowly rose to her feet. She was all too familiar with the custom of lifedebts and enslavement. Slowly, she approached the small group, although she didn't draw too close, just close enough to make her presence known. She didn't want this man to do anything that would interfere negatively in a lifedebt. He obviously wasn't the type that was familiar with such derogatory and humiliating situations. Her voice remained soft and unchanging as she reluctantly spoke up, her eyes locking with the woman's grotesque master.* "I have your money... Give her to me..." *She glanced at Uri.* "Stay out of this... She's my purchase..."
